@a7xfanforever556 dude... the books are worth it. Especially Taking Shape II. The book covers many of the batshit crazy ideas for Halloween sequels.
Everyone talks about how Jamie's psychic connection with Michael was abrupt and out of nowhere in H5, but she already showed signs of it in H4. She was dreaming about him before she ever saw him even dreaming about the ambulance that he was in, so the connection was there
Never should have happened anyway. There is no universe where a "normal man" which they constantly went on about survives having BOTH of his eyes shot out by sharpshooter Strode, being at the center of an explosion and being burnt alive. Jamie had no clue he existed, and he had no clue she existed, it would be impossible for there to be some "connection" between 2 people whom neither knows the other exists.
not to mention wasn't it supposed to be hinted that her name and everything had been changed cuz of the previous situation or something like that 🤷🤔

I really did not like the supernatural or connection link they put in the Halloween franchise regarding Michael but it's whatever.
@@lutherheggs451He did know she existed though. Rewatch the ambulance scene at the start of Halloween 4. The paramedics are talking about how Jamie is his only surviving relative. They literally mention it right before he kills them and escapes. And she didn't shoot him in the eyes the blood was just pouring out of the eye holes. Michael is also pretty far from a "normal man".
I'm not the biggest fan of Hellraiser, but I can't stop thinking of that crossover, now, especially if Carpenter and Barker's collab had gone through.
same here altho this last hellraiser was decent
myers would certainly lose. everyone would lose with cenobites. michael and freddy would be interesting but i wonder if it wouldn't just be copy paste of freddy vs jason.

4 and 5 were good but I agree that the mask was horrible and the killing Rachael was stupid. The connection between Jamie and Michael makes more sense than his connection with Cory

Was hoping for a prequel to Halloween III Season of the Witch. So many unanswered questions about how that mess all started.

My question is did the kidnappers groom Michael and Shawn into being killers or were they traumatized so much that they ended killing the kidnappers but resulted in them only trusting each other that they would both go on a killing spree together

I liked the hitcher and nightmare on elm st. I also liked Rob Zombies intense twist on Halloween. It was raunchy, but it was fun and new twist on Michael.

I think that unmade Halloween 5 would have been good if certain elements were changed. Jamie struggling with an evil version of herself could have been fixed if she was doing in front of a mirror like Norman Osbourn and the Green Goblin
I say multi personalities and The other people can see her fighting with Dark self. Take Halloween Ends but instead of just passing it Down the Person fighting it. like the Ending where you know She lost & the Evil side won. That is why the Cult is in Halloween 6 & why the idea was Returned in Halloween Ends.
This video makes me so excited for Halloween and fall. My favorite time of year.

I remember reading on IMDb message boards years ago about plotlines & scripts written by an upcoming writer named Damien Cain. Some guy called The Honest Horror Reporter provided the information & details. Apparently his work was pretty good.

Halloween and pinhead crossover always sounded crazy but I actually like the idea now, could’ve been a knarly movie
I wish we would have gotten Hellraiser versus Halloween would have been awesome supposedly they even talked to Clive Barker about it and he was excited about merging the story. They say it would have explained Myers getting the Box in his trick or treat bag that Halloween night and becoming a partial host for Samhain a Halloween spirit from the Labyrinth
i think moving forward id be interested in seeing just a story of jamie and her being the killer. Move forward and shes mentally unstable in a pysch ward and she escapes, a similar story to michael. i wouldn't call it halloween or use the same mask just keep the same characters and timeline. theres little to no women iconic movie killers and jamie could bring that imo

Maybe a concept of now that Michael is dead, Jamie takes over as his soul enters her to restore the psychic connection they once had in the 80s

i also like the tought of a hellraiser spinoff with michael dead he now faces pinhead in hell. theres quite a few things they can do with michael dead

One of the screenplay ideas that I have is a back story about Michael's time in Smith's Grove. And yes, in my screenplay, young Michael kills people in Smith's Grove.

The mismatches are kind of funny though if you think about it. Michael vs Jason actually makes more sense while Freddy vs Pinhead is also more logical

Michael Myers vs Pinhead? One is a silent killer, the other basically just delivers cool speeches while ordering his minions to do things. Would be a weird movie.
The one I find the most interesting is the take that Tarantino almost wrote which would have had a mysterious Lee Van Cleef type Bounty Hunter:
“Yeah, I was like, ‘Leave that scene where [the Man in Black] shows up, alright, and freeze Michael Myers,'” Tarantino said. “And so the only thing that I had in my mind, I still hadn’t figured out who that dude was, was like the first 20 minutes would have been the Lee Van Cleef dude and Michael Myers on the highway, on the road, and they stop at coffee shops and shit and wherever Michael Myers stops, he kills everybody. So, they’re like leaving a trail of bodies on Route 66.”
In all honesty, I just want to see Lee Van Cleef shoot it out with Michael Meyers. Obviously, it wasn't possible in the 90s, but it hypothetically could've been some crazy fun. And for as scary as Michael Meyers is, he's losing to Lee Van Cleef, hands down!

