Alien is used for anything outside his natural habitat, so if humans are on the Moon and there is sentient life there then the lifeforms on the Moon aren't aliens, we are the aliens. So yeah, everybody in this scene is an alien.

Which makes your example particularly stupid, as you chose one that is about beings from two different terrestial objects. To support your argument you would have to name an alien from earth.

The best part about this episode is that technically, they could always have done a bit of both. They could have created a smaller universe to produce power for their society, while also easily halving the need of their work.
In fact, if they all power it correctly, they could only require 1/3rd of the people in each universe having to be powering the battery. Because all Rick needs, is the excess power.
I think Rick or Zeep said they take 80% of the lower produced and the rest goes to the world
If you can create an entire universe in a box you can create a power source that doesn't require human slaves. For Rick it's not about the power, it's just his demented personality and Fing with people that he enjoys.

They also cut his monolog short where he confides that because he was so busy with his research, he never visited his dad before they died, and it sent him into a depression spiral. Also, if those two get out, they will probably destroy his universe. Guy aint selfish, hes saving his entire universe.

Great episode. Really provocative philosophy in this one: Rick makes a block similar to a car battery (that he uses as a car battery for his spaceship), in it is a universe with a planet that he teaches to create power (to power its infrastructure) via manual labor. Then he tricks the planet to send the extra electricity out as the electricity the battery produces. But eventually someone on the planet (let’s call it planet 1) figures out a way to create mini universe (like the one Rick made) to make power so planet 1 doesn’t have to make its own power to give away (to Rick). Eventually planet 1’s mini verse planet (let’s call it planet 2) comes to the same conclusion about building a miniverse to do its work to give to Rick). The point I gather is it’s the fallacy of socialism: the exploration of labor always ends up finding ways to pass on the burden of the unfair exploitation to someone else.
The truth will have victims.
