    (1) out of all the work Sheikh Albani has done, why does Mohamed Hijab choose the topic of breastfeeding - which was affirmatively was going to cause confusion and responses,
    (2) You have responded and all questions answered and yet his asking more discussion regarding this topic - enemies of Islam will notice this quarrel; who's aiding the enemy?
    (3) who is aiding the enemy by belittle inheriter's of knowledge (scholars) and choosing ambiguous topic - which he knew was going to cause trouble,
    (4) Mohammed Hijab needs to choose more befitting topic : talk about his Sheikh Yasir Ghadi and how he made shirk permissible (praying to the saints -imaams and asking help from them )!

people are treating hijab's opinion like as if it's superior towards the sheikhs. we have to realise who these people are. muhammad hijab is simply a public muslim speaker. we should not seek religious rulings from people as such. why are we as muslims so eager to learn our deen from these people who have the biggest of egos. what are the many sheikh for?! it's amazing how us muslims have decided to take our deen from any muslim who has eloquent speech. is this how low we have come? i fear for the gullible muslims with pure intentions who simply want to learn more about our deen and are bombarded by people with the likes of Yasir Qadhi who thinks he is a sheikh and Mohammad HIjab who is a popular speaker. everyone should know their place. and to those reading this comment, i hope that we can stay away from people with corrupt intentions. we live in a time where people are rewarded by orientalists to speak ill about islam and to sell their deen for worldly whims and desires. may Allah protect us as keep us on the straight path of Ahlul sunnah al jammah

    4. None of the questions raised by MH in his video made any new thing to be refuted. One could just rebroadcast your ~45 mins video for each of the points raised by him.

*WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CHARITY*
*Sadaqah cure illness and prevents death*
The Prophet (saw) said “Treat your sick ones with charity.” (Saheeh al-Jaami).
It is good to give Sadaqah when a loved one falls ill in order to to help cure disease and avert ill-fate. The Prophet (saw) also said that “Sadaqah appeases the Lord’s anger and averts an evil death.” (Tirmidhi)
*Sadaqah eases hardships and removes calamities*
The Prophet (saw) said “Give Sadaqah without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Tirmidhi)
As Muslim, we believe that Allah (swt) has created this life as a test of our faith and loyalty through hardships. Giving Sadaqah during a difficult time shows strong Iman and gratitude to Allah (swt). Only Allah’s (swt) infinite mercy can change a situation and giving Sadaqah is a way of drawing closer to Him.
*Sadaqah is an investment in this life and hereafter*
A return on investment is not something you would normally associate with charitable donations. Nonetheless, Allah (swt) promises us that he will increase our wealth, sustenance and bring us success in this life and in the hereafter when we give Sadaqah.
“Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan - it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.” (Al Hadeed 57:18)
    *Sadaqah atones our sins*
The Prophet (saw) said: “Charity extinguishes the sins like water extinguishes a fire.” (Ibn Majah)
On the Day of Judgement, every person will be held accountable for their sins, both major and minor. Giving Sadaqah regularly is a simple way of helping to expiate any sins we have committed knowingly, and unknowingly.
*Sadaqah opens the gates of paradise*
Only those believers who were charitable and gave Sadaqah in the way of Allah, to their parents, orphans, widows, the sick and the needy will be allowed to enter through Baab As-Sadaqah, one of 8 gates to Jannah.
“But those who feared their Lord will be driven to Paradise in groups until, when they reach it while its gates have been opened and its keepers say, “Peace be upon you; you have become pure; so enter it to abide eternally therein,” (Quran 39:73)
*Sadaqah offers shade on the Day of Judgement*
On the Day of Judgement, the burning sun will be right above our heads and everyone will want to sit under the shade of Allah (swt). The person who gives hidden charity is one of the seven who will be offered shade.
The Prophet (saw) said: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” (Tirmidhi)
    *Sadaqah purifies the Nafs*
Our wealth, no matter how big or small, is a gift from Allah (swt) and can in some cases even be a burden. We are accountable for how we spend it and should try to spend it wisely. Spending our wealth on charity extinguishes worldly desires and attains the reward of the Hereafter.
“By no means shall you attain righteousness unless you give (freely) of that which you love. And whatever you spend; indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.” (Al Imraan 3:92)
*Sadaqah is a way of accepting Dua*
A Muslim can ask Allah (saw) to accept their Dua by virtue of their good deeds including the Sadaqah they give. An example of this is the Sahih Hadeeth narrated in Muslim and Bukhari, about three people who entered a cave, but their exit was blocked by a fallen rock. They asked Allah (swt) to save them, by the virtue of their good deeds.
*Sadaqah creates balance and benefits to all of society*
Sadaqah benefits the whole community and ensures that the most vulnerable, including orphans, widows, the sick and needy, have an equal standing in society. Remember, any act of kindness is Sadaqah, not just money.
The Prophet said: “Your smile for your brother is a charity. Your removal of stones, thorns, or bones from the paths of people is a charity. Your guidance of a person who is lost is a charity” (Bukhari).
*Sadaqah is a way to earn rewards after death.*
By giving Sadaqah Jariyah in either your name or that of a loved one who has passed on, you can earn continuous rewards now and in the hereafter. Examples of Sadaqah Jariyah include building a well, school, hospital, or masjid. The beauty of Sadaqah Jariyah is that you earn a reward every time it is used, for as long as it is used.
The Prophet (saw) said: “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).”

