    Leave half to a liter of water outside overnight. Avoid the fridge. It will be easier to drink that water in the morning and you won't damage your throat by drinking water directly from the fridge.

      I drink toilet water. It trains my intestines to always be then high alert and lubricates my butthole with a steady stream of violent diarrhea. Keep a container nearby to capture and re-attempt in case of vomiting.

      I tried leaving the water* outside but found the local foxes, stray cats and dogs, etc would always drink it... Therefore, I started leaving the water in a bottle next to my bed - so no flies, spiders, etc climbed in🙂😉

    I really like this simplified morning routine or ritual. Recently I have been going back to college classes and they are taking all in person. Since I didn't want to take more time practicing mobility or active stretching I really like to thank you guys for making this video. But honestly I also like to thank Art of Manliness for his tip in endorsing cold water first thing in the morning.

    Years ago, in a yoga class, the teacher mentioned that all the stretching and exercise you need for the day can be achieved by doing 10 sun salutations (in succession) every morning. Your morning stretch reminds me of this. I will work it into my morning routine.

    I can personally vouch for the mobility program. I purchased it a few months ago and have seen steady improvement in recovering from my own training and fixing some of the niggles I was dealing with prior to starting the program. Even if you are not into training it's worth while for feeling good/better on a day to day basis.

    Good and simple morning routine. im a believe that waking up in the morning just starts your day so much better, and this is coming from someone who wasn't a "morning person" nor do i feel great or spring out of bed when i still wake up every morning. It's about just practicing these every day. Eventually you will receive the benefits of doing these things every morning.

    This is great. I have NEVER lifted my arms up in a deep squat like that - really smart. I did find it difficult but I will keep doing it and watch it open! Thanks kindly for a great video!

      I started adding overhead reaches to my stretches and it has made a huge difference. Adds more of a complete body stretch and flexibility.

    Important note:
    You can bend your legs in downward dog as much as you like, but try to keep your back straight. This is a great exercise for stretching lower back. I had lower back pains, but since I started doing these stretches and supermans EVERY day - it went away. Not very quickly though, it took around 3 months, but it kept getting better, and nowadays I have almost zero lower back pain.
    Funny thing though, I was kind of experimenting with what feels good by myself and came almost to the same conclusion as in the video lol.

      If you have lower back stiffness in the morning, pull both of your knees to your chest and hold for 30 seconds before you get out of bed. This stretch will save you!

    Glad you mentioned skipping breakfast too. Definitely beneficial depending on your age and situation. People who are overweight should likely skip breakfast to continue to fast but if you're still young and in great shape, no need to, in my opinion. One size does not fit all of course. Great video.

    I like the overall approach. I've been drinking water for years first thing and have noticed the benefit to my day. when i don't drink it first thing, I notice the difference.     I have had two knee replacements and a series of health problems that have reduced my mobility and overall feelings of well-being. This simple plan looks like a great way for me to get back to as much flexibility and strength as I can gain at my age. (65) Thank's for a well done and inspiring video!     Your advices have led to the most effective exercises I have ever done (and most excruciating), but results speak for themselves. I did calisthenics and bodyweight exercises mostly, but I have found these extra tips of yours for these types of exercises to be far more effective and satisfying to me personally than any painful occasions before that in the gym. In the process I took a muscle gain plan from Nextlevel Diet, and without any additional supplements needed, my muscles started to grow massively over the last three months. Thank you for all the work you have done over the years.

    It seems that most of the people who saw this video do different things when they wake up and I was among them...I have followed the videos instructions for 2 weeks and nowadays I just smile proudly at how much better I feel...try it and you will remember me but if you are not going to do so at least dont downgrade it with negative comments...dont discourage people just because you dont want to change your daily routine!!

    I do a 5 minute stretch routine while lying in bed before getting up. It is amazing how much better I feel after that compared to when I just get up without doing it. Huge difference! Great channel by the way!
