Navigation Open at Brinklow! Photos & Video - Boats can get through!

To end the series of videos about the massive landslide on the North Oxford canal near Brinklow I thought I'd just visit to see for myself boats passing through.
It was an absolutely massive undertaking for CRT & their contractors & there have been naysayers who thought they didn't have a hope in hell of opening the navigation by their target date of the 18th May 2024 but the navigation was actually open on the afternoon of the 16th; 2 days before the target date, so a fantastic job done by all those involved.
There are some restrictions through weekdays while works continue but nevertheless hats off to everyone involved & a big thanks to Vaughan Felton of the CRT for working with me to keep boaters updated throughout the past 3 months.

Thanks for sharing your time keeping us up to date throughout this work, well done to the CRT, i'm sure that there will be restrictions while work continues but at least water is flowing and boats will be able to travel during the summer, i'd expect a long winter closure, well done Wayne 👍👍
