About time
And don't forget: after 30, 40, 50... keep traveling!
Came here to say this. I turn 40 in 3 months BUT this list could still be valuable!
Age is just a number!
True, but the words you use in this title is stereotyping and discriminating and makes us think you have prejudice to anyone over 30.
Troy Topham I travel much more now in my 30’s than I ever did in my 20’s. No way I could afford a ticket to Asia with my salary when I could just get by. Now I can finally enjoy it. To be fair I do not have kids.
Exactly!
- 🤮 I also recently turned 30. Scary sh*t! I started my journey around the world 2 years ago...and haven't stopped. 🌍✈️
"Time is running out; start living!"
Haha 🙌🏼🙌🏼
💯
It's never too late to start living!!
🙌🏼
Before 30 i had backpacked with a 6 month old while my husband would meet up with us as he didnt have as much time off - family friendly hostels - bus and trains - portable stroller - and one backpack
Europe / new zealand / etc.....
my son is now 5 and has done 4 backpacking trips around the world (40ish flights) and travelled all over Canada as well
No matter how old or what part of life - travel can be done (and kids can do hostels)
That is epic!
1. Backpacking Europe with Friend
2. Do a Big Trip
3. Do a Solo Trip
4. Work a Season Abroad
5. Free Spirit
6. Go to a Crazy Festival
7. Travel for Love
8. Dirtbag Trip
9. Climb a Mountain
10. Cultural Immersion
11. Meaningful travel
Which two did I miss?
I write the same 🤷🏻♀️
Spiritual Travel and Environmentalist Travel
so agree enjoying life when you are young is the best way to go and then settle down and have some rest :)
Yes! I’m 18 now in my first year of university, this video has got me so excited. Ready to hit the road!!
That is so great! Commit to it!
I was lucky enough to go abroad when I was 16 and fell in love with it instantly. I swear I dreamed about it every day afterwards. But somehow I kept finding reasons and excuses NOT to, and it wasn't until I was 26 that I actually began, 10 years later. I'm so glad that I have now, but I can't help but wish I had started earlier.
All the best to you!
Sooo, you hit the road yet?
This is such a great list. I really thought it'd be 13 places, but I really like the concept of 13 "ideas" for trips. I feel so lucky and blessed that I've been able to do almost all of those already (from your list, I'm only missing the dirtbag trip). Still on my bucket list is a safari in Africa. -Brian
Dirtbag Safari??
BRILLIANT!
I'm in my 30's and never did any travel, none that you mentioned. I'm now married and pregnant and heartbroken that I didn't take the opportunities of youth!
Don't live a life of regret like me - go have these experiences!
I still haven't given up - just look at the Bucketlist Family. When there's a will, there'll be a way. :)
I didn't start traveling until my late 40s, now in my early 50's and have 11countries under my belt. My main reason for traveling is personal growth :)
"The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page"
so probably me. darn
Guys, I thought this an incredible video. I'm turning 25 in two weeks and when I was 21, I made it my mission to live abroad/travel as much as possible while I can. This meant that I've had to make lots of sacrifices, but I've lived either for work or studying in 6 countries on 3 continents, including Hong Kong, India, Italy and Canada, and I've travelled to many more. I'm glad I still got 5 years before turning 30, because there are still so many things I want to do. Words can't even describe how much I could relate, I'm currently sharing this video with all the people that I've made amazing memories around the globe with :)
And here I am rapidly about to exit my 30s in a couple of months. A good chunk of my solo traveling is about to begin. Woot. I'm a little backwards. lol
There’s no set formula to travel- do it whenever you can is the only one! Safe Travels Jen! We see you in the comments every video and really appreciate your support!
Jen O'Hogan I feel you. I didn’t really start traveling a lot until after I turned 30.
Ms Melissa same here. I started 3 years ago after my divorce. Been to 22 countries. Bought land in Jamaica. A house in Colombia. I live on a 45ft sailboat and when my daughter is 18 are plan is to sail around the world.
Jen O'Hogan it’s never too late! Started traveling in my 30s and couldn’t be happier
Jen O'Hogan I think ur the regular actually. Most ppl start traveling when they have the $$/have their life a little more together.
This is a really depressing video for those of us over 30 😳
But don’t worry kids, you can still do most of this when you are 30+
All*
@@bryans5878 ?
