Love how good and slow you explain things on installs. Helps out a lot for not so savvy with doing mods. Thank you. Just got a 2020 black trd pro. Gorhino are next.
Just installed some RB30 Slim Lines on my 23 Tundra. I really like them and they blend into the truck’s outline much better than the Westin stainless ones I had. Thanks for the video.
Do those stick out far enough to prevent door dings?
23 Tundra Crewmax....I just installed today...RB20 Slim. The ONLY hardware that you need is 8 of the medium size (4") U brackets and 32 BOLTS. DISCARD EVERYTHING ELSE.
I got mine TRD running board installed. Got it from Toyota I only paid $1k for it. It look very nice 😊
Nice!…thanks for watching Jim!
I like the regular version stops door dings in their tracks
The running boards look good, the place you are working is beautiful.
Beautiful truck! Been working my 06 f150 that my dad got brand new back in the day. I just love working on it
Thanks Joel!…I genuinely love doing all my own work as well, it’s actually relaxing to me…have fun and enjoy, thanks for checking out the video!
Looks great brother!! My RB20 slimline will be here next week to install on my 2022 TRD Sport Lunar Rock so your video is very timely and your suggestions will keep the job at a six pack. I really enjoy all your video's. You do a great job my friend.
Thanks man, I appreciate that!!...easy install, and they look great, thanks for supporting the channel!
Great video!! Helped finish the job in 30MINS thx
Thanks for the detailed video instructions. I just installed mine ... 👍
Excellent video. Really helped me with my install
The PRO's in Canada come standard with the TRD sliders. I suspect when I get my PRO I'll be selling them for something else as I'd like them to provide more protection against door dings. I have metal tech sliders on my FJ which are fantastic. You may want to check with them if you swap these out. Your truck is looking great.
Thanks man, much appreciated!…I’ll have to give them a look, I’ve never seen that brand before…I haven’t found any sliders that I absolutely love yet, that’s why I just went with these for now…thanks for the heads up!

I used black spray paint to cover the rhino label on the side of the board. It gives it a better look, all black.
Not a bad idea, I’ll prob do the same!
Great explanation and details. Thanks Man!!
Nice. Nuts installed the Go Rhino DSS super slim steps. They look like sliders. What did you have to do to get the 35s to fit? Also what retractable bed cover is that? Do you have to remove the deck rail system?
I just installed these on my Tundra today. They are exactly what I was looking for. They look good and work great!
Yea I loved them!...if they weren't so skinny in the back for my son I would have kept them for sure!
@@NitroZ18Fishing
I’m curious to know which ones you replaced them with. The regular RB20? These seem to also fit more snug up against the truck based on videos I’ve seen. I’m trying to decide which ones to go with. Regular or slim. Thanks
I actually replaced them with a different brand… A company called Oedro... I have a video showing them on the channel as well, they are now a channel partner!

Thanks for the quick response. I’ll be checking out your video.
No prob, happy to help!
Nice video, nice rig.
Thank you!!
Looks good. Hoping AMP will have their powered boards out soon.
Thanks Paul!… I was going to go with electric boards at first but I do plan on taking this truck off the beaten path… I’ll be adding a set of sliders at some point in the near future, but I definitely like these for now!
Thank you for making this video. It did help to shorten my installation time. However, part of your instructions are incorrect. Included with my RB20 slims were 3 sizes of inserts (short/medium/long). The 2 front inserts were LONG and the 2 rear inserts were MEDIUM. You need to make sure you are inserting these inserts from the front side of the steps or you may incorrectly choose inserts that are too short.
Thanks man, I appreciate it!...and that's interesting, they just have changed hardware...the long ones I received weren't fitting anywhere on mine, you can actually see when I go to insert them that the mediums were just the right length, even in the front location...and I needed a small in the rear, the mediums wouldn't slide all the way back that far due to being to long...thanks for posting, good to know for anyone going forward!
*must have changed hardware
@@NitroZ18Fishing They gave me so much hardware I was confused for a bit. They gave me entire bags of extra bolts.
Oh wow, yea they definitely changed what they send!...thanks again for posting and letting everyone know!
Great video! Truck looks great man. Really nice
Thanks Brendan, much appreciated!!
Your truck is freaking nice ! You got good taste
Thanks man, I appreciate that!!
How do you like these? I had the regular rb20s on my last truck but they are pretty wide. Wondering how these slims are getting in and out. Do you regret the narrowness?
Company told me 90 degree bend goes to front ???? Nice video
Thanks Mike!...Hmm, that's weird, my directions said this way...maybe they changed it???...not sure!
@@NitroZ18Fishing yah I’m not sure either I don’t think it would hurt anything either way … I found your video helpful so I was trying to help u you lol… your video showed one way and another video showed opposite… so I called …
Thanks for sharing the info!
Since they are so slim, how often do people kick the body of the truck while getting in? Curious if it'll get all cratched up
What rock sliders did you chose?
They look sleek. Especially with the bigger tires. Are you getting any rubbing from the 35’s?
Hey Andrew!…thanks man, I appreciate it!…I actually posted a video a couple days ago showing the fitment up close if it’ll help!
I would like to put 35’s on the factory bbs. Do you have any issues?
Not sure if you saw but I just posted a video on the channel a couple days ago showing the fitment up close and what had to be done!… Hope it helps!
Look great did you upgrade your tires ?
Thanks Jerry!…yes sir, they’re 35x12.5x18’s!
Are they coated with any grip? Hard to tell but they look pretty smooth in the video
Not kind of textured coating but they honestly weren't slippery...hope that helps!
*no kind
They are offered in a "bed liner" grip which would be similar to rhino lining bed liners.
Those brackets will get scoured by rocks getting kicked up and sand during the winter and start to rust. Is it possible to linex or rhino line those to inhibit that from happening?
I don’t see why not, they can probably be covered fairly easily!…I’ll update the channel if I run into any issues with that!
I want to buy the same ones for my '23 tundra but I already saw in another video that you changed them because they gave problems with your son in the back??? So do you recommend them or not?
I actually loved them!...if it wasn't for my son I would still have them on...so I would absolutely recommend them, especially if you don't have any little ones getting in the rear...if ya have little kids I would say just be careful...I love the new ones just as much, and they're easier for my son to use, but these RB20 slims were awesome!...hope that helps!
@@NitroZ18Fishing thank you
If you did what size are they
You from min or Wisconsin? lol me too
What brand/size 35's did you go with? Did you need to lift at all?
Went with 35x12.5x18 Kenda Klever RT’s…no lift, but I’ll be posting a video tomorrow showing the fitment and what I did to get zero rub!
What is the model # for the new tundra crew cab
For the brackets
may i know the tire size did you change you tire :)
Yepper, I went to 35x12.5x18 Kenda Klever RT's!
Could you please give us the parts number for this runigboard
Crew cab tundra: 69443687SPC
Double Cab
69443580SPC
Tacoma only has six
You won’t off road is my guess
Yepper, sure will!... these boards are temporary until I find a set of sliders I actually like enough to buy
They only sent me 4 of those u-clips….not impressed
Same
Look cheap!
