4runner TRD PRO Lime Rush 2010-2022 OEM Running Board replacing with a Trail Running Board DIY

Per my wife's request, going to replace the OEM silver running board with a Black Trail running board from Toyota. However, i like the predator steps but kids and wife have a hard time getting in.

Are these aluminum with a plastic top or all plastic?

Metal underneath and hard plastic on top. It’s quite sturdy and lightweight

@@db8gsr How is the grip on top compared to the ones you took off?

@@matthewflorez6512 it has less grip and tolerable but wider foot surface to step in or out. The one I took off is rubber on top with less footing to step in because the flat surface is very close to the rocker panel

That lime rush color is just not the color for me.
