In this video I showcase my personal favorite running boards. I’ve owned these on my Army Green 2020 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, Lunar Rock 2021 Tundra TRD Pro, Super White 2021 4Runner TRD Pro and now my Lunar Rock 4Runner TRD Pro. Yes… I love em.
Not only do they look good, they offer great protection from door dings and rock chips while cruising down gravel and dirt roads.
For the price, I don’t know if a better option. The bed liner finish helps tremendously with grip! As if you can’t tell, I’d highly recommend giving Go Rhino a look if you’re searching for some new running boards. Good news is they make these for so many different types of vehicles… Ram, Silverado, Sierra, Jeeps, etc…

Just picked up a new 2023 4Runner yesterday but no running boards and wifey struggles to get in. Hence I figured let me check whether there are any videos on CZcams. This is extremely helpful. Going to purchase these and try installing them myself. 😊
Same situation for me - new 4Runner w/o running boards and a short wife who really needs them because of her knee problems. Very helpful info here, and I am also going to get a set of these.

Looks good. Really like the finish. I just ordered the raptors for our new runner. Gonna attempt to install tomorrow. The brackets seem a bit more substantial on the raptors. Time will tell. Believe they are a but more adjustable as well. My main concern is the finish, the Rhinos finish looks dang good and bullet proof. I can always do that to mine later. Nice looking ride.
Have the same TRD PRO in Lunar Rock 2021. And I’m definitely going to order these ones. Not a fan of the factory ones supplied. Thank you for the discount.

They definitely look good. But they are very expensive for what you get. I also thought I went overboard with sliders on my FJ as they were mainly used as steps. But they are so solid and tough. When rotating the tires I would jack it up each side using the sliders. Well worth the extra cost of $100-$200.
I am very happy with my Go Rhino Dominators. Slider look for under $600 and super strong.

compare to the white 4runner video that you posted, this one has even wider gap and not hug the body. Were you able to get it to snug the body like the tundra? It looks weird when there is a huge gap between the step and the truck.
The Go Rhino running boards for the Tundra are much more functional IMHO and provide a large area for stepping regardless of your foot angle.

Are you able to make a video on how to change your glove box bulb to LED. I have no idea how to do this, and I am not seeing any other videos that show the glove box. For your 2021 or 2022 4Runner.

Watched your other vid about buying, pricing etc. Its not the best time to buy a car. Got off the phone with the dealer few hours ago, landed a 2022 4 Runner TRD Pro at MSRP. Not idle but all considering I call that a win, thx for the advice. Looking at rock sliders and lifts now….

Think they did it more for grip than product protection. I know people who just spray the bottom with rustoleum then you’re 100%
The huge gap between the body and the running boards ruins it IMO.

There is a fairly large price increase from the powder coated version to the bedliner coating. Is there any actual difference in corrosion protection and durability? I live in the rust belt and want the best protection I could get from all the salt/brine we have on the roads here all winter, but don't want to spend an extra $200 if they are functionally the same product.
I know people who purchased the textured black and they were completely happy with it. If I didn’t have kiddos, I’d just get the textured black and save the $200.
I ask them that question and she said no they are both warranty for 5 years. I’m wondering now if I should have paid the extra for the liner spray. O Well
How’s the pup like them to get on/out of the 4Runner. Asking for my 2 dogs. So far dad won’t let them in the new 4Runner.

AMP running boards are cool but they’re super expensive… I have them on my Raptor. I like that these double as door protectors.
My new 4runner unfortunately has the predator steps. I hate them but am tall enough I just don’t use them getting in or out. These look good but I think I’d also go sliders if I was to upgrade.
I lucked out with the Keep it Wild package running boards. I also am tall enough to just climb in without using them (although I replaced them with RSG angled sliders)
Really want these for my Tundra. How do they hold up living in the North East rust belt?? Salt does a number on non aluminum sidesteps. Anyone bedline them on their own? I was thinking of getting the powder coated ones and then spraying bedliner on the steps and brackets

I highly recommend these… have had a couple sets on my previous vehicles. I like the original RB20s best. The finish has always held up nicely (bed liner)… they should still offer a 30% Off Discount with my code *should… code: “untamed”

@@UntamedMotorsFor a 4Runner, do you prefer the RB20 OR RB20 SLIM? I'm torn... The slim version looks better, in my opinion, but the regular version would probably be best for our 3 year old and some elderly family. Unless you think the slim still provides enough footing..?

I'm curious as to why you chose the Rb20 slimline for you 4runner and you put the regular Rb20s on your Tundra, is it just a preference thing?
I mainly wanted to try something new. Thought the skimmer look would look for “fitting” on the smaller 4Runner. I like both!
@@UntamedMotors I'm thinking of getting the wider ones for my 4runner, I like the wider board and I have a habit of slipping when stepping on running boards anyway lol, but I always liked how the Raptors had a wider board and if I had ever bought and f150, I would be buying the raptor ones to replace the factory ones

They do, just not as well.
I mean, its a toss up between the go rhino's and the RSG sliders. But for the price the rhino's are nice.
Mine tend to be lower on the outside than the side closest to the body. They aren’t perfectly flat

How long should I expect these to last? I live in Chicago and just purchased some for my Bronco, obviously snow and numerous amount of salt on road here. Anyone else have updates on how these hold after one or numerous winters?

So based on several reviews, including this one, I opted for the GoRhino RB20s. They arrived with some slight "fit and finish" manufacturing defects. Not really bad enough to return in that the fix could be using some black finish spray I could do/spray on myself, but GoRhino's only option for me was to return them for a refund or replacement.They refused to offer a small discount to cover the small price and hassle - so short sighted??? Poor quality control and poor customer service means that, while I like them well enough, I will probably never buy from or recommend GoRhino again.

Bought GoRhino running boards for my 2023 4Runner, first they shipped the wrong boards now the running boards they shipped are WORTHLESS CRAP. The boards jammed up against the body and to far under the body - DIFUNCTIONAL at BEST
