It always seems weird to me, when you get a group of women that scream they are strong independent women and are equal to men, but then say "how dare a man get involved. He shouldnt say those things to us because he is a man". he is very calm but they tried doing that manipulative thing of trying to make him look threatening. Just cause he dared call them out. Not one split second was he in any way threatening or even condescending. he called them out like he would call out any guy. I think it was totally wrong for them to be talking that way within earshot of Denise's kids, but I think they have a valid point in wanting to know what her agenda was in making a big deal about it. Denise opened the can when she decided to reprimand them unnecessarily with an exaggerated story of how her daughter came to her about it and is 'scarred for life'. Doesn't Denise realize everyone will see how it really went down when it airs? Also, is she really so naive to think her daughters don't watch the show with their friends? I imagine they are more mortified by their Mom's past comments and actions.

In past episodes.......P.K. and Ken were way tougher on the women when it came to defending their wives. Aaron was just defending Denise and he was way more chill about it.

That's true. Although to be fair the older children were not shocked or offended rather than amused. Denise could have let the ladies know that as it was the truth while still making her point that she would rather they didn't hear those kinds of things as their mother. I think they would have been more receptive to her point had she not suggested her teenagers were in some way upset or hurt by the conversation.
Sometimes just putting things differently can make all the difference to a person's reaction to it. I found it rather telling that she said everything BUT her children's reaction. That information is completely relevant if not crucial to the discussion. As it was the only information deliberately left out by Denise, it does suggest Denise had a reason to leave it out. We saw it on camera and clearly the reason was because the kids really didn't care about what they heard meaning the ladies didn't go too far. That isn't to suggest Denise doesn't have the right to ask them to be careful about what they MIGHT say in case harmless talk does get too adult, just in this case luckily it didn't.
I agree the women felt insecure but I have to say Denise helped instill that feeling. It need not have led to that. Again this is just from what I observed. I dont think anyone us right or wrong, I feel things were just communicated inefficiently.
