    The rebound on the title bag looks too short. The spring looks better though. I wonder if you can put the title spring on the ringside setup. I think the only issue with the ringside bag is that the spring is a little stiff.

    1.) Where can i get the spinning reflex bar bag in the background of this video or a better version of it.
    2.) Where can i get the slowtime amazon reflex bag or a better version. I saw that you linked an alibaba link in the comments, but when i clicked it it didnt seem legit. Just need your confirmation that the link is fine, or a better performing reflex bag option instead.

    That bag Ryan Garcia uses has some kind of crazy industrial strength spring. If they would make a bag like that I think everyone would go buy one. It's ridiculously awesome at the action that Garcia gets out of the one he uses. The spring is off of something. I can't remember what you call that spring but it's crazy durable and fast.

    Do you think there's a modification to make the springs react quicker? Any ideas on that?

    • @csquaredboxing
      @csquaredboxing  Před 4 lety +4

      Nope, spring has to be made with a certain coil load for rebound together with the weight of the ball to give a faster rebound. Nothing you can really do to modify this spring

    • @Jpnhobi
      @Jpnhobi Před 4 lety

    • @jerrodlopes186
      @jerrodlopes186 Před 3 lety

      I'm sure the spring was engineered specifically as you say, but I'm certain if you slipped a screwtight dumbell collar over the spring thereby "shortening" the active portion of the spring, you will certainly get a faster and shorter rebound.

Should I invest in a free standing punching bag that has that similar base as the reflex bag in the background or reflex bag. Thoughts? Ok, so there aren’t anyone’s sold with flat bases that don’t need to be screwed? I don’t want any one that I need to fill with water. They’re selling one on Facebook, it has a flat base. I wanted to know if I needed to screw it into the floor.

    • @csquaredboxing
      @csquaredboxing  Před 3 lety +1

      Most either come with a flat base that needs to be mounted, or you can place weights over the base to hold it down. The other styles come with a tillable base for water or sand

    Aluminum rods are actually not cheaper. It’s a more expensive metal. The reason they use aluminum is because it’s lighter to reduce weight.

    Ring side is made for head and body movements. It’s more of a pro technique set up. You don’t want a stiff cobra bag. In my opinion.

      I have the original ringside Ryan used before his new custom model bag. It's awesome, but this new version from ringside looks nowhere near as good.
      Supposedly Ryan said that new model he had made will be coming to market. It looks like the one to get. Rrr! I'm frustrated on that wait though.
      That title looks better as far as reflex timing of these 2 but if you prefer what you see leaning towards ringside NEW version and you're happy that's all that matters as it's a personal experience. Enjoy

      Is there anyway you can track when Ryans coach's product will be released? The custom bag looks so much better than both of these and Id rather wait. I also live in the UK so it seems even harder to source, cant believe there arent more options for the UK market!

  • @DF-rj2zi
    @DF-rj2zi Před 4 lety +2

    TITLE: Great for combos and striking due to spring height, if your rhythm is Great than this can be very fun for just striking it, if your trying to get some slip combos than this is not for you
    RINGSIDE: Best in my opinion it's acts like a slip bag for those that actually know how to combo and retract punches back with a slips, Since It retracts back a little slower you can't just blindly punch it so you have to have a precise rhythm and combo for its movement.