He made it very clear he doesn’t wish to bicker nonsensically but to clear the air with you in front of the Ummah. Why do you reject this offer? Do you not see your brother is disturbed and wants to discuss and come to an understanding? Why would you abandon an opportunity to squash this matter and the hate one may have in your or his heart on this issue? This is not good wallah. Just accept what he is offering otherwise you will have made an enemy of your brother. This is causing fitnah not preventing it. Also, you can go to Abu Anon’s server as well (Dar al Anon), and ask this guy called NotAWirus.Exe or smth like that, he’s quite knowledgable and can recommend you a lot of good books. Also, once you have reached a certain level in Dar al Anon, you unlock an entire library of good Islamic books. May Allah SWT guide you and set your affairs straight.

This is an answer by Islamqa for people who want to be students of knowledge:
      Praise be to Allah.
1 - ‘Aqeedah (basic tenets of faith):
      1- Thalaathat al-Usool
      2- Al-Qawaa’id al-Arba’ah
      3- Kashf al-Shubahaat
      4- Al-Tawheed
These four books were written by Shaykh al-Islam Imaam Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Wahhaab (may Allaah have mercy on him).
5- Al-‘Aqeedah al-Waasitiyyah which deals with Tawheed al-Asmaa’ wa’l-Sifaat (The Oneness of the Divine names and attributes). This is one of the best books written on this topic, and it is worth reading and studying.
      6- Al-Hamawiyyah
      7- Al-Tadmuriyyah
These two books are more comprehensive than al-Waasitiyyah. These three books were written by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah.
      8- Al-‘Aqeedah al-Tahhaawiyyah, by Shaykh Abu Ja’far Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Tahhaawi
      9- Sharh al-‘Aqeedah al-Tahhaawiyyah by Abu’l-Hasan ‘Ali ibn Abi’l-‘Izz
10-Al-Durar al-Saniyyah fi’l-Ajoobah al-Najdiyyah, compiled by Shaykh ‘Abd al-Rahmaan ibn Qaasim (may Allaah have mercy on him)
      11-Al-Durrah al-Madiyyah fi ‘Aqeedah al-Firqah al-Mardiyyah by Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Safaareeni al-Hanbali.
This book contains some general statements which go against the madhhab of the salaf, such as his saying, “Our Lord is not an essence or an attribute or a physical entity, exalted be He.”
Therefore the seeker of knowledge has to study it with a shaykh who is well versed in the ‘aqeedah of the salaf, so that he can explain the general statements in it that go against the ‘aqeedah of the righteous salaf.
      2 - Hadeeth
1- Fath al-Baari Sharh Saheeh al-Bukhaari, by Ibn Hajar al-‘Asqallaani (may Allaah have mercy on him).
2- Subul al-Salaam Sharh Buloogh al-Maraam, by al-San’aani, and his book Jaami’ bayna al-Hadeeth wa’l-Fiqh
      3- Nayl al-Awtaar Sharh Muntaqaa al-Akhbaar by al-Shawkaani
4- ‘Umdat al-Ahkaam by al-Maqdisi. This is an abridged book; most of its ahaadeeth are narrated in al-Saheehayn so their authenticity does not need to be researched.
5- Al-Arba’een al-Nawawiyyah, by Abu Zakariyya al-Nawawi (may Allaah have mercy on him). This is a good book because it includes etiquette and a good methodology, and important basic principles, such as the hadeeth, “Part of a person’s being a good Muslim is his leaving alone that which does not concern him.”
(Narrated by Imaam Ahmad, 1 - 201; al-Tirmidhi, 2318; classed as hasan by al-Nawawi in Riyaadh al-Saaliheen, 73; classed as saheeh by Ahmad Shaakir in al-Musnad, 1737)
This principle - if one made it the path upon which one walks - would be sufficient. Another principle is given concerning when one should speak, “Whoever believes in Allaah and the Last Day, let him say something good or else remain silent.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, Kitaab al-Adab; Muslim, Kitaab al-Luqtah, Baab al-Diyaafah).