I’m 15 and I don’t see why u can’t take trips during work breaks
@@themasonexperience6844 When you only have 3 weeks off work and other travel obligations (such as christmas), you can't take long trips etc. Also, not every job offers sabbaticals, so you might have to choose between travel and losing your job. Not to mention bills, mortages etc.
@@katrinakl true. In Australia I think the pay may be better than the USA and we have an extra week off work
I'm 30 now and I've traveled more in the last 6 months of being 30 then I ever did in my 20's
Sometimes the fire under your feet burns a bit quicker - especially towards the end of the 20s haha! Glad you’re getting out there!
- #truth! 😳
Very true! I was like "oh crap! I'm getting older! Better go out and start exploring now"
Same here😊👍

I feel dead at my job, and I’m genuinely considering quitting my job and travel for a month while I’m in my 20s. This is so timely and inspiring!
I spent the overwhelming majority of my 20's in school and working. I went on one big trip when I was 23 for a month in the Philippines and had the absolute best time of my life. I spent the following years still in school and working and only traveling within my country (Canada). I'm turning 33 in a few months and have finally "woken" up to life and will start travelling even in the midst of a career. I'm starting my 2 week travel Indonesia then start going down that bucket list as often as I can. I feel like when you're travelling older, it's not as "colorful" of an experience when you were 20 but you do gain a bit more of an appreciation of life.
I enjoyed Thailand by myself.. been with friends too, but the alone trip had a different charm to it.
Gotta love a good solo trip!
Going there solo in May can't wait
I'm afraid of going alone but all my friends already started uni
12/13 Check! I'm 23! Left home on my own when I was 18 and travelled for 3 years before even getting a hint of doing further education. Have spent months hitchhiking Scotland and Ireland, travelled with friends in Europe, went to a huge circus festival, travelled to Germany for my love at one point, scaled a mountain in the Swiss Alps and did my working holiday in London and more. Life is rad.
Go go go go!! Nailing it Lisa!
They say age is a number.. but still do it before 30 😂
I almost started crying when you started talking about picking the dream that's closest to our hearts and to do anything to make that dream come true. I had the money for a trip I had been planning since pretty much as soon as i could think for myself. And then I had a falling out with the person I was supposed to go with and I dropped it, and now it's been a year and I have no idea why I let that get in my way. Thank you so much for reinspiring me.
Sounds like it’s time for a big Solo Adventure!! 🙌🏼
Just turned 21 about 2 weeks ago and this video is exactly what I needed!! I’m already going to Europe for 3 weeks this summer, but this video gave me so many ideas for trips I want to do after graduation next year. Thank you both so much for this! It was actually one of you videos that made me book a 2 week trip to England, Ireland, and Scotland last summer. I was so back and forth and after watching one of your videos late at night, I went online and just booked the trip with only a month to go before I left. If it wasn’t for you both I may have never taken the first step in booking a trip by myself. Thank you both again!! Keep doing what you’re doing and safe travels ❤️
When you talked about dieing it made me tear up. I want to travel and live my dreams. and im not scared a death. im scared of dieing before I live my dreams
27 years old and started travelling about 3 weeks ago. Ive been in Mexico for those 3 weeks and who knows what the future will behold. I love capturing all moments along the way. So far $300 Canadain dollars will have lasted me more then a month here!! Lots of planning though. I have had some amazing adventures so far and cant wait to see what the future will behold. super excited to see what happens!
This is not just a list. It is also a somewhat of a how to. I really appreciated this video!
Very thankful that we've had the opportunity to do 10 of these 13 just in the last 9 months (51 countries!) - my husband just turned 30 and I'm 28. It definitely is great to be able to travel while you can - we would not be able to go at the pace we are going if we were much older! Thanks for sharing Vegabrothers!
Great video guys! Age is definitely just a number... I’m 32 and hubby & I decided a few months ago to pack up and move to London (from Australia) to work & travel. It was always something we wanted to do but put off (cause of life in general) and we realised what are we waiting for so stuck our furniture in storage and left with just a suitcase ✌🏻 it’s already been 3 months and we don’t regret the move at all having an amazing time and making great memories 💗😃
Awesome!!
