    #6 is a shitshow start to finish. Golf is overtkaing then slows down and moves back in, focus is up the arse of the estate from the get go for no reason, the brake checking or slowing down with the gears or whatever the estate did, the lorry not letting a clearly confused/daft driver back in....awful driving all round

      This is right near where I live, and this section of simple, straight road with a single simple on ramp, people just cannot fathom how to drive properly. Everybody slows down because it's uphill and they aren't paying attention, every driver joining the road has never built up enough speed. Drives me absolutely bonkers.

    • @Enginesetc
      @Enginesetc Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@rotariesarecool it's crazy isn't it to see how something that is essentially still just a road, can cause people to drive terribly. I see it occasionally and wonder how people struggle with the same thing they've been driving down fine elsewhere? Baffling

      @@rotariesarecoolthe drive could be having a medical or mechanical issue.
      You can see the indicators flashing weirdly which to me seems to show an electrical issue and then the massive puff of black smoke maybe shows they bump started the car.
      The cammer can see what's happening and decides to go down the inside - not a good move.
      And the focus is following so closely that it's lethal

      Tbh it looks like the estate car was having mechanical troubles. The engine could have been cutting out or losing power intermittently which would explain the speed fluctuations.

    Final clip is the southbound approach to the Black Cat roundabout on the A1. The tipper is joining the RH lane, because that is the only lane you can use to turn right for the A421, and this is literally the first point where you find that out. Not everyone drives the same route every day, the cammer is being an arse.

    • @joncurtis199
      @joncurtis199 Před 2 měsíci

      @@waltersobchak1719 I reckon the driver was trying to get away with a colossal fuck up in panic mode with that. That M60 junction ain't the best, there's 2 slips in close proximity where the M60 goes from 4 lanes to 3 on the first junction, and then down to 2 lanes for this A663 junction so if you're not paying attention to signs you can find yourself heading off for the A663 when you want to stick on the M60 which briefly goes down to 2 lanes. It looked like the van driver realised this reasonably early on but bottled the lane change and was in panic mode from there. The van driver didn't realise the oncoming lights coming up in that panic mode, stopped too late and tried to rectify the wide stop to avoid the front end collision by stupidly reversing back. The irony is if the van driver wanted to get back on the M60 he could easily just go straight over the next set of lights after having time to work out where they are going, its a lengthy road until the main lights there and you have time to work it out on the satnav. It was very poor driving all around from them. Theres a possibility they were on the phone (handsfree or otherwise), but they were clearly flustered and confused. At least the joys of dashcam footage that protects the dashcammer and the van driver will probably be in more hot water for trying to lie their way out of it than the hesitant driving.

    • @tug1345
      @tug1345 Před 2 měsíci +17

      @neuralwarp if the lorry had moved onto the right lane a mile before the circle, people would complain he's hogging the right lane way before the junction, also we don't have the benefit of seeing what the situation was before that junction, one other thing I'd point out is, it is a lorry, most likely in an area he's not delivered to before and possibly doesn't know the road layouts, I noticed the left hand lane was for going left only, the right hand lane for straight on or turning right, not all circles are like that, the left lane normally for straight on and left, the differences of road layouts in different areas doesn't make for easy travelling for people from different areas, so sometimes a little patience and politeness I think is missing from drivers, that lorry driver was indicating

    • @TheIntronD
      @TheIntronD Před 2 měsíci +4

      @@neuralwarpdoesn't look like it seems like the lorry hasn't sat in the right hand lane and pissed off all the drivers instead he's waited to get in lane and indicated and gone for a very big gap and It looks like the camera car went to shut it on him. If he wanted to qué jump why not just do it further up and bully his way in. The fact the clip starts here makes me believe the lorry wasn't and was just being normal and not an ass. If it started with the lorry undertaking ( because if he had it would show that) then I would believe you but since it starts like this it seems guys just grumpy he has a lorry Infront of him.

      @ Stubbino: At the time you don’t know if you have the other vehicles details on video until you can review the footage. There are frequent instances where number plates are cloned, and the accident vehicle is a similar make, model and colour but not the actual vehicle. At the first stop you should use your mobile to grab a picture of the driver and also the VIN (it’s visible behind the windscreen on the left side on most modern vehicles) if possible.
      It’s seldom easy to respond with a clear head to such an unexpected incident, but the person who drove off (twice) should have as a minimum points on their license (assuming they have one) and maybe even a ban - certainly for driving away twice before giving their details.

    The "hit and run" vehicle, you just need the dashcam evidence. You're risking a dangerous driving charge chasing after them plus you don't know who they are so forcing a vehicle to stop is a completely unnecessary risk. Lorry driver on the A3, def could have given them more space seeing as they didn't appear to be at all situationally aware. then tailgating and flashing when they had hazard lights on was unnecessary too, the effort would be better placed setting up to overtake them. Rob63 needs to chill out and let these things go. Doubt it cost you any time either

    6:10 Ah Stan the self appointed traffic controller! fascinating hobby, I believe that the Society of Controllers of Urban and motorway Traffic Scheme or C.U.N.T.S for short carry the Eye Spy book of UK road Vehicles and tick them off each time they successfully hinder the vehicle's progress. When the book is complete, they send it in and get a shiny badge that they can fix to their existing 'trophy cabinet' strapped to the front of the car. Other badges include The Caravan and Camping club, the RAC, The Advanced Drivers Association and of course the 'V' for Veteran Motorists Club. At least that's what I think the V meant!
