The car is fantastic. I drive the 2016 model for almost 3 years and I'm very pleased. More than 110,000 km, nothing changed, only regular services staff. Transfagarasan road, Pestera Hotel in winter - 2000 meter altitude, lot of other roads on winter, snow, mud... But, the 2019 model is much better than the one I have!

i have driven the older version and did an awsome job on snowy mountain terrain. a bit worse than what you have here in terms of terrain conditions. not much comfort inside but very impressive offroad behaviour. stunning.
La pretul cu care se vinde este ce a mai buna masin 4×4 super DACIA !
@Alex....nu ştiu cum e Vitara.....dar ssta e o cocioabă !
@Alex e faina vitara man dar am vazut cazuri care dupa o grindina trebuie vopsita 100%, sta prost la tabla este f subtire , sta prost la spatii (stau bine maxim 1.75 m inaltime), portbagaj super mic, consum maricel ptr ce e si ce poate face, sa o conduci sanatos dar la aptitudini 4x4 nu avem voie sa o comparam cu Duster ul nici de departe.
@Alex sunt putin diferite masinile in cauza! Intr-adevar Vitara are istorie ,dar dupa cum vedem istoria nu prea mai conteaza zilele astea ,in multe cazuri ,fie ca vorbim de electronice ,masini sau altceva(Huawei se bate cu granzii telefoanelor iar la masini cand vine vorba de fiabilitate coreenii fac legea zilele astea ,de japonezi stim ca fac lucruri bune). Daca e sa vorbim de istorie ,cauta sa vezi parerile despre vechile Suzuki-uri tari pe off road ,aveau tabla proasta si atunci, rugina era cel mai mare dusman al lor. Acum ,eu ma numar printre cei care nu isi permit nici unul dintre modelele in discutie dar le apreciaza pe amandoua. Adica mi-ar place un Vitara cu garda si unghiurile de atac ale Duster-ului si poate si o versiune pe motorina . Sau un Duster cu un motor benzina updatat si in jur de 150 HP ,iar interiorul mai aproape de zilele noastre. Iti garantez ca Suzuki nu poate ajunge in locurile situate la limita Dusterului datorita celor 2 incoveniente de mai sus(garda si unghiuri) . Din punct de vedere tehnic ,este posibil ca sistemul 4x4 de pe Vitara sa fie putin mai bun ,nu ma pricep. Un alt avantaj al Dusterului este cuplul de Diesel care este net superior in pante.O alta discutie interesanta ar fi faptul ca Dusterul este ceea ce este pentru ca cei de la Renault nu vor sa intre peste clientela de Koleos sau a modelelor Nissan care sunt mult mai scumpe , deci va fi tot timpul limitat in anumite aspecte. Sunt anumite inovatii care pana acum ajungeau abia dupa 2 ani pe modelele Dacia tocmai din acest motiv. De anul acesta am inteles ca lucrurile s-au mai schimbat tocmai datorita vanzarilor Dacia. Sper ca pe viitor sa iti placa mai mult modele acestea ,asta daca nu cumva ai doar o preconceptie ca ce e romanesc(sau Dacia in cazul de fata) este si prost.Am condus multi ani masini Dacia fara sa am probleme majore ,e adevarat ca firma la care lucrez le schimba la 5 ani ,dar acestea au fost conduse in Bucuresti in sistem sales force cu motoare Diesel .Asta denota destula fiabilitate daca ne gandim la 150000km in astfel de conditii, fara probleme majore.Desigur au limitarile lor si nu pretind ca e o masina cu pretentii. Spor in toate!

All Duster vehicle are made in Romania, even is rebadged Renault with all the components in same factory in Mioveni, Romania and spreaded worldwide whenever are ansembled Duster, Russia to Autoframos, South Africa with Renaul, also in Iran where Duster wil be ANSEMBLED with Romanian parts. Except France, factory from Mioveni, Romania are the most huuge one, EVERYTHING's needed for car ansembly is made there !!!!

I had two Pajeros with all their diff blocks (the rear one failing too often, yellow leds blinking on the transmission control panel often too - no good). I swear my Pajeros would get stuck in many moments this Duster has gone thru. I have to buy now an AWD car again in Norway, that is more than food for thought ...

esti o rusine pentru conationalii tai,pentru tara ta dar mai ales pentru parintii tai,te pisi pe tot ce inseamna educatie,respect,patriotism si vomiti pe bun simt.In viata reala daca ai folosi limbajul de mai sus nu doar ai fi eligibil pentru ceva dauna eventual puscarie dar ai incasa niste palme divine.Esti un complexat ,ai probleme grave acolo sus.Incearca sa nu te reproduci,faci un serviciu lumii intregi ,iar daca nu mai faci umbra pamantului pentru mult timp un beneficiu planetei.Te salut si sper sa intelegi ca tot ce am spus a fost din inima ,deci sincer!

Ein super Alltagsauto für Otto Normalverbraucher. Ehrlich zuverlässig, erprobt und vor allem bezahlbar. Preiswert, nicht billig. Und gut aussehen tut er auch, wobei Letzteres natürlich subjektiv ist.

Super to vypadá jen osobně do takových marastů nejezdím ale duster je super cena užitná hodnota co vím z doslechu od známých uvažuji o dacii taky spíš ale dokera :-)
Máme jich v práci několik, různého stáří a ani jeden duster zatím nezklamal. Samá chvála, ale třeba interiér u těch starších není nic moc. Novější už jsou na tom líp a ten úplně nový je myslím bez připomínek.

It looks very capable of road & in the snow, can you drive it in 4wd on dry tarmac without the front wheels binding the closer you get to full lock?
You can, but only up to speeds of 60-70 km/h, after that, the 4WD is automatically disengaged. The car DOES NOT have a differencial, so it's not able to allow the weels to turn at different speeds. You can leave the car on AUTO. In that setting, on tarmac, when grip is less than good, the on-board computer redistributes power to the wheel that looses grip. :)

The vehicle has standard Nokian winter tires. These are tires supplied to all Duster models.

All season tires almost don't exist in Europe, brand new cars are always equipped with either summer or winter tires (depending on the season).

L'accroche dans la neige ne semble pas si mal pour des pneus toutes saisons. Le pilote gère bien les gaz pour ne pas patiner inutilement.

1- Cei care doresc sa achizitioneze unul , dar nu-si permit;
2- (Marea majoritate) - conduc o masina din categoria Premium SH(destul de veche și cu un nivel de echipare slab('"troacă"' )) și care sunt foarte mândrii de mașina lor Premium -COCALARISME

Marea majoritate a românilor care cumpără gunoaie franţuzeşti, o fac din două motive: 1.Sunt habarnişti în ale mecanicii şi preferă o cocioabă nouă, chiar cu efortul de a mânca ani buni iaurt cu pâine. 2. Cred că e maşină românească, deci parţial şi motivul 2 este legat de motivul 1, prostia genetică, adică nişte spoitori necitiţi.

Schöne Aufnahmen, aber der Fahrer hat noch nichts von Differentialsperre gehört, wahrscheinlich weiß er nicht mal wo er sie betätigt!

Der Duster hat keine Mechanische Differentialsperre!
Das System wird über die Traktionsregelung elektronisch gesteuert!
Und die braucht ein bisschen um das eine oder andere durchdrehende Rad zu bremsen um Leistung auf das Rad mit bodenkontakt zu bringen!!
Aber vielleicht gibt es die gar nicht?
