I'm a old Rem 870 & Win 12 guy. Bought this same Nova today that was on sale at a local store. Came directly home and shot a afternoon of skeet with it. GREAT shotgun IMO. Slick action, good balance and easy operation. I'm a "steel & walnut" gun guy, but this Benelli is a good shooting gun. Great value gun in the same price range with a lot of junk guns for sure. For the price, its a steal for sure!
I just looking at the snow! We have been hitting 100* days already and here I am looking at you snow thinking I just want to lay in it. Oh, and I picked up the Nova yesterday at Gebo’s for $399 & still got 5% off that. Benelli doesn’t make trash so I figured a it would be a good bet. Now, to go forth & slay. 🤣👍🏻🇺🇸
Anyone used this for small game? Just got out of the military and looking to get back into hunting. Want something i can use for Pheasant, Squirrel, Rabbit
Thank you for your service sir. For squirrel and rabbit it’s a bit of overkill. I’d get you a good pellet gun for small game like that but for pheasant, dove, and duck this gun is great!
Ya I feel that. I shoot squirrels all the time with a pellet gun, the ammo is cheap and it’s a whole lotta fun. Save the shotgun for birds and it’ll save you some money in the long run!

Yeah they are a very well made shotgun for sure
I have a Citori and bought the supernova for for bad weather clays and turkeys. Now i prefer blasting clays with the supernova 😅

Excellent choice! Thanks for the review buddy.
Great gun. Love my nova
I’m glad! I’ve used it a lot and not a single issue
I got a barely used one for $300 and couldn't be happier.
Glad you like it.
I thought only Super Novas were 3 1/2?
Do I store the nova with the action open to release the tension or do I store it with the action closed?
It doesn’t matter either way. It’s all preference
Action open means the hammer is resting in the cocked position….if that’s what you are trying to avoid.
I juuuuust bought one !!!
Awesome, you’ll love it
I've owned a nova for several years now. I like the gun but that hollow stock with some 3-1\2 turkey loads kill on both ends of the gun haha.
I agree those 3 1/2’s can be brutal
They make a Recoil Reducer Mercury one comes as a kit from bernelli
I have the nova, supernova and an m4 and I don't think the super is worth the extra money and weight unless you have to have the pistol grip.
Yeah I definitely agree with you
Does this come with a spot to mount a sling
Yes that comes stock

@@andrewnewman9591 thank you. Wish i could have done more hunting in colorado but it got expensive!

I would’ve spent the extra money and purchased a supernova
Everyone certainly has their own preferences
Its not a cheap gun . An Escort is a lot cheaper but not quality like a Berneli.
