yeah i loved the Sea Jesus, was my second jet ever but since then Hispanos were turned into wet tea bag launchers that do no damage so i cant stomach flying anything British anymore ...

I watched the video, decided to take the Sea Meteor for a flight, and a week later I can say this is a weapon of mass destruction. Never have I flown a plane that wants to accelerate as much as this thing. Its like riding a vampire bat out of hell with 4 Hispanos for fangs.
She turns so well, better than a lot of props, and energy retention is better than anything I've flown.
Flown properly, this little gem can kill Mig-15s.

When I play the long game and play smart, the entire enemy team evaporates before I can even get in the fray. When I dive in head-on, the entire enemy team suddenly becomes ace pilots in the War Thunder pro league.
Alternatively if you play the long game, you get a back row seat to watching your entire team die and deciding which way you want to die.

The problem with current air rb games is if you focus on survival instead of kills what happens in 7/10 won games is you end up with 0 kills and the enemy team dies within 5 minutes
You have to strike a balance between caution and recklessness to make profit
The hunter f1 still feels like a new plane to me
I love the sea meteor its only flaw is it breaks top easily.

I love this plane it has low repair cost, good br and is nice to fly
I reckon the reason so many people throw their planes away is because they're afraid of not accomplishing anything before they die, and make a loss due to their repair cost
This. Whenever I see that my team is reduced to just one or two players or even just me in a jet match, I basically go into "kamikaze mode", i.e. take as many planes as I can before I go down (I'd be happy if I get even 1).
High tier jets. Especially 8.0 and above. Should be structured like enduring confrontation sim battles. Bigger. And AI elements bomb targets to hit. Otherwise what's the point of 12 bombs on a phantom? Or me using my MIG 21s rockets. I don't play tanks. I don't want to. But EC matches in my 8.0 and above without playing sim would be nice.

It’s not a matter of who is faster, but of outrunning it
In the long run it may catch you, but a 163 pilot will have to decide if that extra 2-3 minutes chasing you is worth it
I've only been playing jets for a month or so and I've only ever come across the Sea Meteor once. It was on the enemy team and me and my wingman were in our shiny new F-80 Shooting Stars, and the Sea Meteor was just toying with us, looping around us, and bled us of energy and we just couldn't get guns on him. And then, he wipes us out. He was toying with us better than you were with the R2Y2s at the start.
I haven't played the Sea Meteor because of that low G tolerance. 7G isn't much and I decided to go for the Vampire. I guess I'm gonna be spending 350k SL on the Sea Meteor tomorrow.
I suggest flying the P.108B serie 2, it is the B-29 of 3.7 with its 100kg bomb load!

I want to get to jets so I can change my play style a bit. Both the nations I play, USA and Sweden, force you to side climb at the beginning for like 5 minutes before you can actually play the game, and even then, there’s probably a bf109f4 at 10k ready to cockslap you. I’m only one plane away from rank V on both.
American planes are extremely good at high altitudes. Seeing an American high up will make any weehraboo, pizzaboo, or weebaboo shit themselves. It's just that America has the majority of the inexperienced players (obviously) and they also don't have meta aircraft like the axis which means that you are already at a disadvantage when you start the game up. It also doesn't help that most allied teams are 2/4 fighter and the other half is bomber/attacker which means that fighters are almost always outnumbered 2:1 or sometimes even 3:1. If you really want to do well playing allies, you gotta squad with people. 2-4 people can easily carry a match in allies.
So yesterday was my birthday and although I'm saying this a day late, this vid was a great 'gift'

One time I ended up against a squad of 4 props, P-15Hs I think, even diving on me I managed to just pull ahead while red lining the plane and escape to my teammates who cleaned them all up for the win, such a good time in a fun plane and with a good team

speaking of not committing to head-ons, i was in a bf109 and had around 4 enemies on my tail. i was on fire, and on the verge of dying. Then, a hurricane (i think) decides to turn 180 degrees and head-on me. I shoot his engine and he is smoking. Another enemy, I think it was a J-22, head-ons me too, so i put him on fire and he dies. That hurricane which i damaged eventually crashes too. Those 4 enemies on my tail lose interest for some reason and back off. i managed to glide back to base and repair.
The good old times when the Sea Jesus was 7.0 and 3 or 4 of them used to rush the american's climb path on prep for landing on Hokkaido and destroy the entire enemy team, also the hispanos used to work really well, I miss those times man...
I might get back into the Meteors, kinda gave them a miss mostly back in the day. I'm a bit anxious about those guns though, last i used them, sparks for days
Sea Jesus returns, ah does anyone remember, back in the day when the meteor, mig 15 and sabre were top tier, where it took skill to use jets and you couldn't just buy your way to top tier. - and where me163s would bum rush at the start of a match

@3:20. The f89d is very good in anything that doesn't involve turning. But you can effectivly shoot guys from 3km away from the side or the back easily, while outclimbing and outspeeding most

BTW, if you belly land with a meteor, and if your nose is dipped in the ground, you can destroy your plane's nose with hispanos explosive ammo AOE!
Edit: i just aced meteor mk3, and can say that if you raise flaps after spawn you will accelerate way more quickly (as this meteor does not have the most power), and on 200+ kmh putting landing flaps and raising nose 5°-10° up will just rip you from the ground!

Back when we didnt have the hunters and all the afterburners, back with mig15 vs f86, then the f2h came and fucked things up, and the whole 7.0 meta was fucked for a good time
Honestly I like the Mk 3 better. Only slightly lower performance than the Sea Meteor, but a much lower BR and it doesn't have the same tendency to eject its wings in a high intensity turnfight.

Or even better: there are planes which are completely useless. One cool example is the Heinkel 177. An awesome bomber but the 50k repair cost is just a scam. Or how about the B29, I think its 70k. And ground RB is also terrible for farming. Without a premium vehicle it's absolute cancer to grind to top tier

I tried out the Sea Meteor recently until I spaded it completely... But my problem was that I didn't die from enemies that much... Mostly I picked up too much speed and the wings ripped...
I haven't had the problem with the Mk4 F though

No, not really, but when in good hands it can do some great things, once i saw a guy doing 6 kills on plane RB with it.

I will head-on anything in sabre F2. Especially using stealth belt, even the hunter. Not only the guns are awesome, but plane's agility makes escapes easy as sunday morning. Whooptiedoo taught me this, check him out

I have a question , (figured this is the best place to ask) why do people have the ias instead of speed because don’t you want to know your planes speed instead of ias?
IAS gives you optimal speeds for dogfighting and manoeuvring as well as defining rip and stall speeds so it's handy to have both
Can you play the f86 a-5 because I'm struggling with that plane constantly being upteired to 9.7 and having 10.00 planes going down to 9.7.
