My suspicion is, that the "criticism" is nothing but an attempt to create artificial drama (aka gaslighting) with a bigger youtuber, so that he, as a smaller (and potentially jaelous) youtuber, can grow his own channel.

It has happened imo that you weren't really saying anything but like 99% of your videos are great and I agree with most of your opinions

If you look at Optimus’ channel members only videos, versus the videos for the general viewer, they are only 3-5 minutes long. Where as all other videos are 10-13 minutes. It’s quite self explanatory that Optimus drags out his video past the 8 minute mark for advertisements and watch time, i.e. padding his videos. It’s right there for all of us to see. None of the channel member videos are more than 8 minutes long for the simple fact that the people watching those videos are already giving him 5 dollars or so each. Therefore, on the members only videos, he does not need to extend the duration to fit in more adverts or up watch time to make more money because he is already making that revenue off the people giving him monthly payments to watch those videos. Optimus is deflecting the argument to say that the accuser is doing the same thing he’s doing. Rather than hearing the argument’s points, and DEBUNKING them with factual self-reflection. He’s just saying over and over, for 18 minutes “well this guy is doing the same thing with this video, so my actions are obviously validated.”

Two things. You know you've made it when your haters copy exactly what you do. You nailed it when you said he doesn't like you. For whatever reason he doesn't like you but can't articulate it so he bashes on your vids. Keep doing what you're doing.
Sometimes I think Optimus drags out videos by ranting, but that's just commentary, it is unscripted and therefore miscellaneous. I love long videos, it's more content and if it helps the channel out and gets him more money than everyone wins.

I always watch 95% of all videos on CZcams, the parts I skip: sponsorships, merch items, promotions etc.
I genuinely value peoples thoughts, and quite frankly, you Optimus are my secondary source of world-news or helping me catch up on thinks happening; and providing background noise for my to continue working.
As for ad-sense, most people (if on computer or a browser like Firefox) use extensions like AdBlock which blocks ads on CZcams, or in many other cases CZcams premium also removes all ads.
For ads: when I don't have extensions enabled or CZcams premium you only have 4 ads total from what I've seen, 2 before the start of the video then 2 throughout the video or at the very end.
I've got CZcams vanced for skipping those. Ads and all.
Honestly your videos are great for just chilling, they're perfect length and the topics you discuss are very interesting. Keep it up bro!

Before I go to bed every night I generally like to listen to something and close my eyes as I drift to sleep. I always gravitate towards your content. Most of the time your content is GENUINELY enjoying as the topics you discuss are actually interesting or I just typically enjoy listening to you. Your videos are not too long and anyone who actually watches your videos can easily tell you’re not trying to “milk” anything. If it was my choice I would want your videos to be longer. I actually can’t get enough of your content. I eagerly wait for you to put out new videos so I have something to entertain me and satisfy that “itch”. I love your content and I’m genuinely proud of you and the work you’ve put into this. The way you pick a topic and discuss that topic is very professional. Never have I ever felt that you try to extend the video by going over it in a lengthy way. It doesn’t feel “forced” it feels natural. You are a man of talent and we ALL appreciate you. There’s a reason why you have a high fan base and the other simp doesn’t. You’re a good man too! You literally have a donation on all your videos. i like optimus because of the subjects he talks about but he really drags out the start of the video by not defining anything he’s introduced, for example: “today i woke up to everyone i know in the entire internet who some are my friends sending me this video of a person did something that is really controversial and because all of you asked nicely i decided to respond today in todays video THE CHANNEL IS SPONSORED BY THE SHOP BUY IT anyways (and proceeds to repeat everything but with some information”

I'm all for fair and honest criticism. As a smaller creator myself, if someone has an issue with my content, for example, and plainly tells me what it is, I do my best to not take it personally. That said, not all criticism is valid, just as not all praise is either. And if all of your criticism toward someone else can be equally turned back on yourself, then maybe you're not the best person to judge said issue.
Hey optimus, good job on not letting this guy get to your head. A good lot of CZcamsrs would probably start some huge witch hunt campaign against this guy if he made a video about them, but you were the bigger man here. Keep up the good work.
It seems pretty apparent to me that this guy got to his head, or Optimus is running dry on content to make. Otherwise he wouldn’t have made a video about it. I’m willing to bet that over 90% of his audience never even heard about this other guy criticizing Optimus. If this creator is so insignificant as Optimus implies, why is he making a video about it?

