  • Showing you how to install FlexiShield HDL wet apply light tint. The benefit of using a wet apply tint is that the finish is nearly crystal clear. This particular light tint is actually ppf, so it has increased pliability and durability. Wet apply tint has it challenges when it comes to installing on more complex lights but with practice, many different styles of lights can be tinted.

    Just tried this yesterday on my Jetta ..wasn’t too difficult only problem I had mostly was finishing the edges .cuse the razor would cut it exactly at the edge of the light but I wanted a little extra to roll over but it wouldn’t stick to well cuse like you said there’s nothing there for it hold onto..now I’m going to do it over but this time I’m thinking of removing the whole light just so I can roll the edges over and then applied like some electrical tape to tape them down but I know the only problem with removing the light unit is it won’t be steady..great video man and thank you 🙏🏽

One side on mine is seriously cracked from sunlight, so I'm going to replace it anyway with undamaged ones from a scrapped car, but was thinking to add a light smoke film at the same time.

    Those taillights would definitely be illegal in the USA, and surely in the state of Maryland where i live. It looks good and pulls together the window tint, and adds to the theme of white and black, now the car needs black wheels and blacked out badges, and then the white and black theme would be about complete. The only problem with taillights that dark is if a cop pulls you over for that he/she will likely notice how dark the window tint is and ticket you for that also.

    • @CuiZinieR7
      @CuiZinieR7 Před 3 lety +1

      @@shawnk1953 Talking from experience, once your tint is well placed, namely flat and stuck on the surface, you can't really squeegee a bubble out without pulling the film anymore. Indeed, there's too much tension for the bubble to glide and if you still do it, the travel path of the bubble will leave some glue marks. So at that point, you can only poke the bubble to release the water out.
