I don't know why, but this made me shed a tear. I haven't been behind the scenes of this video, but for what I have seen, Brazilians look like those cousins you can't wait to visit on holidays. The fact that they also have a car scene made of "what they have available", also makes it up for their awesomeness. I loved every bit of this video. Un saluto dall'Italia ai fratelli Brasiliani ❤
Ti saluto amico italiano!
Welcome to Brasil!!!
You would love to see the Fiat Uno we have here too! 🤩🇮🇹
brother, BR suffers a lot from politics, but it has the most resilient people possible and we always find a way to overcome our needs to have what we love, and Brazilians LOVE cars A LOT, if you come to Brazil pay attention to what you will see of the cars in the streets, you won't see anything luxurious, but a lot of whimsy and of course, if you take an Uber, knock the door kindly. hugs from BR/Rio de Janeiro

Nobody cares. Stop shlobbering their meat
The only thing I didn't like was how they depicted the import taxation. I is true that this is the justification given for it, but when you look at how little the government invests in those industries compared to how much the taxes hurt consumer, you see its all lies and just a way to make more money

As someone who worked with a lot of Brazilian luxury watches clients for years, I can safely tell you that Brazilians are one of the most cultured people. They take pride in their culture but they're also very open to new stuff. People with really good taste for life.
With me living in Brazil for the last three years, one key take-away I've had from it, is how crafty these dear people are. Super-friendly, work with what they have and don't complain. Such an amazing country! Eu amo Brasil! 🇧🇷

This makes me view brazil in such higher regards, a truly devoted people who love what they have and what they can make out of it, kudos to brazil for being awesome.
"A Brazilian never give up" is our motto here in Brazil, it's part of our culture to be truly devoted to what we love!
I was born and raised here, and I can confirm, regardless of the problems we have, we dedicate ourselves a lot to the things we love, it's a cultural issue

Sure!!!! It was already amazing what they've done, but, with more time available, they would Go dipper and get a real glimpse of what the Brazilian scene is. For that reason, they must get a whole chapter for the Mavericks and another for a Marea turbo and it's beloved mischaps...
Ah, such good taste on this video. Loved the upbeat vibe. We all know (especially Brazilians) how many issues the country has, so it's a really nice tone to just see the good things. Nice one!

For anyone wondering:
The "AP engine" is a VW EA827 with some touches by the Brazilian engineers (mainly 144mm connecting rods instead of the original 136mm ones that came in the MD-270), the AP name came from "Alta Performance" or High Performance in English, and is more of a nickname than the engine model per say.
As the guys said, it kinda is our LS, mainly because of the sheer quantity of this things around, but also for the cast iron block and for it's known capacity to handle boost (we joke a lot about the "AP treskilemei", or AP three-BARs-and-a-half).

I love that donut is funding trips/ videos like this
I’m from Brazil too, this guy is my friend and he is crazy like that every time he start up this car! GM Caravan, a 6 cylinders naturally aspirated full bolt on
Fala Petrolhead, tranquilo ?
Y'all really out did yourself. I'm all on board with donut sending zach around the world to explore different car cultures. Japan next!
@DALLYWALL2015 me personally I think he should go to places that aren’t known for the car cultures a bit like this video
Everyone knows about Japan, there are dozens of CZcamsrs in English in Japan, you should go somewhere like Mexico, it's different and closer to home.
Japan is cool, but also fairly mainstream nowadays. Places like Argentina, Australia and Thailand have a lot cool stuff that doesn't have that many eyes on.
I normally don’t watch an entire video from this channel, this was made super good
best donut episode ever. MORE!!!!
One of the most true and respectful videos about Brazilian culture I’ve ever seen! Congratulations and thank you Donut Media for investing time and money to come down here and show a little bit about what we live everyday, and for being so open and respectful to learn about our car culture!
As a Brazilian I deeply appreciate you showing our car culture! It is definitely different from most, especially given the whole independence from other countries. I had literal chills watching this video!!! Keep up, awesome job guys 💪🏼
eu te entendo, tbm tive arrepios assistindo
BR é foda, carai! keepin' it real
Your video is very good in portraying Brazilian culture in relation to cars. I watch all the videos on the channel and you have a really cool approach to making videos, with a documentary and acid comedy feel. to the entire Donut team, congratulations
