I'm confused how Tom is incompetent to stand trial but according to Erika he's competent enough to go after people legally that question his health. Make it make sense.
Because this season was filmed last year and part of this year. Last year, he was perfectly fine and was able to stand trial. He wasn't declared competent until this year. BIG DIFFERENCE. My mom started out with Dementia and now has full blown Alzheimer's, one's memory can go down hill very quickly.

However, he has been proven to 'act' in order to get his way and manipulate people, by playing the nice, humble guy in the past. He admitted being extra nice and affable with his clients in order to earn their trust. This therefore might lend to the theory that he is acting ill in order to avoid prison. So many elderly criminals have done this.

The most disgusting thing about this episode besides Erika’s behaviour was Kyle gaslighting Sutton over a situation she instigated, then Sutton apologising to her afterwards. Kyle is horrible.

tbh i thought this at first too about kyle and don’t really care for her…but the more i thought about it the more i kind of identified w/ how annoying it is when you have a friend who’s constantly talking to you about their issues with another friend in your friend group instead of actually talking to the person they have a problem with directly. like i’ve had this happen w/ friends before where i’m like omg, i’m tired of hearing you complain to me about this friend and saying you want to confront them but never doing it and just talking to me about it instead. i like sutton, but it seems like all she ever talks about is erika and i feel like it probably gets annoying.
