Wanted to add to your comment akhi I reverted 5 months ago similar thing was debates that pushed me to want to understand islam that being said I think it's also important connect with actual brothers and elders if possible I found out I have a masjid right by my house I'm learning arabic there now and going threw aqeedah with one of the elders he leads a free class alhamdulilah it's a small masjid hamdulilah so don't underestimate local support depending on area
Salam aleykoum akhy, I'm a French convert muslim, I have my channel Qalâm Qalâm to do Da'wa in France and I must say, I totally understand what you talk about in this video, I am myself guilty of arguing with non muslims constantly challenging my intelligence as they consider that if I'm muslim, it is because I was brainwash, which we both know is the exact opposite, but somehow, I fell in their trap and I debate with them and end up humiliating them as much as possible, as they tried to humiliate me.. You video reminds me of my purpose, and it is not humiliating people, it is not my own intellectual ego.

Mon frère je te regardais à une certaine époque. J'aimerais juste te conseiller de ne pas répondre aux arguments des youtubers islamophobes mais essaient d'expliquer pourquoi la modernité et la philosophie ''des lumières'' est problèmatique. Beaucoup de musulmans ont des suppositions des philosophes occidentaux. La supposition la plus grande est la relativité de la vérité. Selon moi répondre aux arguments des islamophobes dans youtube c'est juste affronter les problèmes à la surface. Il y a des suppositions derrière ces doutes qui ne sont pas islamiques. Je te donne un exemple: Nous savons que les apostats sont tués en islam. En général les gens pour enlever les doutes des musulmans vont tout simplement dire que pour exécuter un apostat il y a plusieurs conditions et que même les états européens tuent pour trahison. Je ne dis pas que l'argument est faux mais ce que j'essaie de dire c'est que l'argument n'adresse pas le vrai problème derrière le doute qui est le fait que la personne ne comprends pas que l'Islam n'est pas une vérité relative mais la vérité universelle. Il ne comprends pas non plus à quel point la mécréance est grave et le fait qu'elle soit pire que le meurtre. Je trouve qu'il est important d'adresser les doutes d'une manière approfondie en enlèvant les suppositions occidentales des gens qui doutent.

Like seriously, if they want so much discussion or debate about Islam at least not in time of someone personal business and make a schedule with him when is the right time. For example : when a teacher is on a vacation, you don't go asking and demand them to lecture/teaching you while they having a free time. That's asking for trouble or worst.

The problem is that these days a few of our Muslim brothers and sisters spend more time learning how to disprove Christianity, Atheism and other ideologies than they do spend learning Islam. And they think this is what religion is all about debate! They clearly do not understand their religion properly. May all guide all of us.
If more muslims actually learnt about islam then there would be less muslims.
Saying that , muslims are leaving Islam by the millions every year because they discovered mountains of lies spread by your teachers and apologists about my faith and yours. Islam is full to the brim with lies and Deception. And muslims like Mohammed hijab, sheikh Uthman, Hamza, efdawah, Khalil, Farid responds and to a lesser extent Sajid lipham are trying their best to stop the rot but it's out there online and today and cannot be stopped.
If you was brave enough all the evidence is there , if you'd be brave enough to just look outside Islams sources ?? You'd see there's not a single shred of archeological evidence for islam pre Muhammad whatsoever. ? I mean None ! Have you any idea just how damaging that is ?? And if that isn't bad enough you haven't any written evidence whatsoever either.. out of all the 124,000 Prophets Allah sent to every nation and language and there's not a single Manuscript ?? Not even a fragment ?? Heck !! There's not even a mention of anything remotely Islamic from nation's we know was excellent record keepers??

Jzk for making people aware of the fundamental issues of taken philosophy as ones Quran and Sunnah. Individuals whom are not learned of their religion tend to lean on to philosophy to somewhat compensate for their ignorance of their deen and perhaps stand out from the crowd as being the beacon of dawah. Dawah is conveying the message of Islam Quran/Sunnah as did Muhammad p.b.u, the Companions and the tabieen. As for this philosophical dawah that has been built of atheists philosophers and scientists, when their philosophy crumbles the "Islamic philosophical dawah" will crumble with them. As for the Quran/Sunnah Alhambdulilah it shall be be always preserved and if one choose not to use it in their dawah Allah will replace them with others who will.

Your videos are awesome! Especially this one. I always felt that this way of debating disbelievers who had no intention of opening up to islam was kinda useless and this video with evidanced from the quran and sunnah really prooves that point.
Apart from that, when you get this famous, it must be really hard to have sincerity for the sake of allah rather than for fame or money. I make dua that Allah gives you sincerety to make these videos for the sake of allah and not for the sake of fame or money.

Salam Wa Alaikum. What we need to understand as Muslims is that, when we converse with the non Muslims using their logic and methods of conversing. We open ourselves up to start deviating from the beliefs and practices of Islam.
I always believed that confrontational debate in dawa was a mistake.Teach tawheed as a positive instinct at first, as non muslims are not necessarily "enemies" of Islam.
After that, generally speaking, those who deliberately distort Islam for reasons of detering others, must be confronted and exposed by those who feel the need to do so.
Clarification is a must, as you have so well always warned against brother. May Allah increase your effort to lead others on the straight path.

Intellectual debates do have an effect on the hearts and minds of both believers and non-believers alike. It was through watching the debates of Ahmed Deedat that I reverted to Islam on April 27th of this year. He inspired me to research both Islam and our rival bretheren, Christianity. These debates are one of those arenas where the spiritual battle between dīn vs dunya, truth vs falsehood, take place.
Masha Allah! Very good reminder brother. People tend to like the debates so they can prepare themselves for questions non- muslims may ask. May Allah guide all of us to the Quran and Sunnah. However, the Muslim Lantern and Shiekh Uthman ibn Farooq way of debating is really good. And when disbelievers approached them, they stand their ground. Every daiee’ has the choice to or not to. If that is brother Sajid’s style to not engage, Alhamdullilah and Allah knows best.

I don't watch social media Muslims, but Saajid's content is good and there are no ads.
Modern day philosophers on social media . Hamza Tzortzis, Subboor, Thought Adventure Podcast gang, Muhammad Hijab, wee Ali Drama (I have hope for as he is influenced by one another). They are intellectual heavyweights and lightweights that use very little of the Qur'an and Sunnah.

The social media dawah scene is causing a lot of Muslims to become arrogant and unable to receive advice without setting their own terms and conditions to receive advice first. If you don’t beat your chest and roar at every challenge you’re confronted with your “scared” and “running”. Suddenly using hikmah and being able to walk away from nut jobs has become undesirable. May Allah guide us all.
