He wasn't innocent, GF. He was committing crimes. Blocking a roadway, reckless driving, hitting two state troopers and ramming their patrol car. What the GF probably saw on a social media post was the cops had pulled him out of the car after they shot him and had their guns drawn on him.

Absolutely tragic situation, and any loss of life is horrific. However, the young man made some really bad decisions that cost him his life. I'm truly sorry for his family and friends. Remember though, no matter how justified they were, the Troopers will have to live with their decision and I pray for them. I was traveling 95 northbound when this all started. I was coming back from visiting my brother. I've traveled 95 all of my life but this night scared me. I seen all these punks on 95 speeding weaving in and out of cars. They caused me to swerve and slam on my breaks I thought I was going to crash twice. One of them came so close to swiping my side mirror off. And some of them we're literally hanging out of the windows up to their wastes doing at least 90 miles an hour. I thought for sure I was going to see a horrific accident 2 miles down the road with bodies scattered all over the highway. And not a cop in sight to pull these punks over. Complete lawlessness. Their not afraid of the law anymore. But it seems as though the police caught up with them on Delaware ave. Be cautious out there people its only going to get worse. JESUS is coming soon.💔

Let me preface by saying that it's a shame that someone died in this incident and my condolences go out to the young man's family. If you don't want to be in harms way, don't do illegal stuff. As a teenage kid, you should own up to your known illegal activities. Go after the parents, where were they? and if you say he is 18, and that he is an adult, well, your own choice. I am sorry that someone died but this is the consequence. Can't just blame the police when an outcome doesn't go your way.

Absolutely tragic situation, and any loss of life is horrific. However, the young man made some really bad decisions that cost him his life. I'm truly sorry for his family and friends.
Remember though, no matter how justified they were, the Troopers will have to live with their decision and I pray for them.
The bottom line is that if this young man and others hadn't have been committing the crimes in the first place, NONE of this would have ever happened.

I was traveling 95 northbound when this all started. I was coming back from visiting my brother. I've traveled 95 all of my life but this night scared me. I seen all these punks on 95 speeding weaving in and out of cars. They caused me to swerve and slam on my breaks I thought I was going to crash twice. One of them came so close to swiping my side mirror off. And some of them we're literally hanging out of the windows up to their wastes doing at least 90 miles an hour. I thought for sure I was going to see a horrific accident 2 miles down the road with bodies scattered all over the highway. And not a cop in sight to pull these punks over. Complete lawlessness. Their not afraid of the law anymore. But it seems as though the police caught up with them on Delaware ave. Be cautious out there people its only going to get worse. JESUS is coming soon.💔

I dont know what happened, I wasnt there. They were on the highway blocking it off while doing donuts, rather than be in the house sleeping & some man gets killed & the gf is crying. Uh, a car can be a deadly weapon. I don't know the exact circumstances but if someone is recklessly using a deadly weapon and a cop, who's trying to stop the behavior, is threatened with a deadly weapon then I think they have cause to defend themselves, with deadly force.

These children put their lives in danger every day with these vehicles. A vehicle is considered a weapon, so people have to remember to take driving easy. IDK why they do all this dangerous driving, but it's so irresponsible. Parents and other family adults need to take a check on their children, even though they're over 18 years-old. I'm sorry for the death of that young man, but the officers have a duty to protect life and property. If the officers life was in jeopardy, then they had a right to defend themselves. So let's see after forensic what will be the result. 😌🤔

Let me preface by saying that it's a shame that someone died in this incident and my condolences go out to the young man's family. The bottom line is these road warriors are out of control, lawless, disrespectful hoodlums. I'm sure you are going to hear that this kid was a loving, hardworking, kind person but, when he is participating in an event such as this, he's nothing more than the afore mentioned. These thrill seekers can expect and should accept anything and everything that comes their way when they perform these dangerous stunts on city streets and highways. I heard his girlfriend say that she has been with him on these events and they are not dangerous until the police show up. This poor girl has received too many participation trophies growing up. She is clueless as to how the world really works. What these knuckleheads are doing is the definition of dangerous. A group like this killed 2 people and injured a family of 4, traveling home, last year in Wildwood N.J.
