@@BusesInDublin 6 speed’s with kickdown enabled are rare to come across. There were 2 batches in London which had kickdown enabled, Arriva’s VLA144-179 which have had them from new and VW1560-1570 which got modified during their mid-life refurbishment. WVL212-273 at London Central were also 6 speed and never had kickdown except for 1 in the batch (WVL244)
@@BusesinLondon345 Yea I've noticed myself it's rare. Dublin s 6 speeds don't have it but they do give a good downshift and are all round a great machine!
Just curious why these Ecomats doesn't have the 2nd to 3rd iconic gear change sound? Same thing happen on Hong Kong's Volvo B9TL Euro 3 which uses ZF Ecomat 6HP592C. However, all of Alexander Dennis or Transbus Enviro500 which use ZF Ecomats have those sound.
Top driving RJ! What a superb B7 as well!
Every time I had a ALX400 B7 in Bristol I always thrashed them like this, brilliant buses.
This reminds me of these fast, thrash kickdown connex bus (travel london) TA25, TA31, TA40, TA54, TA67, TA68, TA73 as well.
Beautiful just beautiful.. Great driving btw
Thanks!
It also reminds me of fast thrash kickdown connex bus dennis tridents on 3 157 196
Saw this go past shooters hill, these are lovely buses I miss them at GR, and the ones that were at BN
Yes it often moved around under the cover of darkness! Quite like them too!
a bit refreshing to see a later upload of an old bus that was also on another video i think but loved these odd style seats ALX400s
Don’t think this one was on CZcams previously
Today's the Mayor elections. Don't vote for Sadiq Khan, vote for Susan Hall!
Brilliant stuff, wish Dublin's 6 speeds were like this!
They can be programmed that way if the owner desires, thirsty on fuel though!!
@@KickdownLondon I'd imagine that's why ours are not enabled