I love being 20, studying abroad in Europe and watching this video. You guys made me feel like I’m doing something right 🙌🏻
Sounds like you are Chelsea! Make he most of your time out there. Weekend City Breaks are the way to do Europe when you live there! Pick a few and make them happen. Safe travels!
Europe is so awesome to do with friends when you're young :)
"Dream like you're going to live forever and live like you are going to die tomorrow". That qoute spoke to me more than any qoute I've ever heard, thank-you.
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Luckely I’m just 17 and travelling to Brazil this year❤️
you should go when your 18 you'll enjoy it more
In my 20's and 30's, I can't afford a trip to the other side of the state. I'm in my 50's now and I travel everywhere and in style. The point is to travel anytime at any age while you can. You guys are awesome! When I grow young I just want to be like you.
Awesome list, thanks guys!!
Thanks for watching and comment Allie!
That's what truly implies to live life to the fullest!
Travel is an inspiration!
🙌🏼🙌🏼
I’m 27 and I’m going to South America and central hopefully for a year. Vlogging for the first time so gonna be awesome.
Hopefully inspire some people like you guys cuz I had a stroke and cancer but travelled Spain for 7 months a few years ago best experience ever and here’s to another.
Everyone should and can travel, it will blow your mind!
Thank you so much. I used to travel all by myself to Berlin, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam,...because I could not find anybody else to go with me. I thought I was crazy or that's what everybody thought about me. Now I know there are people travelling alone and I am not crazy.
Guys, you're amazing! I've been watching all of your videos (and even translating some of them to portuguese) since I've discovered you a couple months ago. But for me, this is the deepest, touching and inspiring of them ever since! I'm 21, planning my backpack travel to UK next year and saving almost all of my salary to do so, because that's my biggest (current) dream, and we only live once! Thanks for inspiring people like me and keep on! Much love from Rio, Brazil 💚💛
"You might feel an odd emptiness"
Made my day
OMG I can not wait to graduate highschool and go backpacking and volunteering for months on end. This just made me ten times more excited for the future.
👏🏼👏🏼
This is a great video. Every one lives a different lifestyle. Some people don't value travel... why? I have no idea.
You guys are doing such a fantastic job with this platform. Extremely inspiring.
Look for me towards the middle and end of 2018. Colombia, Tulum, India, Africa, and Japan all in the next two years. My girlfriend and I are going to quit our jobs as Registered Nurses and are giving all of our energy towards CZcams and Instagram.
VagaBrothers, we owe so much of this decision to you guys. Living life to our fullest potential.
@ethicaltravellers going live in 3 weeks as we start our journey to Colombia.
It's never too late...I just turned 40 and decided to escape my usual life this year and to travel....HUGE step but WORTH it 👌🏽
I didn't had enough money to travel before 30. But now I have great job and I did my first solo travel for my 30th birthday. It was the best birthday present ever:) I cannot wait to get vacation and hit the road again and explore the world. Cool channel.
I'm 18 , and next year I've planned to go to iceland. you guys have showered me with so much spirits and confident! Thank you guys
Almost six months in to my first long solo trip, backpacking central and South America at 19. Best decision I've made so far. You guys are such an inspiration, keep creating the awesome content! Made me feel like I'm doing stuff right, planning to go to New Zealand on a working visa this autumn and hopefully doing my dive master in the Philippines afterwards. Why wait?
At 20 I moved to Kauai in 1971... gotta love it so much right... so why go anywhere else... ? Now 66, travel fever hit at 54. Lucky me, self employment and the internet made that possible. Started with Thailand. Now 66 I've been back to Asia 12 times in the last 12 years always for a month, always solo, just me and my backpack... Lao, Cambodia many times, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar and Nepal too. No treking there for me, but the views of the Himalaya were sublime. Thinking of Rajasthan this time thanks to your recent video. Thanks guys ! You still inspire me at 66.
I dont have a bucket list i just travel ..... i am black american female, 49 and live in harlem nyc..i have been traveling way before the internet and you tube(through peace corps..guinea west africa 92-95) and i still continue to travel the world ..and keep my full time job...its not a race and that whole too old to travel is bs. No offe nse but by the time you guys r 35/40/45 because of the WAY u travel you r going to burnt out from travel...what is the rush. It happens when it is supposed to happen and not everyone has to quit there job to travel the world...there needs to be a balance....but you will learn that as u get older(bc we alllll get older)😆😊
I really do recommend travelling by yourself for a while. You learn so much about yourself and about the world. This is truly the best way to reflect on your life and what you want to do. Love the list!
