Totally agree because he can't box
He's got the voice for it!
Hes got an awesome voice
I imagine this is wat God sounds like
You just posted this, and Amazon is almost sold out
I usually using glass bottle hanging with rope for punching so when people said punching target cannot hit back. I will say that my target hit back and quite hurt as well.
Is this real i can't tell?
@Silent Psykosis in fencing we use a tenis ball hung from a rope for thrust practice against a moving tarket.
@Silent Psykosis it makes a small moving target thats hard to predict, its definitely good precision training.
@@thisisbaxter1354 What is real ?
@@mrspeigle1 I know this comment is super old, but damn I thought I was the only one doing that. I have a soft ball on a resistance band hanging from the ceiling too practice hitting a moving target.
This reminds me of the spinning device that the Gladiators used in the training scene in the 1960's Spartacus with Kirk Douglas.
Dale of Kenaz Komics exactly what I thought hahaha
Robot sparing partners will be the death of us all.
Hobot Hickson Gracie by armbar
Well then, If one doesn't want to expire, don't spar with them....lol
Ever seen the twilight zone with the robot boxer
Tapping sensors failure ?
@I like Potatoes Haha
Hey Ramsey. A suggestion. You said WD-40 will get it going. WD-40 is a great lubricant, however it is a temporary application because of it's evaporative qualities. In addition to that, it is a strong solvent that will breakdown the lubricant that is already on there. If you want to lubricate the bar, you will either have to apply WD-40 somewhat regularly, or you could use any number of machine oils. Your standard sewing machine oil is great for most basic machine applications. I recommend that for a more long-lasting lubricant and satisfied training partner. WD-40 is great for if you want to clean the oil out and any potential dirt or debris in the oil, prior to reapplying fresh lubricant. Thanks for great content.
WD stands for water displacement. Not a great lubricant. White grease would be better.
The first person I've ever seen that actually looks good on this thing. Well done!
Thanks for this review, I was looking at adding this to my training routine but I was worries about it being able to take a full hit or kick. Good review.
Thanks for uploading video like this it will give us clear understanding on this products 👍
As. Always. Thank you for a review done by a true. Professional master
I have been looking at these types of spinning bars for a while but I've never had a chance to test one, I check in on your channel today and Shazam! you are doing a review on one. Thanks for posting, I might just buy one now.
Man forget mixed martial arts seek a career doing voice work or something because you have a soothing golden voice. Anyway shout out to Voto Studios Mexican Martial Arts.
Excellent video. Thanks for info and inspiration.
Thanks for the review. I made my own home made spinning bar attached to a double end bag setup because I was afraid to drop some money on this device. After this review,I’ll probably get it soon.
How is it treating you
That's pretty cool! I would definitely reposition the lower bag for shovels and bolt it down for kicks
Well done. Balanced and fair review
That looks like a decent piece of equipment. Thanks for the review!
I purchased both the medium czcams.com/users/postUgkxfh2XUOHWYHKQYOvSq2gZ6PyCmVkTFGWz and small speed bags from Meister. I'm very glad I got both as the workout is quite different from the two. The small is fantastic for getting your speed built up once familiar with your striking. The medium bag provides a considerable amount more resistance building more strength in your punches. I highly recommend both sizes. Some people have expressed concern over the latex bladder leaking down more frequently than the traditional rubber. I have not found this to be an issue at all.
gm ram man thank you the rhythm is coming back and motivation 💯👆🏿😎💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿🙏🏿✌🏾
You're a great fighter and teacher 👍
Please do more reviews. This was fantastic!
I literally just knocked up one of these with some pvc pipe and gaffa tape for my son's dojo and who has a video on the subject? Yep, Ramsey. A genuinely unending back catalogue of everything fighting related. Nice moves on the bags too
Facts you give a very scientific way of explaining. Very good. 👍🏿👏🏿👍🏿👏🏿 great work.
Very good video. What do you think about the reflex or Cobra bags? Are they are useful and fun to hit as the double end bag?
I thought he was another MMA talking head?.... But he has skills and cat reflexes....much respect
Absolute monster on the speedbag.
Great review man.
Hi ramsey, i'm from italy and i've started following you from a couple of week and I have a question for you.
I've done some medieval sword fighting (HEMA) now I have no time to continue that since is far away from my home.
Which martial art would you suggest me to do if I want to feel better and more focused but I'm not interested in the competitive part?
Thanks in advance for your answer
You just got yourself a new subscriber.
I'd love to see him do a review on the oculus vr boxing trainer thrill of the fight.
VR training works great. Thrill of the Fight. Try it Ramsey!
Thanks for the video
Your technic is perfect
I kinda like that low bag. I noticed it’s groin height for you , and we have a lot of groin strikes in Choy Li Fut. For me, it would be an excellent training tool.
