- If anyone saw my wheel video on the NA, you KNOW I'm picky. I don't think I could have gone with a nicer looking wheel for Too Soon Junior, I'm loving the bronze on green! If you like these wheels, check them out for yourself at www.flyinmiata.com !

1 month without you Greg feels like a decade
He speak the true true.
The induction noise is really nice
Unpopular opinion: too soon junior is my favorite project on the channel.
Agreed
I rly like it but that's cuz I like seeing him work with the me442
agreed
Agreed as well
That side shot really shows how much miata suspension cambers in under load
Great vid! So glad you like the wheels, they look great on your NB!
Aight screw studying for my math test next period Miata Dad is back!
Yay!!! Greg's back... Double-Yay!!! for the NB getting some love!
I love Greg he is undeniably underrated.
Let’s gooo, NB content 🔥
Lets give NBs some love!!
So glad to see you back ❤️
Miata dad went to get cigarettes and came back with wheels and ties.
the nb looks so much fun to rip on and bang gears. sounds good dude and the wheels are so fresh
I have always loved the 6UL wheels from 949 Racing, but these are making me rethink that love. Excellent video, and beautiful NB!
This video had AAAAAAALLLLLLLLL the good stuff in it. thanks greg!
We need weekly car passion videos!!! This month waiting time kills me!
Awesome video though been looking at these wheels
Oooooh! Finally! I love the NB-series!
Perfect timing, I just picked up some buddy club 15s with semi slicks to go with this week.
Sits perfect , excellent wheel and tyre combo
I love when Craig posts new videos
Just noticed and love that Flying Miata put the ft/lbs on the side of the lugs - nice touch. Helpful for those of us too lazy to look that up.
Great colour combo.
Let’s go! It’s not Monday so happy Miata Thursday boys. So excited for this content and I’m super stoked to see a Miata ingest some spicy air 😂 keep up the good work Greg!!!
Miata Monday, on a Thursday?!? Heck yes! Been a long month without you senior Greg!
Good tire choise, I am on my second set of NS2R's. most of my friends run them too and some have experimented with federal 595 and yokohama Advan semislicks, but most of them returned to Nankangs tires just because of the quality for the money. There's also a NS2 (so without the R). It's the more "dailyable" brother. Although 1 daily mine even through the winter.
Love to see 2soon junior getting a makeover and excited for the Nitrous. Keep it up man :)
Perfect wheels with that color Miata
that thing looks SICK with that wheel/tire setup
Yahh! You're back 😊
Welcome back dude! Jr’s lookin good.
I could listen to that exhaust note all day.
awesome video and channel!
I got 17x8 FM Kogekis and FM lugnuts for my NC too. Great quality and great price, and they only weight 15.6 lb.
I'm putting this engine in my NA so hyped for more videos on this!
Love it!
Looking forward to seeing you pop the tops off some pistons in this thing!
Sounds nasty!!! I have an NB im trying to get running for the season!! Im pumped!
Great video. Love the wheels
Welcome back; been checking the channel everyday for a upload 🤣🤣🤣
I recently acquired a jdm NB, and have been following the channel closely for tips on making most power out of it.
Currently looking into the me442 vs haltech elite 1000.
Would you mind sharing an overview of the features of the mr442, and possibly dive into the accelerometer and gyroscope, as those do not exist on the haltech.
Thanks in advance
Great highlight flashes of some of your best past work. I still run those stock rims on my 2001. They are a lot shinier though. Like the new rims you bolted up way better though.
those wheels are awesome! ...gotta love "flyin miata"
The tan truck at 6:03 slowly creeping up even though Greg is WOT loll that is the Miata life
Just put some FM Kogeki 15x8s on my NB as well. Huge amount of extra smiles
Nice!
Man i can’t wait until this car gets to the level of your main car🤘🤘🤘
Finally new video!
awesome look dad and 2sj is looking like you are enjoying the heck outta the stock power to much , winding them gears out lol jk na but looking good dad and cant weight for more content ... hope to see u back regular posting again ... peace n love pops stay rad and stay safe l8r
Sounds like it's on throttle bodies 😎
BEASTTT
I have the same wheels from FM! but for the NA. Its my first pair of wheels and was debating over rfps1 or Fm, really happy with Fm!
Wheels are sick!!!! I will own a bronze set of wheels one day!
Looking gooooood 👀😎😎
Daaddd? Is that you?
Been too long w/o an upload Greg, can't wait for some new spirited canyon driving uploads.
Missed you!
I recognize that on-ramp. It’s right before you get to the moon. Heading back to earth
Good video creeg
Kinda liked the green color on that car.. btw, ur wheels looked perfect(preferance)... really liked them.. good size tire for 9.0”
love u miata dad
Whoa, can't believe your sick drifting car control! How have you not done a Miata drift build??
Wheel size, that is..😂 Always good vibes here
Good color combo
missed you greg
Awesome video. I think several of us want to see a camera get tagged in an action shot. It's bad ass to see another build from stock to remind us that it can be done.
We are matching. Red Turbo NA Miatas. And green n/a NBs
Damn... Those on ramps are mighty familiar haha
Can't wait to see the nitrous vids! Why does this car sound so good?
Engine bay mic, squaretop, DIY tubular intake, exhintake cam. It's pretty amplified in the video, but even in person you get a bunch of induction noise in the cabin with the open intake
I just got my kogeki 15x 8 with azenis rt660 225 45 zr15 got to wait for it to warm up before I can put them on though. there in bronze
Gregs sideproject tsj has more power and better upgrades than my main project NA😅. And a great color combo🤙
My eyes are set on these or the konig freeforms in bronze. My nb2 is also emerald mica. Looks soooooo good.