This video alone has impacted me and what I want to do with my time and money... actually brought tears. Thank you so much!
Wow!! We’re so happy to hear the message resonated. We hope it inspires you to make the most of your time 🙌🏼
Watching this have me a new view. I’ll be 26 next month (still young) but I already have a career and a decent starting salary. But traveling has been something I have wanted to do since I was a kid. I’ve done some study abroad programs, and I did a solo trip last year. This summer, I’m doing another solo trip to Europe, which is my dream! You guys did a great job putting a new perspective on traveling when your young. Great video Vagabrothers!
I love your outlook on life. I almost let other people's judgement prevent me from traveling the way I wanted to. Luckily your videos motivated me to go anyways and it was the best thing I ever did. Planning my next trip now!
This is so awesome to hear Nicole! Glad you could help steer you towards the open road on your own terms!
This vid is probably my favorite out of all the ones you have. So inspiring ❤️
Aww we’re happy it hit a chord :)
Thank you for Sharing. Love you guyz.
I got my solo Europe trip to Rome, Vatican City, London, and Belfast in 4 weeks and I just turned 20 in March. When I turned 19, I set a goal to visit all seven continents before I turn 30. Watching you guys travel around the world gives me inspiration every time you a release a new video. Thanks for what you do.
As a new subscriber and a 20 year old, I can't tell you how much I appreciate this video, and it's definitely given me some ideas! Just a few days ago, I actually booked my first two solo trips, and I can't wait!
Love this, this is a great bucket list for any age. I'm 32 but definitely going to do more of these. Travelling should never stop!
I would love to live in America for many reasons, but the corporate holiday allowance is one big turn off! You guys get it really rough!
Indeed it is
About to graduate, I’m 19, recently traveled to Tokyo alone with a friend and the journey has just begun
Love the video Vagabrothers! I’m just 20 and finishing up my 2nd year of elementary education studies. I’m taking a gap year to Australia, and after I finish university, my plan is to to teach ESL in Spain! Thank you for inspiring me from your ESL video you guys made, it definitely impacted my life!
Wow I cannot explain to you how helpful and inspirational this video was to me. I have one more year of college left and I’ve know that I always wanted to travel after I graduate however to be honest it starts to seem less and less impossible for me has the time gets closer. This video just totally lifted my spirits and I feel so inspired right now to start planning and make my bucket list. Thanks you guys😊
Wow can believe how much this resonated with me- I’m 25 but I felt proud of how many of these types of trip I have been fortunate enough to do!
Omg I can't wait to start omg
I will be celebrating my 50th birthday while traveling like a 20 years old. Backpacking Southeast Asia and South America for a year. Thank you for all your tips, I love watching your adventures ✈️🎈🌏❤️
7:00 I would definitely be up for that with a partner rather than on my own... I'm a petite woman, learning to trust is good and all but maybe I should learn self-defence first 😂
Hey vagabros!! Learning a lot from you gents. Thanks for always providing quality content. I'm a 40 year old recent cancer survivor with a new outlook on life and travel is what I will be doing with the rest of it. Looking forward to my own new adventures and continued inspiration from yours!
Hell yeah Charlie! That’s inspiring stuff right there! Beat cancer and travel the world! 💪🏼💪🏼
That last point about feeling empty after traveling a lot... I got that a few days ago. I was living abroad in New York for almost two years and didn't want to go back to Australia because I felt like New York was home for me, so I went solo through Portugal, Morocco and Spain. I finally booked my flight home in Barcelona because I just couldn't connect with the city at all, and for the first time I felt like I needed to be back with my friends and family regardless of where "home" is. I'm with friends in London now and heading back to Australia in a few days, but I'm definitely going to take the spiritual travel advice soon - maybe not alone this time. Thanks guys for making this video and as always giving amazing advice! ❤️🌎
Taking my first solo trip next month!
Awesome! Where to??
I'm doing a two week road trip around California. Im starting in San Francisco and going down the coast to LA, then over to Sequoia and Yosemite and then back to S.F.
TheChowDown solo ?
Jodes G u im going there too lets meet up!!
