I like the implication that Rick used a large portion of the money to make sure that his ad was on the tv channel in Needful Things and made sure Mrs. Tate would run into the store at the right moment, seems like the type of elaborate sadism he'd enjoy.
The fact Rick did this just to piss of the Devil isn't the funniest part, that goes to the fact Rick made sure to locate his store directly across the street so the first thing old Satan saw upon opening his own front door was Rick blasting the bird at him.

Rick gets roasted, so he makes a successful business in no time. This shows he clearly can do anything, but he only cares about certain things.

Really see Rick being a real grandpa/protector here
He shows that the store owner is the devil but does it in a deprecating way that makes the owner not seem that much a threat anymore with his gadget. This is like how a grandpa who finds out his granddaughter is in danger would control the situation and make himself seem in control of the threat so to foster calmness. Rick does it with his intelligence and calls out the devil by messing with him. Summer denies the danger and keeps working there. Rick then continues to use his intelligence to mess with the devil by opening a shop to remove the danger the devil’s shop pose, further controlling the danger. This in turn mirrors what a parent would do in protecting there child by trying to stop them from further pursuing something dangerous.
I forget what happened the rest of the episodes but this is what I got from this clip.
The reveal of the Central Finite Curve at the end of season 5 puts a new perspective on this. Rick is the smartest man in the multiverse, and has walled off every reality where he's not. So of course he can outsmart the Devil.
Best part is how devil tries to hang himself, and after Summer saves him and come home to tell Ricks, he is like :"Holy, shit, seriously?" with while smile on his face.
When you make literally the guy that kills thousands and fucks with them into doing that themselves. It’s kind of an accomplishment in the eyes of a man who does the same thing for a living.

I think this is one of the best written episodes. Not just in it's comedy but the general meaning behind how people no longer believe in superstition because we are looking to science for the answers, and in so doing really learn nothing from our actions and mistakes.

This "Devil" calls himself the Devil, says he's lived for centuries, and expects to be able to go back to a "Hell". Meanwhile, there are also afterlives, at least Floop Floopians have a hell, even if some of them don't have evidence for their heaven.
And of course, there are countless ways for Ricks whole reality being "fake" or orchestrated, or created by some powerful being. The Central Finite Curve might just be a subsection of a big storage unit of miniverses, in which case their God would be the manufacturer or manager or just the electrician of the miniverses. It could all just be a really good simulation, in which case their God might just be a much better version of the Zigerion scammers. Maybe it's all just someone's game (Roy / Story Train) or maybe a dream, or maybe it's just an ad. Most likely it's a cartoon made by some guy named Dan Harmon.
Or you could call Rick C-137 a "god" based on him creating a wall around a subset of infinite universes, usually doing whatever he wants, and even defeating the Devil, a Zeus, and countless other god-like beings (including thousands of himselves).
It would all depend upon your definition of "god", really.
Sure, there might not be any definitive evidence towards there being a God or a Devil in Rick and Morty, but saying that there aren't any clues, and saying that "there is no Devil in Rick and Morty" when there clearly are, is just ignorant and obnoxious.

After re-watching this, it feels like Rick is under the impression that the devil simply cannot make an item without a terrible curse attached to it. Like he treats it as a side effect that the devil is too lazy to work out instead of that being the whole point of what the devil is doing.

At 2:42 we here the devil say "What do you desire?" In British accent. It sounds exactly like Lucifer morningstar from series Lucifer in which he says "What do you truly desire?" In similar accent.