6- Buloogh al-Maraam, by al-Haafiz Ibn Hajar al-‘Asqallaani. This is a very useful book, especially because it mentions the narrators, and quoted the opinions of others scholars, who said whose hadeeth is saheeh and whose is da’eef, and he comments on the hadeeth to say whether they are saheeh or da’eef.
7- Nukhbat al-Fikr by al-Haafiz Ibn Hajar al-‘Asqallaani. This is considered to be a comprehensive work. If the seeker of knowledge understands it completely then he will have no need of many other books of mustalah (the science of hadeeth). Ibn Hajar (may Allaah have mercy on him) has a useful way of writing, which involves examining every issue in depth and categorizing the topics he discusses. If the seeker of knowledge reads it he will find it stimulating, because it is based on making one think. I say: it is good for the seeker of knowledge to memorize it because it is a useful summary of the science of mustalah (science of hadeeth).
8- The Six Books (Saheeh al-Bukhaari, Muslim, al-Nasaa’i, Abu Dawood, Ibn Maajah and al-Tirmidhi). I advise the seeker of knowledge to read them often, because that will serve two purposes: reviewing the main sources of Islam and reviewing the names of hadeeth narrators. If you often review the names of hadeeth narrators, then whenever you come across the name of one of the narrators of al-Bukhaari in any isnaad, you will know that this is one of the narrators of al-Bukhaari, so you will benefit from this knowledge of hadeeth.
      3 - Books of fiqh:
1- Aadaab al-mashiy ila’l-Salaah by Shaykh al-Islam Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Wahhaab (may Allaah have mercy on him)
2- Zaad al-Mustaqni’ fi Ikhtisaar al-Muqni’ by al-Hajjaawi. This is one of the best texts of fiqh. It is a blessed book, brief and comprehensive. Our shaykh, ‘Abd al-Rahmaan al-Sa’di (may Allaah have mercy on him) told us to memorize it, even though he had memorized the text of Daleel al-Taalib.
      3- Al-Rawd al-Murbi’ Sharh Zaad al-Mustaqni’ by Shaykh Mansoor al-Bahooti
4- ‘Umdat al-Fiqh by Ibn Qudaamah (may Allaah have mercy on him)
5- al-Usool min ‘Ilm al-Usool. This is an abridged book which serves as an introduction for the seeker of knowledge.
      4 - Faraa’id (laws of inheritance)
      1- Matn al-Rahbiyyah by al-Rahbi
2- Matn al-Burhaaniyyah by Muhammad al-Burhaani. This is a useful and comprehensive abridged book dealing with all the laws of inheritance. I think that al-Burhaaniyyah is more comprehensive than al-Rahbiyyah in some ways, and it gives more information.
      5 - Tafseer
1- Tafseer al-Qur’aan al-‘Azeem by Ibn Katheer (may Allaah have mercy on him). This book is good for tafseer based on reports and it is useful and trustworthy. But it does pay much attention to matters of grammar and style.
2- Tayseer al-Kareem al-Rahmaan fi Tafseer Kalaam al-Mannaan by Shaykh ‘Abd al-Rahmaan al-Sa’di (may Allaah have mercy on him). This is a good, easy and trustworthy book, and I recommend it.
3- Muqaddimah Shaykh al-Islam fi’l-Tafseer. This is an important introduction.
4- Adwaa’ al-Bayaan by al-‘Allaamah Muhammad al-Shanqeeti (may Allaah have mercy on him). This is a comprehensive book covering hadeeth, fiqh, tafseer and usool al-fiqh.
6 - General books on some subjects:
1- On (Arabic) grammar: Matn al-Ajroomiyyah. This is an abridged book.
2- Also on Arabic grammar: Alfiyyah Ibn Maalik; this is a summary of the science of grammar.
3- On Seerah (Prophet’s biography): The best book that I have seen is Zaad al-Ma’aad by Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him). This is a very useful book in which he mentions the biography of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) from all Angles, then he discusses many rulings.
4- Rawdat al-‘Uqalaa’ by Ibn Hibbaan al-Busti (may Allaah have mercy on him). This is a useful book despite its brevity. He compiled a large amount of useful material and stories of the scholars, muhadditheen and others.
5- Siyar A’laam al-Nubalaa’ by al-Dhahabi. This book is very useful and the seeker of knowledge should read and refer to it.

