I don't understand what is the benefit of having the EU long term residence card and moving to another country, if the mobility process looks pretty much the same as if I hadn't had a EU card 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well if you mean temporary residence, then you are there legally and can stay between 3 months and 5 years. You can enjoy the social welfare of the host country.
If you stay longer than 5 years, you can get the permanent residence which means that you are basically almost like the citizen of the host country without conditions, as long as you are not absent more than 2 consecutive years.

Hello Fardeen, Doing a great job. Can you please confirm that a Hungarian Investor temporary resident permit also falls in this category ? Can one stay in Germany for more than 3 months if one has the Hungarian investor temporary resident permit, and if yes, then is there a timeline one needs to follow e.g; the temp. resident permit needs to be 1-2 years old etc ? What is the case with Malta permanent resident permit - which one gets through donation and the Maltese residency programme ?

You can, unfortunately, not come for working in Germany with this type of residence permit, which you currently have. Try to get a soggiornante di lungo periodo, so that you can come for working in this country. In fact, you must either have an EU Permanent Residence Permit or an EU citizenship so that you can come from another EU country for working and living in Germany.

Actually, in order to do a vocational training or study in Germany, your livelihood must be insured. Because mainly the vocational training institutions do not pay enough, therefore, you must either work beside your vocational training or you should have a block account in a bank in Germany with enough money in it for your livelihood in Germany.
The same is true for Studying in Germany, for that as well, you should have a block account. The expendure for one year, which should be in your bank account is 10332 Euro. If you get salary from your vocational training or do a Minijob beside your study that can also be counted as part of this money.

Hi, for one year it is limited for one work, based on which you have got this residence permit. After one year of working with it, you can change the company. Even during the first year it is possible to change the company. However, you will not have much time to change the work during the first year. Because after leaving the first work, you have 3 months left to apply for a new residence permit for your new employment contract and you don't know if you can get the residence permit for it. So, it is recommendable to stay with the first employer at least for one year.

No, if you have a “Carta di Soggiorno per Familiare di Cittadino Comunitario”, unfortunately, you are not allowed to live in Germany for more than 3 months and you ar also not allowed to work with it in Germany. After you get an EU permanent residence permit, you will be allowed to work in Germany.
