These 2 are wonderful! I love their excitement and how they make the scriptures alive. How can you not feel the great spirit of the Book of Mormon and the wonder that Jesus Christ is to us all! The Savior will NEVER stop reaching out to us and HIS arms are always open . It's OUR choice whether we will reject Him or hold on fast as our anchor!! Thank you Emily and David for all your hard work in helping us REMEMBER what is so important. (and yes, I know this was a year ago and we are in the Doctrine & Covenants...but I'm always going back and studying the BofM!)
I have never commented on ANYTHING before, but for some reason just watching your short trailer video showing the church history sites for next year’s studies really touched me! I don’t know why it made me weep but as a lifelong member that just recently started studying the scriptures because of you both I am so grateful to for the way you bring things to life and understanding and present the scriptures. Thank you thank you!
It made me cry too! I have seen most of the Church history sites except for Pennsylvania and New York... now I cannot go because I started fostering kids and can't leave the state I'm in. So I love that I can still go on a tour with David & Emily! 🥰

I have not idea how you have the time to do all this for all of us but let me express my deep appreciation for the insight (and understanding) you have given...for the word of God. (My book of Mormon has never been more LOVED) I didn't think I would be as excited for the D&C study.... but now I AM. ON site! oh my gosh. and with music! wow. and the updated journal book. Yes Yes Yes. And I know I "got ya" till after the Old Testament year so.... WHOO HOO! You have prepared a life time for such a time as this and we are the benefactors! Thank you Thank you. I hate to say this but I'm so thankful for the pandemic. These are the good things that came out of bad. Look at how many people are able to study in their own home, especially people who are intimidated by in person gospel doctrine.
This lesson really touched my heart and brought many tears. I love your enthusiasm and love of the scriptures you share. It inspires this great grandma to be more willing to share my love of the scriptures and my Savior with my family. Love you forever. 🥰
Yes Emily it is very important for us to know what we are good at I'm 15 and I dwell so much on my faults when people tell me something good about me I break out in tears because It helps me know that I am a loved daughter of God and I'm not a failure and I can do good things!
As a mother, I always told my children how proud I was of the good (alway positive) characteristics they each have. I think it was the best thing I did as a parent. Now that my children are grown with there own children. They have told me how much they love how I was able to make them feel good about themselves. My son didn’t say a lot about it but my husband told me that he thought our son that those positive things I shared with him, helped him become a stronger person to reach his full potential. ( he was very shy and reserved) thanks Linda Stark❤️🙋🏽♀️

But because of factory shut down, economy ups and downs with our construction and excavation business and my type 1 diabetes issues... we've had to put travel to our family history part of the beginning of the restoration on hold. . . Years ago, a lovely spiritual teacher in my ward told me: when you pray and finish....stay on your knees and listen to God's answers. I did
this, and then started writing the daily answers from Father in my scripture journal, it has been a dear and precious experience over the years.
I am so excited about next year's videos! What a blessing. We homeschool, and can't travel right now. My whole family is going to be watching. Thank you both.

This is SO brilliant....looking forward to studying the Doctrine and Covenants....my late husband and I took this long Church History trip after being sealed in Salt Lake City and before returning home to Zimbabwe, Africa.48 years ago. Thank you....for this and all the lessons shared this year.

I love your videos and I'm sooo excited for your book of mormon travels. I wanted to point out a thought that came to me. A comment was made what are we teaching our children during this hard time and being worried about what the world will be for them with all the wickedness in our world. What I've been telling my kids is yes we have some hard times ahead but be excited because in such a short window of time and IN THEIR LIFETIME. In our lifetime Christ IS coming and they will get to raise their children during the Millennium. What a great thing to look forward too. No fear just faith in good things to come.💕

Thank you for always challenge me to dig deeper. I think it is so amazing that this year we looked for God's hand in our life because that has helped us build a trusting relationship with God. In 2021 you will be helping us to learn to ask God for personal revelation to help us through our life problems. Also loved the idea of studying D&C by identifying the person, personality, problem, prayer and prophecy! So excited to keep digging deeper and continue to grow my relationship with God.

I was 10 or 11 when I received a testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon from the Holy Ghost. By logical deduction I then knew the revelations Joseph Smith received were true and that I was a member of Jesus Christ's church. Thanks for your teachings.

I have a prayer journal which I called: Inspired Actions which I use daily. And it transformed my life.
Whats Inspired actions mean?
@@emilyfisher9924 HI Emily. So what I mean by that is when you pray and you feel a prompting to do something, it's usually an inspired prompt to act. I pray everyday as I work for myself and often get stuck on finding solutions. After prayer I sit still and just wait for prompting. I write them down and then I am sure to do them. Sometimes there have been things that I was prompted to do that made no sense but later on it worked out that it was necessary to get to where I wanted to be. Thank you for asking. May you be blessed as you try this out. It was really a big shift for me.
I hate to admit it but I always dread doing the Doctrine and Covenants study when it comes around but because of your videos and your field trips, I'm actually looking forward to 2021...well, that and saying goodbye to 2020! ;-)

I am SO excited for the 2021 Come Follow Me lessons about the Doctrine and Covenants! We lived in the Cleveland area from 1976-1996. Years ago, the John Johnson farm was our stake farm project where we pruned apple trees, picked apples and strawberries, and canned applesauce from the apples that fell on the ground (we could pick them up for free). Our children remember hearing the story about Joseph being tarred and feathered. They remember swinging on the rope swing hanging from one of the big trees in the yard at the Johnson home. They remember going to the Kirkland temple and the Whitney store every time we had out-of-town visitors. I can't wait to see the videos - thanks for continuing to share your scriptural insights.