It seems (observation) that liver shots seem to be more discussed recently - is that bent bag in this device supposed to be some sort of 'liver shot' practice bag or something? What mannequin 'punch bag' could simulate this? Would they need some 'hard elbow/arm' components to navigate around?
perhaps tying the device with 3-4 ropes would stop it tipping when kicking would work, would also give more obstacles for the workout. it could potentially stop you from ducking a certain way depending on position of the rope forcing a block instead giving you more to think about, it'd be good striking defence training specific to being cornered in ring or cage perhaps.
Hey Ramsey, I’ve heard there are a lot of martial artist with bad knees and hips. Specifically in teakwondo. What do you think is the best way to avoid this? Do you think they are just kicking incorrectly? Thanks!
Geez!!! You got some good moves!
My brother just showed me a video of a kid using a similar device. Was pretty cool. I too would like to get one but that also has a spinning bar at the lower end for practicing not just kicks, but defending kicks as well.
It seems to be a very interesting device ; do you know the name of the brand /shop who commercialized it ?
@@pierrewilliam7119 I don't know.
@@fireeaglefitnessmartialart935 thanks anyway!
Looking sharp Ramsey
Tnx for the upload bro! Regarding kicking the base: apply the same logic as you do for the top target; use precision, just tap it with 1% or less bro! ;::))
Very cool, any advice on where to buy or similar items
What do you think about the Mook Jung (Wing Chun wooden dummy)? Is it an effective training devise?
Nice video, thanks.
experimentation led to max weight in dummies tank: largest river stones that fit through hole plus sand plus water = max weight possible. the only way to add more weight is to use mercury and depleted uranium instead
Hello Ramsey Dewey, my name is Austin Wiebe. I train a very traditional style of Taekwondo which includes some old school self defence, small joint manipulation, joint locks etc. which is a style within itself. The setups for self defence are garbage but the moves do work if adapted properly.
I have found that the self defence when mixed with the competition style makes for a pretty well rounded martial art. My question is why don’t more Taekwondo schools practice the self defence aspect rather than just the competition style? Thank you for your time. Now get out there and train
Which would you recommend, this or the double end bag?
Ramsey, pls can you do a video on open guard for MMA?
I'm not terrible at BJJ and I can get to my feet without being hit in MMA sparring, if they're not holding around my ankle (my foot in their armpit, like a straight ankle lock).
And as soon as they want to close distance and throw my legs aside I'm struggling to reestablish my guard.
Any pointers or drills I could do to improve this part of my game would be awesome.
Many thanks
Ramsey, what if you fill the base with lead fishing sinkers?
Excellent video. Any tips for someone just getting into mma training ? What should be the main focus, strength training or cardio ?
Technique.
For beginners.
Strength training is kinda with the cardio training.
By that i mean you probably be lifting stuff (not the normal weights) and do a lot of 3D movement exercises with them.
The thing with any martial arts training. Focused Weight/strength training is like the last thing you should do.
Technique is the best thing you should learn after you been taught the basics. The cardio (and strength) training (aka functional training for a fighter) you will probably get the hang of it once you trained with mma coach.
Anyway To get really good stamina and muscle endurance is a priority in a fighter. So i say you need to get a hang of functional 3D training with a coach first.
Then comes the basic technique.
You should really try "Thrill of The Fight" on VR, for your robot sparring partner.
How do I adjust the level I’m so frustrated with mine, it’s the exact same but the 2 screw things don’t frckn do anything they just fall out and the steel pole falls all the way down they don’t even fit in the 2 black holes. Am I supposed to drill my own holes into the steel pole?
More reviews and tutorials!
Great video
Have you tried the title one that is similar? Price is about the same, wondering if anyone can compare?
This looks awesome 🙏 Man your voice is interesting you def should do some docus
What is docus?
@@RamseyDewey Documentaries, I think someone else mentioned it too. There's a channel called Weird History Food & the guy who does the short 10 min vids, his voice is super interesting along w the content & the way he talks & tells like a short story. That crossed my mind
I wonder if this is how the infamous Wing Chun dummy started out...
You have awesome equipment, Ramsey.
FILIP FIX TIGER thats what she said
@@vetlevelle840 lol
Oh dear,,,Somebody's just put a post underneath -'What's your opinion of HUNG GAR' ?...lol
Ramsey you are awesome
Hey Ramsey, what are your thoughts on box master striking towers? Would love to see you review one
I haven’t heard of it.
just go in for the liver shot down there on the lower bag on the side!!! u got this down pact Ram man!!! thats right counteract the movement and u can break down someone that don't know how to fight! and close quarter contact will help u can come in and attack the point side💯👆🏿✌🏾🙏🏿😎💪🏿
The mechanics to this device is fairly simple, and I guess effective, but it does leave a desire for something even more complete. In which I should use my designing, and engineering skills to build my own punching apparatus.
Do it.
