My brothers first car EX coupe EJ8 running good 25psi :v whithout race gas or watermeth and theh did it for 2 years after that the car was sold and no engine issues but was build no stock 1.6 soch eagle rods and more stuff

You needed a weaker bov spring so it released at lower bost with stock injectors you can cram that much boost with no fuel or you'll throw a rod

How does a motor mount fail and cause the trans to fall? The trans mount didnt fail, or the 8 bellhousing bolts...

One thing I would really love to know is how do you connect your laptop so it shows your boost and everything
Through the aftermarket ecu, boost is shown from a Map sensor, wide band and everything else is connected through the ecu for tuning purposes
That's why u wore the gloves, u knew u would be picking up bits of hot block and rod on the road :)

For the kswap I recommend a k24 block with a k20 head. Then mate that with either a KraftWerks supercharger or a turbocharger. Then you use the awd transmission out of a crv👌🏾👌🏾

same thing happened to me about 2 weeks ago in my volkswagen 1.8t running 23 psi of boost.

I was told when installing any turbo you’re supposed to carve some sort of hole in the heads or somewhere in the gasket idek where but they said if you just add a turbo and don’t add the circular hole somewhere then it’s gonna blow the gasket eventually

Want a fast civic? Get a 2003 Honda Civic hybrid. It has only a 1.3 liter motor but go to the Honda forum and get a mod to program the assist by button then there a mod to get 45% more current with the ability to click in the assist in 3 stages. It’s a cvt motor so it all in the Reagan gear. I did. My Honda could light and smoke the front tire as the car wanted to go left in burn out. I use to blow away many mustangs . They use to stanf still as I blow by them in the 1-2 shift. The electric motor was instance takeoff torque
My electric motor stage 3 mod was pulling 130-150 hp but torque is about somewhere 325# lb Can’t beat Torque on the street.instant throttle takeoff. + the car is about 2,300 lb.

First of all need to ask you is you rebuild your pistons for racing Pistons second of all try a J32 to make sure you rebuild the Pistons

Put a 1.8 DOHC from a 92-95' integra in there. Can really only get 210hp on front wheel drives if you want to use as daily driver as well..
