Having a kid and raising a family really can take the anger out of you. Somone should take the chance to research this and call it the god of war/Kratos effect once they've verified this theory with a large enough sample size.

This game's demo was fun, it's looking like it's gonna be pretty good, so I fully support Pat the family man getting that bag. I never even played FF12, but after messing with the tactics menu a bit, THE GAMBIT SYSTEM IS BACK BABY!
I'll say this...I'm more of an FE/turn based game type of guy, but I think this'll be the first RTS game that I'll actually enjoy playing. There are still some elements of the demo that were a bit annoying, but I wasn't as bored as I was when I was playing Halo Wars which was just make a bunch of units and send them out to complete an objective task.
It would have helped if they also released it on PC. There's *no* reason the PC should have been skipped over when this is out for the comparatively underpowered Switch(which this runs on pretty damn well) and the virtually a PC already Xbox Series X/S. Instead they're throwing money away basically.
Being able to configure unit tactics to that level of detail sound really cool! I can't wait for the *PC* version of Unicorn Overlord to come soon ...maybe ...probably ...I hope
Vanillaware astounds me with the quality, art, and versatility when it come to different gameplay styles. Their a small developer of only 49 employees and definitely deserve more name recognition with the clear amount of hard work and passion when designing their games.
I played the demo, and I didn't know you could specify what targets to prioritize for your attacks and heals. I completed as much as I could outside of the mercenary and the dark paladin liberation areas, lol. All in all, I did enjoy my time with the demo and am considering buying the game

probably just misinformed, there's a lot of complete nonsense being said about this game on twitter. but i know people who speak both japanese and english and they're very confident the game has been significantly changed for the english market. characters have been given entirely new personalities, they speak in a fake archaic olde englishe tone that doesn't exist in the japanese (theyre not using formal or archaic japanese, so its not an attempt to copy the original tone, its changing it), they quip and insult and spit barbs at each other when they're being extremely respectful and understanding in the original script, etc.
you should learn Japanese anyway though so you can see how small of an issue this all is :) not that hard, and then you can go with whichever you prefer!
