Nintendo needs to implement a system that figures out who is causing the lag and kick them out of the match. I played a match with the lag and as soon as the person who was causing the problem gave up it was flawless.
@@TylerScow I can honestly say I do not remember that. I remember the PS3 online was still free. I also do not remember any major lag issues like this so ...maybe that is exactly what I am talking about.
Or just block people with bad connections from playing online at all until their connection becomes more stable. I've seen Smash Bros. do that to me before I invested in a wired connection. SMM2 should do the same.

@@observerlad1520 that would be true for the ps4 however since nintendo uses peer 2 peer (specifically with mario maker 2) it is the players with slow internet causing the issues. It is fair to block bad connections which there could be many reasons for (wifi interference cheep routers someone streaming netflix while you play etc.). Obviously more nintendo servers could fix the issue but if nintendo wants to keep being cheep this is the only short term solution to the problem.
That sounds like a good idea, but what if the bad internet players canât get better? Would they be queued up with other bad internet players?

Right-click switches between "Finger" Mode & View Mode, with left-clicking toggling zoom in View Mode.
Right-click to select things.
Drag cursor to scroll course.
This would make docked mode so much better as it would be more on par with handheld mode.
Nintendo would have to make it possible to use a usb mouse on Nintendo Switches also. It's not just them letting people use mouses on Mario Maker 2. I 100% agree with your comment though.

Especially, since they now have a game it would be perfect for.

I will admit, itâs an amazing feeling when you are playing online vs and itâs really laggy and then someone gives up and itâs back to normal so they were the one causing all of the lag.

The thing about New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe is the local multiplayer. Specially the Coin Battle. Playing with friends really makes it for me. Thatâs the only issue I actually have with Mario Maker 2. But again, itâs great for solo playing. Great video Wood!

I only bought nsmu deluxe only because I havenât owned /played many of New sup games.
I love creating levels. When I got hit by hurricane ida last year and lost power for 2 weeks I spent so much time making levels and I never got bored. Sometimes I can make a level and spend 5+ whole hours at a time making. Sadly I donât have my switch anymore
1:19 - Well, to be fair, Mario Kart 8 was actually huge for a Wii U game, selling nearly 9 million copies. That's more than twice of what Mario Maker 1 sold.

This Christmas is the first Christmas Iâve been exited about in a while. As Iâve gotten older the things I want get more and more expensive. I used to get 20-30 presents every Christmas because they were cheap army toys and dinosaurs. But as I lose interest in cheap toys for kids I start to want expensive things such as the switch, a gaming pc, a oculus quest, and more. Iâm very exited to get a switch since my brother took our last switch with him to college.
Honestly, you will surely have a great time with the switch. I remember when I got my switch for Christmas I almost cried as even though I had a gaming PC, I was excited to take my games on the go. Hope you receive it for Christmas

About the multiplayer matches, is really kinda laggy, but, for me it doesnât SO MUCH, like, in 30 matches that I played 10 was laggy, but if I try to play a few distant of my internet device, the game lags.

World building (with being able to mix and match your own stages with others downloaded online) is something I've thought of, which would be a great feature. Then you can collect similar themed or...what's the word, 'cater?'/filter content via ramping the difficulty from a set of stages. The content is there and staggering, but being able to filter and present your fav levels could add another element to the Maker level. It's almost a necessity when you have that level of content, but gaining reputation based on your catered levels would be enjoyable to all sides.
Better filter options and being able to watch other try your stages would be really cool, and could help in the process of creating better stages. The creativity and polish people make without it though is astounding

Breath of the Wild is a Wii U game. It came out before the Switch version. I played on Wii U and it was fabulous. Also Wii U had Smash 4, it wasn't a bad console. I still use mine.
Phill Conklin he didn't say it was a bad console, just that it wasn't successful. Super Mario Maker, Sm4sh and (maybe) Splatoon are the only Wii U games that really got big and mainstream. Breath of the Wild was far more popular on the Switch. So the Wii U had some great games, but it was generally ignored by most people, SMM bein an exception
Except Breath of the Wild came out the same day on Switch and WiiU.
@@extofer True but the former console takes precedent. Remember that Skyward Sword was a test drive for Breath of the Wild originally conceptualized for Switch. Switch was really only a product of the Wii U failing but BotW was planned long before the Switch. You can tell this is the case because Wii U was only out 2 or 3 which is way longer than a console cycle.
