About the Show

'She's a hyper dog' ....... SHE'S A PUPPY. Some people shouldn't have pets.
Absolutely! I knew something wasn't right when every dog they get, does the same exact things..

Dorits story contradicts itself constantly.
My dog bit me twice and bit my dad twice before.We love him but he could be difficult to handle with when he was little. He would be so aggressive when he saw people and other dogs on the street. My mom decided to give him away. We had two dogs and adopted a dog before. They are far more obedient and “sweet”. In the end we decided to keep raising him and now he is two years old! He is more comfortable with people now. I understand that if someone never had a dog before and having a little less obedient dog would be tough for them. But Dorit did not handle this situation in the best way. She should bring it back to Lisa.

the *breed* of dog is very important when concidering getting one, Especially if you have smaller children..(LVP wouldn't give Dorit a dog that's not kid friendly, yet the breed hyper) look what happened when the movie 101 Dalmatians came out in theaters.. Dalmatians, not exactly the most kid friendly dogs, yet everyone ran out and got their kids one..
and it ended badly.
Ive had dogs most my life, several different breeds of large dogs, I was actually bit by my chow as a teen, bc he was upset that he had to go in the den while the kitchen floor was being washed .. I came home from school saw Tiang in the den, I said hi and petted him, like always, next thing I know I'm in the corner w/ a dog bite puncture in my thigh 3/4 " deep.. I almost needed stitches. Never did I ever, ever expect that to happen.. ever! and he wasn't even a puppy.. We used to roll around on the floor, use him as a pillow, do *everything* together..
but, they are temperamental dogs by nature..
All dogs need some kind of training from day 1 even the littlest bit, depending on breed, they're all different by nature..
Some dogs are being cross bred, that shouldn't be! That certainly makes it more difficult as well.

This is a classic example of bad irresponsible owners not bad dogs! Dorit spoiled and obviously didn't train Maddie so she got jealous and bit the kids and Dorit got rid. Then she got Lucy and did the exact same thing again! Her lengthy explanation is just bullshit excuses to try and come out of this looking good! At the end of the day she should have returned the dog to LVP and said she can't look after her and no one would have judged her for doing that because that was the decent and responsible thing to do. Dogs aren't cuddly toys or fashion accessories they are living creatures that need just as much care and attention as children do and if you can't provide it you shouldn't have one! I would love a dog but my place is too small and I work long hours it wouldn't be fair on the poor animal therefore I don't own a dog.

Teddi, Kyle, and Lisa Rinna. Teddi set it up to get back at Dorit for the previous season, Kyle brought it to Lisa Rinna knowing she hates LVP, Rinna spun the story that LVP set Kyle and Teddi up to finally get back at her for the whole Munchausen thing with Yolanda.
Nobody outside of LVP and Dorit should have known this story. If LVP didn’t want it out she would have made sure her staff wasn’t running their mouth! LVP wanted to make Dorit look bad bc she was upset about it all! LVP doesn’t let things go, she’s passive aggressive! If you made her feel a way, she is absolutely coming for you! 🤷🏾♀️

It could be because dorit says she told Lisa about giving the dog away and she wasn't angry then the dog ended up in a shelter so they think Lisa is angry about that then she turned on dorit. That may have been the issue. Then because Lisa denied she leaked the story they got angry she wouldn't admit it but would have forgiven her had she admitted it. They were harsh to her but lvp had been accused of leaking stories before

Lisa L. I have had crazy dogs lol all my life. Bit me first day we had him. I was 6. Lol. But wow When my kids were born. He would protect those twins babies at all cost.
But lol 14 years later when my daughter was 11. We got a small dog. I tried for months. Got help etc. But we had to pass him to someone else I love animals. But. Your children come first. No matter what. He’s a farm dog now and is sooooo loved

Out of touch with reality Lisa. That dog was never in danger or traumatized. Due to your chip program, your center knew within 1 hour where she was, and that she was fine and come get her. Ratings have gone down since she left and they are asking her to come back. They really should remove Dorit. But I think Lisa also wanted to leave anyways, she is super successfull even without RH right now. Viewers switch over to Vanderpump Rules instead even if its just tiny glimpses of LVP every now and then you still get to see her at least.

Soooooo, basically Lisa was going to let her slide on breaking contract until she found out the dog was in a shelter. If they euthanize dogs, no matter how few, then it’s reasonable to call it a kill shelter.
Every shelter is a kill shelter. Every vet office is a kill shelter. Sometimes sick or aggressive dogs need to be put down. If a dog has cancer and is terribly in pain do we force it to live? What quality of life is that?
Let's keep it 100; Dorit was embarrassed about having to return dog #2.
So to avoid having to answer to Lisa and her squad of merry-men, she gave that dog to someone who would in-turn take it to a shelter.

