    It’s insane how they won’t update it. Put the Africa Twin engine in it with the dual clutch, power steering, and modern styling and they would sell like hot cakes. They have enough work focused machines in their lineup to allow to Rincon to move to a more sporty category.

    I have been buying all kinds of Honda products for a long time, motorcycles, cars, lawnmowers, outboards, pressure washers etc. They don't make junk products . They are reliable and last forever. This is why I bought a 2019 Rincon which I do not regret. The auto transmission has a mind of its own which I do not like, so I keep it in manual shift, which is great. Honda does not change their designs on a yearly basis , which allows their products to be highly tested and therefore highly refined. You can't change the design on a yearly basis and still have reliability and longevity.

    If you can get Honda to listen PLEASE get them to update the Rincon. It is going on 20 years with no real changes! Ya, they added fuel injection but that is it. I have a Rincon with over 10,000 hard working miles and it is time to replace it. I have taken good care of it but I have also worked it HARD. 1- Engine update. I need them to update the engine with a different layout. There's no way to adjust the cam chain once you get to this many hours/miles. 2- Power steering. I know that it may not be necessary in every situation but I find many situations were it is needed. I also have an injury that could have been avoided if it had power steering. 3- Low range. I gotta have low range for some work applications. 4- Just add some current updates. the EFI is a good start but keep going. I keep waiting for an updated machine because it's time to replace mine but don't see the point in doing so if it is still the same basic machine. AND I don't want to go to a CVT brand.

    • @LITMM
      @LITMM  Před 3 lety

      Ya I hear ya Honda doesn’t really seem to be interested in the big bore genre, if they where I could see an automotive style CVT like you see in their civics but, not a snowmobile style like you see currently with other brands, Honda never copies they do there own thing. I am in the same boat as you I have almost turned over 11,000 now and use it around the farm everyday but I need to upgrade soon as well, but I am stuck I was gearing towards the Outlander XT 850 but I know it will never live up to what that Rincon has been through but I really got no other choice

  • @anthonypellegrino4513

    Rincons are great! I own a 2007 Rincon and just bought a 2021 Grizzly SE which is fricken awesome. We all know the differences between the two but the Rincon, even without power steering is a super smooth riding quad...tons of power on tap. I love the transmission too! What I mean is, I am taking on steep hills and trail blazing mountain sides that I would not even consider doing on my Rincon. The Maxxis Zilla tires hook up and the 4x4 low is nearly unstoppable. I really don't use the diff lock too much (I feel I don't need it) but yeah, the Grizzly is super fast, super smooth and you just get the sense like you can climb anything! The Rincon is a killer bike too but it is now a back up for guests up at my ranch. I ride in the forest kind of near of Lake Isabella, CA.