You say it can be bolted into the ground: which I thought would have been the obvious choice. Would you like me to come round with my portable drill, masonary bit, hammer, spanner & anchor bolts and fix it for you - or do you think you can manage ?
I would have liked to see that girl at the beginning, in the background, complete her squat, Ramsey...what the hell, man?
Plot Twist: it’s a dude...
Isn’t the bottom bag for kicking? I think the padding on the pole is just to protect your shins.
Would this sill be weighted enough to stand if placed on carpet.
What brand of double end bag do you have? Great video.
All my double end bags are different Chinese brands with unpronounceable made up names.
I created a similar machine but mine had two arms with mits with a body , I created for counter attack, blocking and slipping but I like yours also
I would like to show my ideas on a similar product how can I get in touch
Sir I've been meaning to ask you this. I don't have access to sparring partners or rather I don't have time to get sign up for BJJ classes for a few months. What can I do to replace sparring. It's kind of messing with me mentally because I'm visualizing my self regressing. Getting slower duller. I know sounds crazy. Im not going to fight or preparing for a particular event. I just love how I feel when I spar because I know it's the only way to stay connected with your self and your lessons
Make some friends with the same interest as you.
Actually i could see more randomized motion without the water if you don't mind picking it back up when you get carried away. I noticed you had to scramble a little bit to dodge it.
great voice dude!
Is it possible to fill this type of products with cement instead of sand or water?, because I agree, this and the punching dummy and other water filled products fall if you punch/kick them hard (not that hard tho)
Probably, but I don’t think it would weigh much more than sand
does anyone have the guide or can tell me how to put it together?
Can you install it without putting on the bottom kicking bag
If the spinning bar had some wobble so it wasn't always on the same line that would help alot on the predictability
In that case, don’t fill the base and it will wobble
@@RamseyDewey but then you couldn't hard mount it for kicking
If it was spring mounted it could wobble in all directions and make it harder to time
Hello where do I find these devices to buy. !!
My question is, if you decided to ditch the base and bolt the pole to the floor would the pole be strong enough to absorb the shock or would it break off the mounting flange over time?
It’s solid steel. It would hold just fine.
you must use taichi force to prevent hit from opponents
Holy crap your good on the speed bag
Thanks

So it was my birthday a few weeks ago and I have 130 pounds to spend I’ve got weights pull up bar and I wanna get something for boxing but I don’t wanna get a basic bag but everything else is to expensive and I don’t wanna regret getting the double end bag
I want one of these so bad
Do they sell on Taobao, or will they have plans to? I'm living in China, and have had a pain using Amazon here.
Yes, you can find this on taobao.
What’s the other speed bag for?
You need to check out the title shot reflex stick
How's the lower bag for taking knees? It looks just a little too low when it's hanging fully down
Meh, I wouldn’t use it for that. The lower bag is awkward and not well thought out.
I read reviews that the ball/bag on top doesn’t stay on and will fall off/break just from repeated jabs. Let’s get straight down to the nitty gritty - will this break after a few weeks or will it last and consistently stand up to workout regimes?
It’s been in my gym seeing use from dozens of people a day for over a year and it’s still in good shape.
@@RamseyDewey my man, thanks for the reply. This seems like a better alternative to the overpriced spar bar.
Recommend for shorter people ? 12 yr old size
So can I ask why you had your hands dropped constantly, like I know you're really good but that just seems cocky and can get you knocked out. I am fairly new and could easily be missing something so can you please explain?
It’s a boxing technique called feinting and drawing. You put your head in a place that seems like an easy target for your opponent to hit so you know exactly where and when he will strike, so that you know exactly when and where to slip and counterstrike. It’s programming your opponent to react in a very specific way so you can dictate the fight on your own terms.
@@RamseyDewey thank you so much!!
As someone that works in the fitness equipment industry I'd suggest not using WD-40 on anything you want to keep spinning for a long time; instead pick up a bottle of 3 in 1 and put a few drops in and spin it down and around and you'll be set for the life of the product.
Anyine know where to get this bag its hasnt been on Amazon for a while lol
Looked very good.
Good movement! I can see myself buying and it not looking nearly as smooth
It is nice and fun!!
What Belt does this machine have?
Is that the goat Artem 🥊 let's go champ
"I highly recommend the Innolife Spinning Bar because it encourages you to practice HEAD MOVEMENT, HEAD MOVEMENT, HEAD MOVEMENT!" - Edmond Tarverdyan
The spin bar doesn't behave long term benefits because the speed of the spin can not be adjusted for advancement. Eventually the boxer will get use to the spin speed.
Mwahahahahaha!!! Make her miss!
@0:35 what kind of double end bag is that?
The cheapest Chinese double end bag money can buy!
This guy is probably the most bad ass mormon ballerina ex cage fighter on youtube.
Funny
What's the best training equipment to train for a street fight?
Either a sledgehammer, a jackhammer, or some kind of tractor mounted digging apparatus. Streets are hard, man.
