Thank you good review. I just bought the Everlast Elite free standing heavy bag which is basically the same product. I got it for $50 brand new on Marketplace. It normally sells for $179. I only bought it because it was $50 I don’t think it’s worth $179 but I think it worth $50. Bought it to punch Im an old guy, trying to get back in shape.

I hit too hard for my own good and my wrist are aching with or without gloves. I'm really looking at one of those aqua bags. It's just I'd have to get my peanut bag out and I love that thing 😞. Antifreeze purpose is to prevent water from freezing and it's not as corrosive to the engine blocks. I wonder though, who corrosive might it be to the aqua bag.

Would you prefer these, fighting fury or powerlock 2 for feedback/snap on bag work

Hey Carlo, thanks for the thorough review! We wanted to share some additional info about the bag fill: Our fill recommendations are based on the internal volume of our own Combat Corner 100lb bag (48 inches tall, 15 inches in diameter, totaling 8500 cubic inches). The Contender bag is indeed smaller (42 inches tall, 14 inches in diameter, totaling 6500 cubic inches) and measured externally, making its usable space even smaller. The Contender bag is at a minimum 31% smaller. You're right about Ringside using internal sandbags to get to 100 lbs when they sell this bag filled. This lets them sell a smaller, lower cost bag, but those sandbags can shift and create hard spots, potentially leading to injury. We avoid this practice in our filled bags, we only use textile or textile foam blends in our own bags. The shredded textile + foam fill you chose is the least dense and takes up the most space. Foam memory tends to bounce back after being compressed, so it's naturally softer than other options. Because of this less material is needed to fill the same dimensional volume as say our non foam blend fill. Over time, the bag will compress naturally, and you can add more fill as needed. Hand filling takes a bit more effort, but as you mentioned, it lets you get the exact feel you want-a huge benefit! Thanks again for the great review and your valuable insights!

I really want to get a pair of these but I consistently hear mixed opinions. I hear some ppl say they run very large, I hear others say they fit just right. I wear an 11 and got wide feet, I feel like they’d fit just fine but idk. Anyone else got any experience with the strike’s?

I’m Looking for the slimmest profile 16oz sparring glove I can find, any suggestions bro? These look pretty sleek, unfortunately the lace ups are sold out. You think the Velcro is solid and the same size? I was given the shiny title balloon gloves when I signed up to my boxing gym and they are massive. I’m Very new to boxing with a lot to learn (4 months) but I feel like my glove and thumb gets caught on everything while sparring and it’s quite painful as it seem to happen frequently. I’m 5’8 165 with small hands so a smaller profile glove that’s snug I feel will be more up my alley. I’ve been a sub to your channel since I started my journey and I love your channel man definitely very informative and your technique is top notch!!!! thanks in advance bro

Hi I'm around 65kg /143lbs , I already have a 16 oz glove but i feel like they have made me slow the past year (which I still will be using for sparring and training majority of the time),long time ago I used 12 and I felt really good to be fast, is it fine to buy a new 12 oz for pads or should I just go for 14 oz just to be safe?

Maybe a 25 or 35 pound Olympic weight plate would help with compacting the material into the bottom of the bag with a density consistency that you want
