    An additional note about the Tudor Black Bay Buying Guide: If you are interested in the Black Bay GMT be aware that since its release the movement has been know to have some issues with the date wheel. While scarce as it may be, it's a known problem and it is worth mentioning. Thanks for watching!

      Crown & Caliber yes, this is a real issue. I know of 3 that have had to go back for repair and one of those is back in for a second time.

      Crown & Caliber More interesting is that Tudor doesn’t seem to care for fixing the issue. There are customers that have sent their GMTs to Tudor THREE TIMES. Definitely buyer beware when it comes to the GMT.

    New to the channel and I'm loving the content 👌🏻. I'm a sucker for blue and I think a BB58 Blue with gold/gilt dial and red triangle at 12 in the bezel would do it for me. Until such a beast is made my favourite is the (*deep breath) Black Bay Bronze Bucherer Blue (or BBBBB?). Navy blue really benefits from a less stark colour next to it so use of beige, yellow, gold or bronze complements it perfectly in my mind. Thanks for all the great content, keep up the great work!👍🏻

    Forget the in house movements, the pre 2016 ‘smiley face’, 41mm, Tudor Rose is the one to go for in my opinion. Maybe slightly biased as I own one in red, but the rose on the dial is the difference. I’m not a fan of the shield. Mine’s just over 5 years old, owned from new, and still running at -2secs/day - easy within COSC spec and any watch maker can work on an ETA if needed.

    I was really let down when I tried on the BB58. I was so excited when I popped into WoS and casually asked if they had one and they said they did. When I tried it on I didn’t get the tingles. So glad I got to try it on first as it’s hard to find. I’m leaning more towards the BB36 in blue.

  • @tomunsworth2401

    I love the look of the black bay 36 s&g but I'm saving up for a watch I could wear daily and can see the gold wearing off over time and also the general look just being a bit flashy for day-to-day wear for me personally, so that has left me struggling to decide between either of the two colours currently available for the fifty-eight and the GMT, if I'm being honest with myself I prefer the overall look of the GMT however I know my wrists are pretty small and that the smaller fifty-eight would almost certainly look better on me. I don't think the GMT would necessarily be ridiculously big but it would certainly be about the biggest I could potentially get away with... at some point I want to try both on, because even though 41mm watches might not be TOO big on me, the GMT is famously chunky as well with the fifty-eight being smaller in all dimensions... anyway the main issue is actually saving up the money atm so I'll cross that bridge if and when I get to it ahahaha

      @ZachBie Před 4 lety

      I have the same size wrist, and I have found that 40mm is a the perfect watch size for me. The blocky sides of the case will also make it wear a little more “chunky” and make it wear ever so slightly bigger. Plus you are buying a vintage-styled watch, so this mid-size is more appropriate.

    (3:53)...."a perfect, modern interpretation of a vintage watch" . If it was a car, it would serve the same purpose as a New Beetle or a PT Cruiser.
    I prefer a Pelagos. It will be another "insprirational re-issue" in 40 years called the "Pelagos 12" but I can at least enjoy it now as a standalone concept in its current time period.

    Tudor is going to shock the watch world and come out not with a smaller GMT...but a Batman, the GMT is increasing in value very nicely as expected

    Dividing the model range by size is bizarre, that is not how people will choose a Black Bay! People will go with either GMT, diver or smooth bezel. You have massively complicated a simple watch range! What a mess

    CZcams reviewers must get paid by Tudor because every single one of you totally Ignore that Tudor has been selling The Black Bay GMT with a known movement issue with the Date Wheel. Watch you Seek , Facebook Tudor Groups and other have hundreds of customers that have this problem and it exists in watches since 2018 up to watches purchased in 2020. I guess Rolex - Tudor pays you enough to ignore their shitty customer service and shady practice of selling defective products. You lost all credibility!

      Hey TZOID08,
      We are not paid for any of the videos we do. It is our own opinion.

      @@CrownandCaliber Then why not report the bad with the good ? The watch has had the problem since the day it launched.

      @@TZOID08 In all honesty, we didn't think it was that important. In all of the Black Bay GMTs we've seen it has been scarce. That being said, we should've mentioned something as that could sway one's decision. We're going to add a pinned comment to the video.
