Wow, for a little moment I was taken to heaven, the video compliments the watch perfectly, the moon captures my mind from childhood, when I was at boarding school I would some times wake up crying missing my nan, and I would look out the window to look.up at the moon knowing it was shining over her and maybe she may been looking up at it also, this watch isn't my cup of tea in style but I appreciate it for ellagance and sophistication, I don't no why but watching this video made me think of my land the dales the white cliffs of Dover, the simple life. But the watch is far from simple in design, but the body that holds such complication is lovely and simple. To me, that's like a Rolls Royce. When we study horology, there is no way to set JLC out of the the top 3 dogs in the industry. JLC is either the #1 watch brand in the world or #2. Audemars Piguet might be top 10 but never top 3.

Poor explanation. Point. You didn’t even show the dial. They are nearly perfect. I collect not only the originals of various watches but their 1:1 copies. Just for the hell of it. They are so good you have to open the back to see the movement. Not showing the dial comparison was a dead giveaway. Get a super rep. Don’t open the back case. Then show the comparison.

I’m a quartz fan. My longines vhp gmt is my daily. My 2.5k mechanical never gets worn. My next and final watch will be a GS with a 9F movement. Accuracy and cheaper servicing just wins it for me.

Never ever buy Tag heuer, bad service, some are made by seiko, the caliber 16 is trash, stay away from them .

Airline pilots are college-educated professionals. Do they really need a $20,000 stainless steel watch to tell them what time it is in the cities they are flying to? Heck, even I can figure that out.

The cose for the quartz watch is pretty much the same as the case for the mechanical watch, but maybe a bit thinner.

At 10:28 the stated accuracies are very exaggerated. Run of the mill quartz is off by 15 seconds per month not tenths of a second per month as stated in the video. The superquartz is +/- 10 seconds per year accurate not tenths of a second per year. Citizen caliber 0100 is the most accurate quartz and that is 1 second per year accurate .

WOW!!! If this guy is not the epitome of a Rolex watch nerd I don't know who is! Yikes! I couldn't even make it through the first 5 minutes. The submariner is cliche anyways. Actually, all Rolex's are cliches.

As a watch enthusiast with over a dozen automatic and mechanical movements, I regularly wear a $20 Casio and have just purchased my first high end quartz watch. There are extreme benefits, and I am coming around to quartz actually being a superior mechanism...because technically it isn't even comparable. Quartz is king. Automatic and mechanical are beautiful and artistic, but simply not as technologically advanced.

So do you guys keep it running all the time or only when timing something??

Tag Heuer is so underrated in watches. My Formula 1 watch I was purchased back in 2006 as a graduation watch. It still works to this day because you cannot go wrong. At the end of the day, they are good watches and affordable. If you want, you can go with an upgraded Carrera that will be my next one. I like the Formula one but the Carrera will be my next watch.

Please help and put both the Tudor GMT next to a Rolex GMT, both watches shown from the side, so we can see the difference in their thickness. Most Tudor GMT owners complain is that it is too thick. The Rolex GMT is 12mm thick, while the Tudor GMT is 14.6mm. So the Tudor GMT is 2.6mm thicker than a Rolex GMT. Thanks.
