I just sold my C7 Corvette for a loaded R/T Shaker with a 6-speed. Granted, the C7 is an amazing performance car, but the R/T is so much more comfortable, the ride is orders of magnitude better than the Corvette, and the R/T is just more fun to drive. The Shaker R/T also captures the nostalgia of classic muscle cars.

That's a sweet car you got there man! Shaker hood looks amazing, the color is beautiful, stick shift makes it so much fun to drive! That car is a keeper for life , if I owned this car I would never sell it, probably a better street car than a Hellcat IMO!

I’ve had my 2016 manual Scat Pack since 2017 and have loved every day of ownership. I’ve had so much fun in this car. Love the shaker, nice purchase!

Officially my favorite car you have had so far. The shift pattern is tilted towards the driver, so it takes a little time to get used to that. I honestly can't wait to see what you end up doing with it. Also can't wait to see your daughter learning to drive it. Deeper gears and that torque will give her confidence in learning clutch modulation. Good on ya.

Again .... the 6-speed makes you feel so connected to the car. Enjoy it while you have it. When you get it up in the air ... check for a Skip Shift Eliminator to prevent the car from forcing you from 1st to 4th in certain situations. And ... it would be good to know if the Clutch Delay Valve has been removed.

I love the shaker top. I picked up my 2022 Wide Body Shaker this past Memorial Day. I remember working at my dad’s car repair shop back in 1980 and a customer had a 1970 Cuda with the Shaker Top. Always wanted The Shaker Top too. It took me 42 years to get mine but I finally did it. Best of luck with yours!

Just picked up an old Mopar with a manual transmission. My last stick shift vehicle went away in 2000. It’s been a little bit of an adventure, but loving every minute of it.

That is a great Challenger. You know how to make a car look amazing. I have driven manuals my while life. I now have a automatic in my 22 Challenger Hellcat WB. I had a lot of fun driving my manuals. I really enjoyed the video. Thank you!

Love that car. I’ve had mine a month and you’re definitely right about how you feel everything. It’s different from an auto! It’s a fun car to drive!!

That was quicker than what I expected (you getting another mopar waiting for your jailbreak)

  • @josemiguelperez-alvarez3854

That was just like the essence of what enjoying driving a car is all about. I like driving a manual. Had one for 6 years and miss it a lot.😎⚓️

Can't wait to see more of this vehicle. The shaker is my favorite challenger even though I bought a gt for awd because I live up north.

3 of my 4 cars are manuals. '72 Roadrunner. '99 Miata. .21 Challenger RT. Each one shifts differently. That's part of the fun of manuals, adapting to and perfecting the driving of each. Automatics just don't come close to the experience of "driving" a car like the manuals do. With mine I have a 4 speed, 5 speed and 6 speed. I admit that I still have to look at shifter for reverse 😊

Stock rims (Std. wheel and OE optional wheel) are 20"x9", and stock OE tires (Std. all season or optional Summer Performance are 245/45ZR20)...The 245 tires have got to go. These are too narrow to handle the torque of the 392 (6.4L) Hemi, specially with a manual trans. At a minimum, run 275 width tires (275/40/ZR20), and ideally on a 20"x9.5" (if maintaining ability to rotate). Or, Staggered Setup: could go with a 20x10 (possibly 10.5) on the rear with wider than a 275 (285, 295, 305), and run a 20x9 (or 20x9.5) up front with a 275/40/ZR20. Depending on "offset", it is possible to run a 20x11 rear with a 20x10 front, on a non-widebody Challenger.

Love your content OCMotivator! You motivated me to go see Nate at Napleton’s for my next Challenger. So, thank you for doing the research. As far as the 6-speed 392 shaker, I absolutely love it and think it’s a keeper. Reverting to stock badging would be very tasteful. I believe someone already hit the nail on the head in the comments below. You’ve got a hellcat/scat pack widebooty nose on it. Narrowbooty challengers don’t come with that nose. Not a bad thing though! As far as wheels/tires, IMHO don’t even bother with those 9x20 245’s. Not enough tire for the kind of power the 392 puts down, especially down low. Stock (superalloy, sai) forged slingshots 20x9.5 wearing some 275’s is a start and would look killer on that car. Keep up the great work and thank you!

Nice car! I have a 6-speed shaker myself. Someone definately changed out the front grill and bumper for a Hellcat grill and bumper. The only scat packs that have the hellcat front bumper and grill are on the wide body scat packs. You will need the bigger R/T emblem for the grill. The wide body scat packs R/T oem grill emblem is what you need. Also the Challenger Script emblem for the left side of the grill. For the rear spoiler, upgrade to the SRT performance spoiler. It is an option now on newer scat packs and hellcats. It looks more aggressive. Personally, I wouldn't go for the shaker riser kit. It looks a bit cheese in my opinion. Plus you want to keep it factory looking. Also, go with a 20 x 9.5 set of wheels with 275's all the way around. If you look at scat packs with the Dynamics package, it will have the 9.5 wide wheels with 275s. Enjoy!!

It’s crazy how some 30-40 years old don’t know how to drive stick shift the first car I learned to drive was a stick shift my dad had got me a 2004 Toyota mr2 spyder right when I was entering high school and he said if you learn how to drive stick shift you can drive anything but that being said stick shift is a whole lot of fun 🙌🏽🙌🏽