SO MUCH LOVE for you guys! I admired the entire video, but once 11:35 came around up until the end of the video, you guys actually made me cry. Thank you for inspiring so many, and thank you for inspiring me. :)
Spot on my thoughts! You guys just made me take the decision to travel this summer instead of applying for a job after 5 straight years of university studies. Just turned 24, its time to live life and not just dream. Thanks for your great and inspiring videos!
Thanks you guys! I’m turning 27 in July and this has been a big dream of mine! I’m already planning my trip!
Get after it James!
So inspirational
Love you guys, you are amazing!!!
Where was this video when I was in my 20s?! 😭
Haha 😆- it’s ok you can still do them regardless of age :)
20 is just a number, and there are plenty of them, dreams, on the other hand, are hope, happiness and fulfilment. Stop thinking about the age, instead start thinking on when and how your next trip will be, the sooner the better and only you can stop yourself from accomplishing your desires.
This is such an incredible, helpful list!!! I'm so mesmerized right now, and inspired. Thank you guys!!! Love your content
Thankyou guys for such amazing advice, will surely try to travel to some places you recommended
They met on a train in Switzerland?! That’s adorable 💕
Hahah yeah! We talk more about it in our personal videos playlist
Thank you guys for a truly meaningful video!
This is without a doubt your best video! The actual tips are on point and the motivational bits are on another level! Im currently travelling atm so i always watch your videos for more tips, keep smashing it guys!
You guys are awesome and inspiring!!
Great video Guys!!! I'm 42 and can not stop traveling!!
I'm Planning to take my bucketlist trip early next year, a trip to tasmania australia. the first place I can ever remember wanting to go. this video really helped me not feel selfish for taking this trip. thanks guys!
okay... this is one of the most inspiring videos I've ever seen. Thank you so much for making it! I'm currently doing a gap year and thinking about doing another year of traveling and working before starting at university. This kind of made the desicion easy for me: as long as I don't WANT to study, why should I start? It's way better to learn about myself and the world I live in and then I can still decide, what I want to study. There's so much so explore and learn... altough sometimes I don't know if I'd be able to do it all alone.
Thank you!
The video isn’t over yet, and I effing love it already. Great work guys.
Mind blown 🤯
This is you're best video! I send it to my kids! I agree with you, I did it and I'm still doing it!
You guys are amazing!!!!
Your videos always give me so much inspiration to travel more! Thanks for all the tips!
Thanks for watching Sarah 🤙🏽
Totally agree on the mountains, taking this summer to hike all over Banff and Jasper! Maybe even down to the US
Thank you.. Thank you for this video.. So soulful..
This is so inspiring !
Thank you for the motivation!!! Just came back from Cabo and trying to decide on my next trip 😊
Thank you, guys! For inspiring us!!! I'll take the first step.
LOVE this!!
🤙🏽
You guys are awesome!
Some great humor with most valuable info about travel! Thank you.
I subscribed couple weeks ago with my other account and love the consistency on your channel.
Thank you for subscribing and welcome to the channel!!
Thanks guys, Don't forget to travel, we expect... More❤️😍
great video guys! really motivational!
I always love the top (insert here) trips videos of yours
Many more of them on the way! Hope you watch our other videos too - we love to make the vlog series but sometimes they get lost in the shuffle for the Vagabuddies!
Great videos. I just finished my 4 months trip around the world. Love your channel, hope to learn more from you guys for my travel bucket list channel.
Great list guys.
I’m 23. When I was 17 I became pregnant with my boyfriend of 3years. Which was during the time of my apprenticeship. I got 52 weeks paid maternity leave and so did my boyfriend. When are daughter hit 4months old we travelled the world together. We travelled for 27 weeks it’s was absolutely amazing and one of the best experiences. We returned to our apprenticeship which fortunately we both worked Monday-Thursday. So around every 2 weeks we would travel on the Friday till Sunday then return back home which we continued for about a year. We then really got focused in our careers. I was hired by Dior as a visual merchandiser/event planner assistant. After working as that as my job for 7months I got promoted as the store interior designer director. Around a year I got promoted again adding to my job description styling models for photo shoots and runways. Which I’ve been working as for about a year and a half now. My boyfriend is also doing really well in his career owning his own business. Our daughter is at school(was obviously until covid-19). My boyfriend proposed a few weeks ago. Everyone’s path is different.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ inspirational
