  • A pulled groin muscle (also known as a strained adductor muscle) is one of the most common leg injuries in sports. But it also happens to people that are NOT involved in sports.
It usually happens in people 40 years and younger…but it can happen to anyone in their 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and beyond.
Groin injuries are rarely ever long-term, but they do tend to come and go for years. And they are a sign of a deeper rooted problem 😬
In this video, Dr. David will share with you the symptoms and causes of a pulled groin muscle so you can be certain that is what you have.
He also talks about the common treatments you might hear about from healthcare professionals for an adductor muscle strain.

Thanks for this video. I have some hip osteoarthritis but also all the symtoms of a pulled groin muscle. The doctor says it's all my hip. I get pain all the way down to my knee and ankle sometimes. Getting up or in and out of cars can be incredibly painful. Could all this possibly just the hip? The doctor says I don't have a pulled groin although he only took and xray and not an MRI. Thanks!