900 years... finally a video...
I’m dying over here with the lack of videos being put out on the channel. Save my sorrow Greg!
if i have 16x9 wheels what size tire would i need to get to have a similar setup? great video
I still want to get some retrofit headlights on that NB so bad
Update to my misfiring in boost: I changed the coil dwell from 4 Ms down to 3 and then 2 Ms and that seems to fix the issue until the car warms up for a while. Do I have bad coils? I'm on ls2s and my car misfired on stock could as well. It usually occurs around 4000 rpm under full throttle
Looks just like my old green NB on gold ish 15x9s lol
Seeing Creig enjoy his Miata while mine is on the stands :(
6ULs 9´s ET36 inside barell edge rubbed on lower side of front lower control arm, solved with 3mm spacer
Craig push down on the breaker bar to break the lugs loose, save your back
Is it stock exhaust?? Bc I have the exact same nb except yours sounds way better
What about the bolt on only dino day? Last I remember it was cut short by low compression. Was the case ever closed?
Just got new rims for my miata and thinking of a tire choise in 195/50r15 (can't change stock dimension here) Heard nankang are really sketchy in rain for dailying, are Yokohama ad08r any a good choise for a miata ?
Definitely got some Quinn vibes from that highway on-ramp shot 👀
Quinn has always been big inspiration!
How hard is to drift on a stock NA nb? also, does the Torsen play any difference in this?
You have a lot of experience. I'm looking at getting 15x9.5 +29 for my NB and running Ventus RS4's in 245/40. Will I need more than coilovers and a fender roll? What about 225/40's? Thank you!
What are those tyres like In the rain?
I may have missed a video, is that the stock exhaust and intake? Sounds awesome
In this video it has stock exhaust, intake is a DIY 2.5" with K&N filter, squaretop intake manifold, exhintake cam; and also there's a mic in the engine bay. But, even inside the car you hear a ton of induction noise and it's excellent.
Must gave missed the excam switch dyno episode, how much power did it make?
It must feel so slow getting into an almost stock 1.8 after being in such a high power one haha
I’m here dad
Hey idk if you would care to help me out on something or if you could, but I’m looking to use a tdo4L turbo for my nb Miata and the manifolds and down pipes I’m looking at are for a tdo4. do you know what the difference is and are the input and output flanges the same on each?
How did it get Torsten? Did you swap gearbox and diff?
So I have Advanti Storms, 15x8 35mm offset and the widest I can fit on my car without rolled fenders is 205. I have 205/50/15 Potenza RE71s and they are really close to touching. Your car doesn't seem very low.
My ride height is about 12.5in in the rear and about 12in in the front. I don't think there's anyway I'm squeezing 225s on there without rolling the fenders.
Missed your content, glad you're back!
Man I've been eyeballing the bronze 15x8 Kokegi's since they came out, but I didn't have a Miata yet. Now I finally have a Miata, but I'm gonna wait untill I have more money to throw around.
I love the bronze, but it doesnt look right with a red miata. So I'm waiting to get gunmetal grey
@@XxSavageBearxX I have a Montego Blue so I think bronze would look great. Then again I'm biased because I was looking at getting bronze wheels regardless of what color I got my Miata lol. Except yellow, bronze wheels look weird on yellow.
@@miatamike93 noooo yellow and bronze is funky but it works lol
@@miatamike93 noooo yellow and bronze is funky but it works lol
@@XxSavageBearxX Its definitely funky lol.
I'm about to slap Hyper Silver JR12 9x16 ET20 with 215/40R16 tires onto "Miazda". It's a silver 99 1.8 NB and i think i will go with 2° negativ in the front and like 1.5° negative in the back. For the lowering: if you look straight onto the wheels, there should ne a 1/5 inch (5mm) space between the upper end of the tire and the body of the car. Should work if i just roll the fenders or do you think i also need to pull them?
I have a 2005 MSM and wanted to put the same wheels on, do I still need smaller coils or can I run them stock?
Wait wait wait. What is that? That digital gauge in the cluster where oil pressure usually is. I need it, please more info on that?
I have a 1991 miata a little under 200k miles and has developed a pretty severe rod knock. My dad is a master mechanic so we will be doing all the work (other then machining the block) at home. Our biggest issue right now is that no one has inventory for a stock rebuild for the 1.6. Since this is my first rebuild my dad wants us to keep the original 1.6 in the miata instead of swapping to a 1.8 or getting a working 1.6. Is there anywhere or websites you know of that would have stock rebuild supplies or will we have to shell out more for custom bottom end internals?
i love the intake noise on the NB, do you have a mic inside the engine bay?
Yep!
Knowing him there's a go-pro in the cone filter itself, sounds awesome
What is the stock wheel offset in the miata ?
Hi Greg!
I have a question regarding fitment. Recently I have been looking around for a new set of wheels as the previous owner put on a set of Barracuda 17x7.5 which weigh in at ~12kg a piece... (At the time that I bought the car i wasn't aware of the effects of unsprung weight).
Many websites state that the lowest offset you can go without rolling your fenders is 35-38mm. However the width of the wheel makes a whole lot of difference. As you put on 9 inch wide wheels and still cleared the bumpers! Would 15x7s with an offset of 10 look similar and also clear the bumpers?
yes, they will stick out the same way, only bigger clearance to the coil
My nb2 got walked by a v6 accord :D
Sadness and motivation, all in 10 seconds or less
