I'm the master of dead sailor, I made tree in one day. Everytime, when I tried to fly higher, than...bang and dead sailor was in da house 😅

Blake is the best :D I know I can't do them jumps or parking lot tricks yet but damn do I enjoy watching Blake do em'
I would add not consciously looking down at the landing. On a set of trail style jumps you can get away looking forward, and even looking slightly past the landing. When I did this on steep dirt jumps, I landed so much on the back wheel that I almost looped out.

I just recently got back into trail biking i tried to hit a jump for the second time with some more speed and i got some serious air on a Schwinn S-25, i got nervous mid air and I actually slammed on my front breaks because I felt i was going over the front 😭🤕 which makes no sense. I ended up stretching my shoulder blade from my collarbone and now i got a bump on top lol but definitely learned my lesson. I picked up the Vitus Nucleus VRS so i can take it a little more grounded 🤦🏽
Definitely made the mistake of too much speed. Got bucked and Ended up with 4 broken ribs and a punctured lung.
My worst mistake wasn't even doing the jump it was the fact that I gotubsesed with doing this one jumo as everyone said I could and it took me months and in the end I didn't hit it but mtbing is about having fun and I didnt have much fun at all the time I went for a ride so yeah keep it fun 🤙and a smile on ya face 🤟

Things I have learnt; don't make your first jump ramp too big for your skill set. A ramp you can move back from your landing area gradually will allow you to guage distance and speed required for smooth jumps over gaps and develop at your own speed. Don't be in a rush to jump bigger. Things will always go wrong when you get complacent. Yes other people can do bigger jumps than you, you're there to enjoy yourself, not hurt yourself. If someone says "you can do that" and you don't feel right about it remember the previous sentence, you're there to enjoy yourself, not hurt yourself.
Could've used these tips last thursday... sitting here with a broken spine and needing to order a new helmet.

We got two of these for our daughters czcams.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L the same size for age 6 and 9. It works very well for both girls. Gears were very easy for them to learn. Changing gears up takes some hand strength and is a bit hard, but they are learning. They did not come with water bottle holders- we actually got confused and thought the Derailler Guard was the bottle holder!! Regardless of these details, the bikes are fantastic- even our six year old who only just learned to ride bikes caught on within an hour of practice and loves it. Lightweight and easy for them to handle. All the parts are in excellent condition and the bikes are easy to assemble and very well packaged. Great choice for kids!
