    Nice video DT ! I'd say the Yamaha with the better ground clearance and obviously better tires made quick work, also seemed like that Rincon may have got hung up on something under the surface right away. The competition could have went the other way if the Grizz and Rincon switched lines. all in all it was fun run, and after seeing you pull handful after handful of grass out of your bike reminded me why I don't do that type of riding anymore haha

      I agree that the machines are different, but disagree that they concentrated on the Honda. I think it was simply a video of two buddies with a fun idea, and they filmed it. We watched it. Not trying to start a fight, but for the sake of friendly argument...the Yamaha also has a "plain old bullet proof design." Honda calls the Rincon their flagship ATV. The flagship ATV's of all other major manufacturers - in comparison - offer more power, more clearance, more suspension, larger tires, POWER STEERING, better gearing for low and high speed, front differential lock, more on-board storage, updated/modern styling, and the list goes on for a while. I'm personally disappointed in Honda's Rincon in the year 2018. And I'm a "Honda guy"!

  • @johnclifford1911
    @johnclifford1911 Před 5 lety

    I have 3 Rincons, an '03, '05, and a '12. The first two are carbed 650s, the '12 is a fuel injected 680. These, from the factory, are UTILITY ATVs, not mud-racing ATVs. We have used ours to cruise the Pacific Northwest here in WA and never had an issue... and they are very comfortable to cruise trails at 30 mph at low RPMs with excellent range... we ride 70 mile or more trips without needing to refuel. And no worries about a CVT belt braking. There's a reason for Honda's reputation for reliability, and in the West we don't want to have to walk 20 miles to get to the nearest paved roads... this isn't the settled Midwest with paved roads surrounding every section. The Rincons will do 60 mph on gravel roads... how much faster do you need to go?... and they're easily controllable and docile so my wife and teenage son won't have to worry about unexpected throttle twists making the ATV go out of control, yet shift it manually and let the revs build and it's fast and quick.
    I'm sure the Grizzly is a decent ATV... I own an FJR and like it. But the Rincon is something else when it comes to cruising trails.
