Best is to just assume you are diabetic snd stop eating carbs and sugar.
Excellent.....and institute some effort at either preventing, reducing, or treating fatty liver regardless of whether you are positive or not about these things.
Funny how at the beginning the girl wasn't eating carbs and wondered why her A1C was creeping up
@@RobSmith-pd9ybmy a1c is 5.8 and I’ve been on keto/carnivore for 5 weeks now. Lost 15 lbs and I’ve always had high cholesterol because my dad was a butcher and I adore butter. But I was also eating pasta because mom is Italian and we always had pasta and bread and pizza. My doc wants me to go for the CTA to check calcification of arteries now 🤷🏼♀️.

In my own labs, I don't think I've ever had a fasting BG below 60, probably not even below 80. My labs have only indicated H fasting BG once or twice in 15 years, and only when above maybe 105 (I could easily be wrong here).
I'm sure I'm IR but in all my years of having labs done, I've never seen any indication that the goal for fasting BG should be below 30, hence my question about scales. Comparing apples to oranges?
Thanks,
Alex
If you are in zero carb diet and calorie restricted you can
