"If two groups of the believers fight each other, seek reconciliation between them. And if one of them commits aggression against the other, fight the one that commits aggression until it comes back to Allah’s command. So if it comes back, seek reconciliation between them with fairness, and maintain justice. Surely Allah loves those who maintain justice."

I just hope before AD and MH another debate took place, they would at least ask other Brother to review whether their format is suitable or not.
Personally, i really like Shamsi way of argument. Clear and concise and simple to understand, and respectful. First impression is rough, but once 2 or 3 times watching, you know it's not because he's offensive or anything.

@@peelfreshvita3199 Yes, the truth is people like Shamsi are providing a large benefit to the english-speaking Muslims by aiding in giving them access to the scholarly works. The scholarly works are like a flowing river of clean water upon a bed of ceramic on an island filled with trash, landfills, death and eroding flesh. Until someone has learned Arabic there is a big benefit from SPUBS but there is also a benefit in learning their flaws in the meantime and maintaining a level of distance with their general people's actions until we have knowledge of the foundations of the Q&S from the scholars themselves. Those who have clarified such flaws with level-headedness and maturity are people such as Khalid Green who has stated that SPUBS are closer to salafiyyah than SPFILES. So it's important to be balanced. Just wanted to express that because I have seen this fitnah unfold from different directions and this is what I've learned. Jazakum Allahu khairan.

As Egyptian myself, I assure you that Mohammad Hijab does struggle when he tries to speak Arabic, both Al-Fusha and even Egyptian accent are both broken. Anyways the language is NOT the standard to judge a Muslim or a reason to humiliate them. The Prophet Mohammad saw. used to treat people equally well even if they harmed him, that’s why his message spread fast. Saajid don’t be sad he’s such an arrogant person thinking he’s helping Islam by attacking others. May Allah swt. fix our hearts on the true iman.

The debate was done publicly in front of thousands of people, so a public reprimanding was totally CALLED for against the flaws and the faulty mannerisms displayed in the 'debate'. The greatest injustice being the fact that the 'debate' didn't really accomplish anything. When my country was implementing the Sharia Law, every News outlet was pouring in with lies and bs, spouting incorrect occurences about how we're stoning g-y people and taking the rights of women, how they're NOT allowed to drive. There's also rumors going around about how non-Muslims weren't welcomed in the country and we were rude to them, some courtesy of Drew Binsky. None of that is true, we're a small country and news travel fast and I can assure you, nobody was stoned or got their hands cut off. Not only that but the Sharia Law wouldn't affect the non Muslims at all. Even if he doesn't have to, brother Saajid was the only one standing up for my country and for that, I will always see him as a fair and just person. Thank you brother.

Brother Saajid. May Allah reward you for your efforts. We're told not to praise anyone too much but I think it's in the right place and time and I think and hope you wouldn't let it get to you in a bad way. I and a lot of muslim friends/brothers of mine here in Sweden really appreciate your effort. You speak with knowledge, sincerety and calmness and you're always right on point. I have also been following Muhammad Hijab and Ali Dawah before, and sometimes I look into their new content, but that's just to take knowledge of the how sad of state we have reached with misrepresentation and arrogance, just look at the desperate intensity and lack of humility in their content. Basically they are children and you are an adult, that's how we summarize it.
MashaaAllah brother Sajid just know, we pay attention to what's going on in the dawah scene and I would like you to know that we see you as levels above these da3es (Hijab and Ali). They can't even come close to you when it comes to seeking truth, patience, sincerety and presentation. Keep doing your videos you're much needed and appreciated. jazakumAllahu kheyran.
