- Euro 2 4 speed ZF Trident V327 KGW out and about. Very nippy and an engine which screams relentlessly. Clips as follows;
0:03 - full kickdown from 1st to 4th
0:26 - kickdown from 1st to 4th
0:52 - steptronic slam (1st gear downshift)
1:10 - light acceleration without kickdown
1:45 - full acceleration without kickdown
2:16 - steptronic slam (1st gear downshift)
2:43 - full kickdown from 1st to 4th
4:37 - full acceleration from 0 to 60mph
Have to come back to this video every once in a while as it’s one of the best sounding ZF Tridents I’ve heard.

Great video. ☺️ I really love this bus. I saw this bus in another video on another CZcams channel and it was going really fast. I think it was on a District Line Rail replacement and this bus was being loaned to Abellio London from Go Coach for the Rail Replacement Service. I think this bus is now preserved. I think it was preserved on the 4th October 2019 so that's good and I'm happy. ☺️

0.52 and 2.16 Was the best kickdowns. That was all of its 245 horses being let out. You just can't do this on a voith trident.
Well the some of the Euro3 Voith Tridents can do this especially 18168 GX54 DVL I think.

@Coolfunr there aren’t anymore in London, but you might possibly find one on Rail Replacement. It’s definitely worth a try.

It was on rail replacement that day, can't remember which route though - may have been Tower Hill to Barking.