Let me say why no Muslim should debate you on any "contentious" topic
    1. You hit below the belt. Undignified
    2. On this episode of Shaykh Albani, a simple question on how you would refute Shaykh's stand, got you to utter filth not befitting any person.
    3. You had your chance on public platform to express your opinion and engage and debate and take down the fatawa but instead you chose whatever you chose.
    4. You going out of your own control, is not the first time. You apologize and hence you are still in some way valid.
    5. What was the guarantee that you will not do this again when debating live, online on zoom ?
    6. It was extremely wise that they didn't engage in spite of your provocations.
    7. I felt good on seeing your apology on twitter. The point that you will treat this recurring problem of losing to yourself with wise men. Sadly that doesn't seem to happen.
    8. A humble suggestion in good faith. Avoid INTERNET till the coming Ramadhan, at least.

No student of knowledge who works in the dawah filed is qualified to criticise scholars coz that is not the job of the students of knowledge nor their place to do so, rather one can share the objections of scholars against the fiqah of a scholar and spread that as knowledge , but it is not in the place of laymen to talk about scholars . There are different scholars who criticised the fiqah of sheikh Albaani and disagreed with him on different matters . Its not our job as laymen to get into this in anyway shape or form . So no laymen should talk about scholars and if scholars disgaree with each other or criticise each other on matters of knowledge of the deen this is in no way belittling to the scholar criticised, it has been always been the way of scholars of Islam to disagree while still respecting each other . Regular muslims should be minding their own business of seeking knowledge and doing their worship and living their lives and leave this matter to scholars for God sake

He, also, was one of the famous entities to indulge into Ilmul kalaam and open discussions with outright deviants (apparently for Dawah purposes). But what seems to me, (and Allah knows best) is that those were causing factors for MH to go wild and mixed up. As our salaf have already severely warned us exactly against indulging in these things, I see such people (like YQ, current MH, etc) as an opportunity of social learning and take a lesson, study the damages these stuffs can cause in our minds, soul and our spirituality in general.

I don't even know why people in the comments are even taking sides and backing one person over the other in regards to the fatwa itself when in reality they have absolutely no idea how to take the evidences and form their own opinions. They say they don't blind follow the sheikhs because they are not infallible yet they blindly follow Hijabs stance and back him till the end with no consideration in whether he may be right or wrong, in this regard. I'm going to be honest, I am in no way qualified to give an opinion at all on this matter of the fatwa ,but I side with Saajid with regards to respecting the sheihks ijtihaad and efforts for what he has contributed to the ummah and not be so easy to let our tongues loose at their expense.
Hijabs domineering and overbearing, criticism of the sheikhs fatwa has caused a lot of animosity and enmity thrown at the sheikh most of them from the Sufi and other sectarian groups (which in reality have more foundational aqeedah issues with AL-Albani), who follow his channel. I also find it odd and distasteful that he labels Omar Chatila as "Amateur Salafi" as if to discredit salafiyyah in it's entirety and generalise it as if he is opposed to it.
There is just too much needless opposition to each other and misrepresentation. There is no need to make a live public debate in this unless one needs to reignite his hurt ego (for daring to question him) in order to prove his superiority over another. The fear of what the Kuffar have to say is not a viable and judicious factor in this discussion to begin with. May Allah make us sincere in seeking the truth and not let our nafs lead us astray.

It's a big shame really, since Hajibs increased number's of subscribers over the years it seems he hasn't remained as humble as he once used to be. He's always wanting to arrogantly prove a point and be seen as the guy that wins every debate.
Ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
    أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِمَنْ يَحْرُمُ عَلَى النَّارِ أَوْ بِمَنْ تَحْرُمُ عَلَيْهِ النَّارُ عَلَى كُلِّ قَرِيبٍ هَيِّنٍ سَهْلٍ
Shall I not tell you for whom the Hellfire is forbidden? It is every person accessible, polite, and mild.

Shaytan has his way of distracting us from the important matters. Best approach taken by Saajid. May Allah bless us all and keep the Muslim ummah united.

    1) Hijab has to know that the number of years that sheikh Albaani has spent in library ONLY is more than his (Hijab) entire life.
    2) If Hijab is given a mixture of ahadeeth (authentic, fabricated, weak etc) to separate them from each other, what results will he come up with?
    3) He wants to be famous and gain more social media attention and followers.
    4) Islam is not about logic and common sense, is what the Quran and sunnah has established provided that it is authentic.
    5) He didn't come to talk about the hadith, he came to attack albaani, and that hadith was there a thousand years before sheikh Albaani was born, so why was Albaani the issue? Some scholars held similar views like him.
    6) Every sheikh in any generation has made mistakes including sheikh Albaani, but we don't belittle them and discredit them.
    7) You want to be knowledgeable and famous like sheikh Albaani, read a lot brother.

Ppl studying hadith have said that Al bani RH wasn't actually that great in hadith and that he has made many mistakes. And that for many yrs ppl were afraid to speak up, b/c they would be ostracized and books boycotted.
