Strong opinion love the creature features by the way, but if they allow the game to have more creature encounter instead of human this game would of been more better I loved going into an open environment not knowing what's ahead, but when I see human enemy it destroys the game, tomb raider 1 but like how you shown us this master piece of a prototype
I can't believe they cancelled this just to make way for the reboot we got. I mean I like the reboot for what it is, but this looks brilliant and much more enjoyable.
Makes me think of a Angel of darkness sequel
Thank you for putting this together. I'm fascinated about Tomb Raider Ascension, even a prototype looks amazing and makes me want to play it. This Lara makes me want to care for her, she deserves Ascension.

I remember first seeing this in a game of former magazine, I was so disappointed and upset.
Instead of a completely different type of game, these concepts seem to envision an open-world-ish version of an actual Tomb Raider game with horror elements a la Resident Evil. Very interesting.
This looked cool! Too bad we never got it...
So in this one it looks like Lara fights a lot of monsters AND gets to ride a horse?
And also is much more of an athletic badass, more like her earlier incarnations? AND gets outfits from the older games? (though they could just be placeholders, this is very early development)
I'm assuming the supernatural enemies are more late-game stuff. That's usually the case.
What's with the kid? Never known Lara to travel with children in any incarnation.

They planned to be added Jessica in TRU but later planned for Ascension as sequel but now is totally scrapped idea for Jessica.
@@Croft_Ed yeah i know the story about Jessica and the scrappet story for TRU, but i've never saw about this "re-introduction" for TR Ascension :v

why didn't they just use the Lara model from Underworld in tr 2013 jeez i mean look at her she's perfect unlike the model from reboot we got today she just look like teenage girl from high school
thats actually the point. they wanted to make her „unexperienced“ in the reboot so she learns
This habit of scrapping games already in development only to rush down and release new ideas NEEDS to stop. The Tomb Raider franchise deserves better. I also heard AOD was scrapped twice? The original ideas were fine just as they were. Finish what you start!
