      In owners manual there is a mention about runing-in phase of the engine. It is crucial to observe these precautions during initial 960 km driven with vehicle : After starting dont race the engine but warm it up gradually. Avoid prolonged operations at a constant speed. Moving parts will break in better if you vary your speed. Avoid full throttle starts. Do not drive slowly with high gear. ( i would say that 1900-2000 rpm is the minimum for cruising) . Drive at moderate engines speeds... That is it. The most critical phase of running-in. It may still proceed til about 3000 km but it will definitely not harm the engine if you rev it a bit after that first 960 km. :) Always keep in mind that driving your car in high rpm until it reached optimum operating temperature is harmful. It takes about 10 minutes in summer, in winter when it is freezing it may take as much as 20 mins. If your car is equipped with engine temperature gauge you can say engine is fully warmed up a few minutes after it got stable in the middle. Enjoy your new car!

      for 1.2 litre engine usually 20 km/l depending of driving type

    • @lukaj2224
      @lukaj2224 Před rokem +1

      @@di6214 more like 17km per 1L. One full tank (37L) is enough for about 600-650km of city driving and around 15km per 1L on highway. On highway you will get autonomy close as 550km with one gas tank.

      @@lukaj2224You cannot answer a question of cunsumption by stating how far per litre you are able to travel. You have to answer a question of consumtion by stating WHAT the cunsumption is i.e. how much fuel is consumed for a set distance, that's why kilometres/litre is not used and instead litres/100 kilomotres utilised in everythingthing from motocycles , cars to heavy trucks. Reason 2 KM/L is not linear. A car getting 10 km/l is NOT consuming half as much as one getting 5 km/litre.

      Yeah i saw those too. But those were apparently the ones that are made in India (thing it was india, might've been some latin countries). They have lower safety standards than in most other places. I don't remember whether it scored a 3 or a 4 star in other countries

      I never understand teh obsession with NCAP ratings. They are useless when a lorry driver texting and driving rear ends you at 90 km/h . . .
