and he has the funniest content
I’m sure he has help with writing and concepts but I respect that he is in his own lane and doesn’t try to be anything but himself. He’s cool.
He is almost playing a character, one we have seen hundreds of times before in movies. I enjoy his wacky videos, but the thing I respect him the most for is that he doesn't flog Raid Shadowshit and Nord VPN etc! He is therefore above almost all the rest in this video when it comes to selling out. Avgn is the worst, he doesn't care.
So yes, Scott is a fresh take on being an American youtuber, I hope his ethics spreads around to new creators.

This was such an awesome idea. Everyone in this video (besides AVGN who I more or less "grew up" with) I basically found either because of the Nintendo Switch directly or through recommendations/collabs with each other and I just love watching you all come together and see how your different styles mix not just into one video but have in many ways influenced my tastes in games and how I consume content about them.

A bunch CZcams gamers having a discussion isn't a crossover. That's like saying the Oscars is a crossover. It's not.
My favorite game is Animal Crossing. With over 600 hours I'm impressed with how much fun I've had with a game I never intended to buy. I didn't even plan on playing it, not a fan of the genre. I decided to give it a try because of the lock down and ended up building everything I was missing out on in my real life. It started out as free therapy but became a great way to relax and express myself. There are other games I really loved but none that I could put nearly so much time into.
I thought it would be overbearing to play daily and thus didn't consider buying it as well. Now i have 410+ hours and it's the best start to my daily routine!
My love of Animal Crossing began when I got the Gamecube version. Didn't plan on getting it, just happened to find it on sale in like 2004. Best decision ever and led to a lifelong love of the franchise.
I haven’t got it yet cuz I always think about how the game has no end. I like knowing there is some goal.

I love his video review, i though he was going to talk about zelda. But he pick Luigi Mansion 3 and what puzzle me the most is that Luigi manage to make multiplayer possible and yet Ghostbuster the video remaster could not and best of all it manage to make everything able to suck up and destroy, but the remaster some how was not able to do so for the switch and it hurts me to know the potential it had gone to waste :(

Breath of the wild has impacted my life. I've never played a game that has stuck with me for literally years. I'm not a hardcore gamer by any means but I will go back to it once a year and play all the way through.
There’s nothing else quite like it. It’s a unique experience for sure. It might not have a lot of the traditional stuff that a typical Zelda game would have but I’m open to trying new things and botw succeeded. Now all we need is botw 2 to fix the things that were iffy about the original and then we could be talking about a real masterpiece.

@@CallieBlader It was the enhanced freedom aspect, you can't avoid or ignore the beauty either. The element of exploration and freedom but overall it's such an enjoyable experience. Granted the story is poor, likewise the sound track and quirkiness compared to previous titles. BOTW is like a Mozart peice but more engaging and fun. Admittedly I grew up playing Ocarina and I always though that would never be topped but Nintendo smashed it out of the park.
I wasn't wanting to get teary watching a normally light and fun channel, but here I am 🥺

The good thing about Dragon Quest 11 S is that it has a gigantic demo, which really gives you the time to get a grasp on the flow of the game.
Yeah, I'll be honest I'd never played a DQ game and didn't think I had much interest in the game but took a shot on the demo and ended up loving it. I think I did the 10 hours twice waiting for the release date.

That was great! I mostly was excited for this after CZcams reccomended it, 'cause I saw James Rolfe in the preview. Then, it sounded cool, right? Nintendo Switch games reviewed by FAVORITE Nintendo CZcamsrs! Well I don't know most of them and the ones I recognized I've only watched a couple times, and James Rolfe's thing as the AVGN was kind of less than he's capable of, since he was shilling his own games for a short period instead of talking about other games, but it was still good. But wow, all together I really enjoyed it. It was well put together, and even though I've never heard of you before, well, I've heard of you now, haven't I? So thank you for reviewing some Switch games!

This really struck me. I’ve reached several of the youtubers in this collab through different sources. I remember playing pokemon sun and moon back in 2016-2017 and discovering Austin John. I remember getting interested in Nintendo once again in 2018 and wanting a switch. That’s how I discovered Wood and Bob. The funny thing is how they weren’t as close back then.
Covid hit and I think the entire Nintendo fanbase united and developed throughout these last 3 years. I’m just trying to say that I feel so grateful about belonging to this loving and rich community. The fact that my favorite nintendo youtubers got to meet each other just proves my point.

The switch has given me the opportunity to meet so many new friends, especially prepandemic. Where i would bring it to my college campus and just play smash bros and other people would come up and ask to play. The amount of friendships I have gotten through the system is amazing.

I think I speak for many of your subscribers and friends when I say that I'm so happy to have found your channel. I had just come out of the most traumatic events of my entire life to where I was having issues with family and friends, I was doing some very stupid crap, and nearly attempted to do something that obviously I wouldn't have been able to have come back from and be typing this. I just happened to have one of your videos come across my suggestions, and one led to another. As I've watched your videos over the past 2 and a half years since I came across that original video, and heard about the things you've been through and where you are now, it's made me rethink about whether not being on this planet would be good. Since I started watching, I've slowly started turning things around and will soon be getting a job in the industry I've always wanted to be in. This channel is tempting me to buy my first nintendo switch, I never had any consoles from nintendo but as an anime watcher and gamer I can not deny nintendo switch anymore
Just got one in December. Hadn't had a console since the Wii and Ps3. No regrets. If you have the cash, it's been totally worth it.