With the topics you cover, you go into detail and give as much context as necessary. If people don't want to watch that long of videos, that's fine, but when you cover the kinds of topics you do, and with the way CZcams is, you need to clearly convey context and to dance around character assassination accusations. You do a great job at retaining the interest of the viewer and playing by CZcams guidelines while not making a documentary out of everything. This guy genuinely has no idea what he's talking about.

To be honest, you don't immediately get to the point and end the video, but that's the point for me: you add your own opinion to the situations, basically you're not a robot voice giving the news, but a person adding their salt to the plate. I can agree more or less, but that's also the nice thing about your videos, I can see how people may have a different stance on one situation but agree with mine in another.

Average view time is about as good a stat as you can use to determine quality. If he had only used view count it would be egotistical. Either way I’d take raw numbers over whatever opinion the guy he was reacting to was spewing

I really love your channel and have no problem whatsoever with the length of your videos. I usually listen to them in the background while drawing or doing something else. This guy is clearly jealous and is also being very hypocritical.

I’ve been watching Optimus for YEARS across multiple accounts so TO ME PERSONALLY this content is pretty entertaining and you’re the only person who has kept commentary original that I’ve come across

Making 2 videos about technoblade and calling it milking the situation means literally nothing especially compared to many other youtubers who made dozens, and it was even less milking it for content because one video was in memorial, and the other video was about someone who actually milked it for content, he obviously didnt do his research, and 5,000 dollars isnt a small amount of money for most people either

I actually went to the video awhile back and he kept backtracking. He would say “You didn’t understand the video.” This guy just thinks he’s all that when in reality he’s just incompetent.

Idk about any issues are but personally i watch your videos like no tomorrow. I love watching them and playing a game in the background or something, your not an idiot and you have common sense. Some may have Something to say about advertisements but thats always gonna have people not liking ads. Just skip or ad block. I love the length of the videos. Personally i wouldn't mind longer.i enjoy the ranting , the extra information, your straight to the point but your also thorough and accurate.
I’d rather have a detailed video with the facts and your opinion over a rushed 4 minute video. Honestly I sometimes don’t bother watching people’s videos if it’s under 5 minutes. I like videos that are 5-20 minutes or longer videos that are 20min-hour.i don’t know what this guy is on about

Ya I usually watch about half of an Optimus video because at that point I know everything I need to know, I know the subject, the problem, why Optimus got a problem, and then I can go make my thoughts later. After the half point, there is no extra details I need because nothing important is added. Sometime I also play the videos at faster speeds because I don’t want to spend too much time.

The videos usually consist of reacting or telling us what the topic of the video is, his sources or where he heard it from, then his thoughts. The end, how is that mediocre of that is all you need?

It's funny because Optimus produces shorter videos than most of the CZcams channels I watch. I prefer longer videos as they provide a better understanding of the topic than a shorter video could.

These people that criticize your videos are stalled, no talent content creators who in all actuality would rather make up some bogus excuse to pick an a very success and cool youtuber(Optimus) just because they see an opportunity to to get some childish attention. I actually saw the video before optimus covered it, and when I went to the comments, several people called him out of the fundraising argument, saying it was kinda petty or in my opinion, completely ridiculous, the guy even got into an comment section argument with some viewers, when they’re criticism is completely valid, the guy was very petty, easily the second worse criticism video I’ve seen.
