When Leo fender visited family in Japan in the early 1940's' A well known Japananse luthier and family member to Leo
spent time with him teaching him all the skills of his trade' when Leo returned to the US, history was made..

I saw that! I had to watch a few times to be sure of what I was seeing. He just free handed it right in there. No template or jig or markings. Superb skill right there.
@@Kdschaak All what they did is very old fashioned and indeed there was templates for everything, just look again and think.
You think they carved those pickup cavities perfectly by hand without templates? Christ, there's one born every minute.

Machine operation is hidden, lot key things. Japan has been always a master in making of precise things. Love it.

Very elegant work, there are so many small details in the construction that American makers seem to have forgotten, or do not do because it reduces the profit on each instrument. I expect these guitars are hard to find outside of Japan, but I will look for one to add to my collection.

見た中で思い当たる人で言うと
ヨメトオレさん、ふぁみさん、ちいぱんさん、H.J.FREAKSさん
ですね。他にもいると思いますけど使ってる有名な人はそこそこいると思います

いえ、全然無知ではないと思いますよ！
むしろCZcamsの使ってる使用ギターなんてあまり見ないものだと思いますし、ディバイザーって言ったら伝わらない部分もあると思いますけどバッカスって言ったら安っぽく感じる人もいますし仕方ない部分だと思います

I have various guitars and basses from late 70s and early 80s, built at the fabled Matsumoku plant in Japan 🙏
Even the ones marketed, back then, at 'starters' are very well made indeed. I have some in original condition, and more than 40 years later they're great players! 👍😎
Top of the line ones are just absolutely incredible... All the specs you could only ever expect from highly expensive custom shop models!
Made in Japan means, to me, pure excellence.

ピックアップの設置位置の研削が見事ですね。飛び散ったおがくずが邪魔してるのに正確に削る技術。しかもギター本体の輪郭の削りや、部品装着の穴開けまでオートメーションではなく手作業で！ 正に職人芸ですね。素晴らしい！

職人の手で作るエレキギターは機械で大量生産するのと違って手間や工程が増え丁寧に作られているのが分かります。値段も数十万したりするのも納得
エレキギターが誕生した当初は
これでも「大量生産」のための作り方だったはずなんですが。
いつのまにか需要にこれでも追いつかなくなり
いくつかの工程を省いたり
新しい工作機械や合理的な構造を採用したり
そうこうしてる間に、当時はギター以外の業界でも普通だった技術が
時代遅れで、特別な技術になってしまった。
この先どんどん特別で高級なものになっていくでしょう。
それでは若いギタリストが減り、ギター業界自体が縮小して単価を上げなければいけない
悪循環におちいる。
それを防ぐには品質と大量生産を両立する技術や機械が必要で
さらにその機械の値段を考えると大企業くらいしか採用できない。
流通システムによって価格を抑えるハーレーベントンなどを考えると
これも大きな企業でないとできない。
そうなるとまさに命かけた品質で勝負するしかない。
気持ち的にも将来手が届かない値段になるかもってことでも
今のうちに買うのがいいかもしれませんね。
20年前はディバイザーさんのギター・ベースでも、廉価ブランドのバッカス名義なら国産でも定価数万だったぞ。自分が使っているのは中古で2万円台で、3:50 あたりで作っているのと同じ物（ジャズベースのコピー品）の廉価版。値段が違うので当たり前だけど仕上がりや部品のレベルも違う。おそらく完成直前の細かな調整なんてやっているとは思えない。
ディバイザーでも廉価版を海外生産にして、中～高級品を国内生産にしている（コスト的に廉価版は国内で作れなくなった．．．）が、昔は日本国内でもギターを大量生産していた。そうじゃなきゃ、初心者が買えないよ。

Japanees guitars are the best!
Their quality is very high for the price but they started copying Fender and Gibson in the mid 1970's without any legal permission and flooded the western market with them which they never payed any licensing fees! American made Fenders and Gibsons hold their value and knock offs don't!
