Great video. ☺️ These ALX400 Volvo B7TL buses with Go Ahead London must have been extremely rare. I've seen one video of one operating outside of London but this is the first time I'm seeing a video of one operating in London.
Not often to hear one of these in London with the fan not on full blast. They are missed though, a pm rail driver said to me the other day he missed driving AVLs.
@BusesinLondon345 I went on 1 of those buses in my childhood, like in around 2001 or 2002, and I recalled that time that they were introduced at Bexleyheath to replace the outdated and elderly Leyland Titans which advertised West End Musicals on the front of their buses like The Phantom Of The Opera, Cats, Les Miserables, The Witches of Eastwick, The Starlight Express, The Lion King, Miss Siagon, Whistle Down the Wind, Grease The Musical and Saturday Night Fever Live
I miss getting these on the 363, they were really nice. Such a shame they were short lived in London

Very Nice Journey

These are truly missed
Five and a half years after withdrawal and I still miss the AVLs.
These buses came from Bexleyheath Bus Garage for the routes 89, 229, 401 and the 422 where they were introduced in 2000 to replace the Leyland Titans
Nope, these AVLs were new to Camberwell and Peckham garages and only operated there within the 10 years they were in London for