I loved Platinum Dunes' remake of Friday the 13th, much more than I liked the originals, but I'm SOOO glad they didn't do this Halloween.
Just watched all the Halloween movies and I have to say all of them are better than Halloween Ends!!

The sam hain thing actually kinda makes sense. The regular cenobites can be killed but a human possessed by a cenobite, that just keeps regenerating Mike explains how he just shrugs and recovers. If you took that part like just that part and make it like young Mike got it while he was trick or treating by himself, gets possessed then comes home and kills everyone it would actually fit nicely. Then have everything else from the other script.
Jamie had psychic powers going back to 4....they were just never fully elaborated on

There was another version of halloween 5 that would have had Michael Myers get revived by lightning which surged all the murderous rage out of him and leaving him as a good guy. Unfortunately his reputation as a killer causes the town to come aftwr him and he kills in self defense. Dr. Loomis knows about his change of heart and tries to save him and protect him from the townspeople. They eventually catch up with him and take him out
Can you cover the unmade IT scripts?? There is a 2010, a 2014&2015. Super interesting

I hate to say it but I actually liked the Rob Zombie Halloweens. It was a different take on Michael but if I had to compare it to 20, Resurrection, 4,5 and 6. I'd say it blows those away. The 2018 was so good.
Same! I like his H2 better than his first remake. Laurie's post Halloween trauma is by far the best out of all the movies
H2 is amazing. Rob zombies halloweens are my favorite.

If you have a traumatic childhood you could one or another and with the kidnapping story line you kinda don’t need a reason why the kids grew up to be killers

Stop itttttt! The killer inside would have been SO much better than the crack pot they gave us!!! They built us up so high with the fourth movie only to let us crash and burn with the fifth 😞 that entire storyline of the fifth was a loss. Some tweaks would be needed for the killer inside but not many! Sounds so good 😩

People complain about the Thorn trilogy but even that was far better than the David Gordon Green trilogy. Corey Cunningham? What is that? His homage to Happy Days? And Corey had way too much screen time than Michael did which is a horror movie sin.
The Thorn trilogy was a great idea with poor execution because the films were rushed. Had those movies been made slower and more complex with the cult idea and more backstory, the Thorn trilogy would’ve been excellent. It would’ve went a long way towards explaining where Michael got his invincibility and why he kills. Some people say we don’t need to know but all successful horror films have to explain why and how their main villain killer came to be. Most of these unmade horror films are better off that way because well, they suck!

My guess is that there are many things that never existed that I don't know about.
I like the idea of a horror survivors group that sounds pretty cool in a parody sort of way. I would also like the idea of of Pinhead being confused what exactly Michael Myers is, kind of like Michaels existence is outside of the realms of hell and is a blasphemy to heaven and hell.

Yes! I’ve always loved 7 since they seemed to (finally) attempt to have a reason and connection for Michael. Even Jason has some kinda rational behind it…but micheal never did and it bugs me. 7 they tried and quickly dropped it. I don’t recognize whatever the modern ones are doing with it. They seem even more fragmented.
@@travzimmerman1340 Not really. It ends with another cliffhanger: Michael still on the loose and cursed, Jamie's baby is still out there, and Dr. Loomis is still screaming. The Producer's Cut is the true H6, but its plot was still abandoned.

Corey could or could not be alive, as basically Michael Myers snapped Michael Myers’ Neck, Corey already survived a slit throat (he was still alive when Michael got the mask back after all), so who’s the next Laurie Strode to oppose the Corey’s new Michael. There’s new blood behind the mask, so a sequel actually makes sense for once.

Other than that, most horror movies don't have enough grounds to stand on for a VS battle. Except for Jason Vorhees VS Michael Myers, Death Battle settled that a year or two ago. Jason wins because of his more impressive feats of survival and speed.
I mean now that they're remaking Halloween sequels and retconing everything; they COULD take off from Halloween 4 and bring back Rachel and Jamie-Lloyd (NOT TINA).

Honestly yes I would have liked Killer Inside me maybe have had that be the sixth film and wrap tje Thorn Cult thing in 7, then we see H20 involve Jaime hunting her mother or atleadt meeting her and they fight Michael together? They coulda made killer inside me but take out a lot of the BS like clone Michael myers. But evil Jamie def shoulda been made into the movie that was 1 of the most interesting points in the film. Jamie having an evil personality woulda been cool asf 2 see showing that Jamie isn’t fully gone until the end of the movie. Killing of Loomis was a stupid idea however, they def shoulda made loomis have a better arc.