Dorit's children are very young, and they are the true victims in this matter. If a dog bit my child, I would not hesitate to immediately get rid of it by whatever means necessary to protect my child during said attack. And, if I were Dorit, I would not get another dog. Animals were never intended to be 'pets' for humans. They were put here to serve the needs of humans, not the other way around.

I was actually just thinking.. with all these people with all this money in their endless bank accounts, and the money just keeps coming in, and all these charities that have been operational for decades now, how is it people are still starving amd goimg without the simplest of basic needs, their birth right.

Animals have no voice, and cannot advocate for themselves, therefore someone has to.
And knowing to research a dog's breed to know their needs, temperment is vital in making a life decision as such, especially when it comes to them being around children, and being conscientious of the dogs needs, temperament to also protect the children. Puppies do what puppies do, it's inevitable.. as human do what we do, bc there are reasons in which living beings Humans, and animals respond to things, the way that we do..
That's why they need to know atleast the basics of proper care, and training of the breed.
To not know a puppies who gets over excited and stimulated, who also teethes, could possibly get over anxious or excited..
or even defend itself..
Remember we Dont know every detail of the story behind this puppy.. some. Children unknowingly do things they don't know that can aggravate and/or hurt animals, and dogs like humans can only take so much, but animals cannot articulate their needs, as humans can.
So it's not about thinking more of animals, than children at all.
The point is a life, is a life.
So to be that frustrated people are helping save/defend voiceless animals who cannot advocate for themselves, while others focus on advocating for humans starving, is actually a good thing, as animals being loving beings starve, also..
We need more people to get involved in all aspects of suffering in the world, and stop the powers that be that prevent the solution of world hunger etc from happening.
Not just advocate for humans, we , along with animals are GODs creation. (Notice all these organizations to help these 3rd world countries, that have been operational for over half a century have yet to solve the problem.. why and how is that ??)
Anyway, it's knowing the possibilities of the breed , and what's best for a puppy is how to prevent problems as such this. But in this case the breed is fine with children, so that's clearly not the problem, so there's more factors that led up to this obviously.
Know, I've been bitten as a child and had a puncture wound, so deep any deeper I would have needed stiches, and ive been relentlessly chased by a neighbors rabid dog through the neighborhood as a young child.. all unsolicited.
So i get it, trust!
The 101 Dalmatians fiasco, speaks volumes, and drives my point straight home!
Everyone wanted to get their child a Dalmatian for their child bc their child wanted one, yet didn't think to research the breed, and there was alot of harm done, bc they wanted to make their child happy.. which not what was I'm the best interest of the family or even the dog . . When both are equally as important.
Continue to concentrate on what you are doing to save these starving children in the world, and let others continue doing good in other areas of the world..

When my daughter was a toddler I had a small dog and he tried to bite my daughter and he had to go point blank period. No dog will never be as important as a child that I created. I had a rescue dog already before my son was born, a lab mix. He was very gentle and patient with the baby, I trusted him 100%. He lived to be 14. RIP Blackie. :'(

Depends what kind of dog it is. Some breeds are clingy to one person (which chihuahuas are) some are bad with kids in general (which chihuahuas also are) Good ones for kids are ones like Collies and Golden Retrievers. Bigger dogs in general tend to be better with kids but then the risk of injury if they do end up “nipping” is greater. But yeah I do agree that it’s best not to get a new dog when children are under 5. It seems to work out better when the dog is already in the house when the baby comes.
Per the contract the dog should have been returned to Lisa's Rescue and this would not have happened.

Okay, so a few holes in this story:
1. If you adopt a pet from an agency, you always have to sign a contract. I've adopted three gorgeous rescues and always had to sign and even list a vet where I would take the cat within two weeks of adoption for their wellness check. I would imagine Lisa has way more of these clauses than the local shelters so bullshit on her saying that she didn't sign a contract or doesn't think she signed one. You did, you just didn't pay attention.
2. LVP probably didn't care about the rehoming as long as the dog was being taken care of. Dorit said she was in a good home, so all is well. The problem comes to play when the dog ends up in the kill shelter because Dorit signed responsibility for that dog. This is why she should have brought the puppy back to VP Dogs and have the new person sign the new adoption papers so that SHE would be held responsible for the dog, not Dorit.
Dorit is 100% at the wrong here. I do believe it was a mistake and not intentional, but since she signed the contract, she is legally responsible for what happened. In the words of Rinna, OWN IT, DORIT!

When Lisa gets to the part about Teddy, that's when she gets exasperated and cuts off her answer. I believe that's because the story was hers up til that part and her answer was already sewn up but that when it got to the point that Teddy was involved, she wasn't confident about her spin on that one. Plus, she was concerned from the blowback from Teddy AND how close Teddy is to Kyle, she didn't want to engage in all that personal mess and possible confrontations.
