Hi Chris, Thanks for this video. I stopped by today and chatted with Dexter. He's got my business when I'm back for a permanent next fall. Good people and well equipped shop. It's going to be a toss-up between the Meteor 650 or the Himalayan 450.
Very cool video Chris and Jho!! I’ve got a little 125cc crotch rocket by Yamaha in the province. The only thing I’ve added to it in 9 years is rust since she’s a block from the sea. It’s been tons of fun, but I miss the XT350 that I got brand new 1986. I don’t miss the pure enduro kickstart only, but it would have made the perfect province bike!! The 125 likes to put on her dancing shoes on the gravelly rocky back roads.
Hi Chris - thanks for sharing - RE is very slick - look forward to future vids from trips. I was out today on my Suzuki Bandit 12S - always love that beast! Starting to get nippy here in PA, so likely not many more days for riding in this part of the world. Thanks again for sharing! EW :)
Yeah, I’m digging the bike. Thanks for watching and commenting. I really appreciate it. Hope all is great there in PA and you’re able to get back out and ride soon.:)
@@CarefreeChris Yes I was curious about that. I am looking at some bigger bikes like from Kymco 360. My butt wants comfort for those long rides in an automatic.
Hello Chris, happen to come across your videos. I’m 48 living in Canada. My girlfriend is originally from Cebu but we met in Canada. Long story haha. Anyway I was just in Cebu this past July and August. Btw I also ride motorcycles. She has family and friends living in And around Cebu. My first time ever over there and I loved it. Except the traffic lol We do plan to eventually live there one day but for now Canada is home but we will be back often. Would definitely be cool to meet one day. Happy I found your channel. Take care & stay safe
The himilayan or nx500 will be a nice upgrade..I think a dual sport is the way to go in the Philippines. The lighter and narrower the better for the city and province.
@@CarefreeChris yeh...same road conditions for me here in Leyte...and trips to Mindanao and bohol..I find the lighter the longer suspension travel of dual sport /adv is best for off and on road here...and the lighter the better for staying upright on the slippery mud when on province roads, paths or construction areas that are muddy... I ride xr150l and would like w little.more horsepower going up the mountain roads..but nothing else is anywhere near as light and narrow while still being lightweight
I sort of gave up the idea of a proper motorbike in the Philippines. Reason is the hot weather. I cannot wear proper riding gears with that constant heat. With a scooter, having my body less exposed, I feel ok wearing minimum protection, such as gloves and close shoes. I will wear a riding jacket on occasion, on long transfers
Sadly, my doctor says the best thing I can do to assure my continued health is give up motorcycles. He might have a point. My stepson spent 11 months in a coma after a near fatal motorcycle accident. He’s never been the same.
Yes of course both are reasonable good choices for what Im imagining you would be interested in doing and environment around you there. Still weighing up my options as well for my next trip riding there with Adventure bike this time round. Cheers @@CarefreeChris
Your right about most adventure bikes. Must nicer upright riding and long travel softer suspension. I almost gave up riding two years ago (riding 60 years continually). Then I took a friends V-Strom 1000 for a spin. Wow! what comfort for my beat-up old body. So, I bought a V-Strom 1000 just for street use. I am loving riding much more now! My wife and passenger of 50 years says, it's the most comfortable bike she ever been on (and I've owned every style and size of bike)........
I still keep hearing rumors about a Himalayan 650 twin. S&S also makes a big bore kit for the Interceptor and Continental 650 bumping them up to 865. Probably overkill for the Philippines but I would like the ability to ride on the highways.
Sissy bar a good add-on but ya shoulda went full Japanese! Show Jo what she missed out on 😄 Ya'd be even more unique on the mean streets of Phils✌🏽😎Plus you're getting older and you don't wanna lose Jo a mile back before you even notice! 😆😂 Mabuhay!
finaly ;-) ;-) 😂 but you need to put the names in the headline example "Premium motorcycle shop(motoace) in the Philippines " ryoal endfield hunter 350 3500km rewiev and thoughts "
Chris, you have been doing videos long enough. You should know by now when you’re doing a video like this that the first thing everyone is asking when you throw stuff is what is the price
Not being a smart ass. I wouldn't do that to my vtx1800. I'm just understanding and considering the cost of where you are living :). Paniers would be expensive and look quite boujee in the Philippines? I would think?
Really like how Jo is getting more at ease with the camera. Also, I've noticed how there is a "we" in all your future plans. Wishing you both the best

Nice. Glad I was able to introduce you to these guys. I'm a big fan of Motor Ace and this shop in particular.

Nice shop
Sure is:)

Cool bikes
For sure. I’m a fan of RE
Awesome! Happy holidays 🎉🎉🎉
Happy holidays!
Hey Chris & Jo! That Himalayan looks great! That would be a nice upgrade for your adventures.
I think so too!
Hearing the name Husqvarna brings a mental image of lawnmowers.
lol right
Duuuuude. No more JCO's for you! Jo, stop getting him coffee and make him get up and get it himself!! hehhehheh
Lol I know right
Chris, Nice videos. Glad you did one on the bikes. I am not familiar with these bikes.
More to come!
@@CarefreeChris Yes I was curious about that. I am looking at some bigger bikes like from Kymco 360. My butt wants comfort for those long rides in an automatic.
Great Video Chris! Which camera did you use for this video? I like it🙏🏼
I'm using both my 360 in my Pocket 3. Outdoors in the 360 and indoors in the Pocket:)

Thanks for watching. I really appreciate it. Would love to meet up next time you’re in town. Hope all is good in Canada.
Boracay, and Bohol is very nice if you plan to visit one day if you haven’t. I loved Boracay, we had a hotel right on the beach. The Mandarin.
I saw that Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 that looks like a nice bike as well
They’re really coming out with some incredible machines

I’m really liking the light to middleweight ADV for the Philippines. Mostly paved roads and some light off-road is what i see I’ll ride here

Riding gear is a different thing here for sure.
bro knows his bikes very well!

i hear ya. i do
Hi Chris. You may want to look at CF Moto ibex 800MT With the KTM motor and options its probably one worthwhile looking at for a big bike there.
I’m excited about the Honda NX500 and the RE Himalayan 450. Really phenomenal machines for the Philippines.

looks like an Olde English styling , Norton

650 would sell well in North America for sure. It’s not totally out of left field as they have the engine already. We’ll see:)
hiya chris!,,thanks for all the great vlogs sir!,,,do any flippininos , and kids come up to you and say you look like Bruce willis?
Lol yes. I get that all the time
i thot so ..lol..hee hee..thanks chris,,,by the way u r much better looking!@@CarefreeChris

So what the prices like compared to America are they cheaper?
I shot another video and it'll post tomorrow with all of that information

Great idea. Throw up the prices. Noted

you need a milk crate rack, over the rear fender. Are you wealthy? You are in a parking garage?
Milk crate rack love it:)

hey joejo
Hey Gamer:)
Love it brother. Ya gotta show them prices bro . I’m shocked they have the large displacement bikes ….🎉
Couple guys were asking. I’ll shoot another video with Honda, Motor Ace and Triumph with prices.
2 up on a 350 is slow going
It’s got plenty of power for two up. My only complaint is just being comfortable really, as well as luggage.
