Girl your right up my alley. I love me some chicken gizzards. I love the fact that you use the iron skillet because that's all I use to cook with. Even when I go camping I take my iron skillet pot and my swing so that when I'm cooking I can swing it out on the fire and then bring it back to me whenever I feel the need that I need to stir it or so on and so forth. This is the first time watching your video, but baby girl you are so much up my alley, that I am subscribe to you now. Look forward to seeing more videos from you. With love always, your girl gator-roll-u-2. Blessings ❣️ P.S. if you get a chance, you got to do the gizzards in a pressure cooker, with the chicken stock, and then add some noodles and cream of mushroom after pressure cooking.. You can cut the gizzards with a fork. Make you want to smack your daddy, I only say that cuz I got a better chance of not being a smack back. Lmbo 😂🤣😂🤣 Love for you baby girl. If you try it, please let me know how much you like it....

I'm 68 and have never cooked gizzards. My brother lives with me and loves gizzards so I decided to give these a try. O my goodness!! He said these are the best he has ever had and so tender. Thank you I really appreciate this.
I have ate, and cooked gizzards all my like and have never boiled them first. I definitely will now though. Yours were beautiful i can only imagine how delicious they were. You showed me a few new tips to try. I douse mine in hot sauce after, you're the best. Thanks for sharing
There is no more of an important step than boiling them first. I grew up in the south so thankfully had plenty of family and friends who know how to make great southern food. Many folks turn their noses up at these kinds of meats and veggies, (pigs feet, gizzards, liver, okra, collard greens) but simply don't know how to cook them. When they're done right, you cannot go wrong! I like to make mine like you made yours and then make a chicken gravy with mashed potatoes and greens. Thanks for this video!
My husband loves gizzards, when I used to fry chicken all the time I had no idea gizzards needed to be boiled and everything first before frying . I’m going to make some today using your instructions. Thank you so much .🥰
I've eaten chicken gizzards all my 67 years and never have I had better gizzards than these. Thank you very much, these are game changers. Two slices of buttered bread and you got a meal. I kicked mine up with some Red's Hot Sauce and red pepper flakes 😀
Just made this recipe DAMN good. I put my gizzards in a instapot for 15 mins to make them tender and followed the recipe. It doesn't get any better then this. Tks Ms d's bring on some more recipes.
I perused 20 gizzard recipes and in the end came back to yours! Yours gave me the crunch I wanted with the tenderness I desired! Thank you very much for sharing!
I bought gizzards and hearts yesterday. I’m getting ready to clean and boil them now. I’m gonna treat the hearts like gizzards and follow your methods. I finally know the secret to great gizzards, lol. I can’t wait to see other videos from you. Thank you for your video. 😊
I too am going to try boiling them first in chicken stock as well. I cannot wait to get me some gizzards. The French love the Innards with cream and wine sauces! It is a delicacy.
I love to get gizzards and chicken nicks and fry them and sit down and feast we can't get chicken nicks in USA now I don't know what they does with them now
If I can find them I'll buy them ,wife has trouble getting them / but once she foot them I follow your recipe thank you ,I see how gizzards with muster greans, and corn bread,. Any why to smoke them would like to no ,,,,
This the old school down south way of frying gizzards. I remember traveling down to Alabama to visit my GM. First thing she told me was that she had some fresh pork skins and gizzards fried up.
Still watched this in 2023 and I cook my gizzards like this every time, thank you so much for this video, and YES... i had me a gizzard feast for the New Year. Happy 2023 to all !!
A clean cook!! I love it.. maam you didn't have to eat them gizzards like that, my mouth was watered as I ran to the store to get me some lol great job💛👍🏽
Lady D! I had gizzards for only the 2nd time in my 49 years today from a convenience store of all places. I had to find a recipe so that I could cook them for myself. Your video was the first one to pop up when I typed in fried gizzards. I am so glad I found your video. can’t wait to use your recipe this week! When I saw how tender yours were I was hooked. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾THANK YOU MA’AM!!! One year I boiled ( simmered)my gizzards for two days for the holidays when I used to celebrate them for dressing and when I started cutting them up they were basically falling apart. My husband said we could fry these now that we can chew them. Yummy. With all that sage and poultry seasoning and garlic onions etc. THANK YOU!!!

Ma'am, thank you so much for your video. I've eaten gizzards all of my life (being from the South), but since I relocated up to the Northwestern part of the country, finding places that actually serve them at all has become at best, a chore. I've made up my mind to start making my own, and your video has shown me a sure fired way of making sure they're probably the best I'll ever eat. Thank you again, and God bless... 😊

I actually bought gizzards today and I was going to just fry them like I always do but you had a great idea about boiling them to cook them first so they are tender. Going to be doing it like this this time that’s for sure. I also love hot sauce so I’m gonna put a ton of it on them. Thankful enough my family hates hot sauce And even better hates chicken gizzards for more for me I say. Can’t wait to try it this way. Love the video
They were delicious maybe I won’t boil them as long though I think I boiled them to long and they were to tender lol, I like a little bit of the chewy feeling but other than that it was amazing fried them and loaded them with hot sauce,
Thank you 😊. I learned so much from you today. Can't wait to fry some gizzards. I know they will be amazing if I follow your recipe. You're a great teacher and fun to watch. 👏👌👍.
Thank you for sharing this idea. I pressured canned 40 pounds of gizzard when I found them on sale in bulk and been looking for how to start using them up and this was the first video that popped up and now your idea is on the top of my list.
My first time ever making gizzards and I'm soo glad I used your recipe! Omg! it came out amazing. Even though my momma is from Jackson Mississippi, I never learned fried gizzards. Fast forward a couple of decades when my elderly father moved in with me, he saw I had bought gizzards, but was disappointed that I gave them to my dog as her raw foodl diet. Every time I reload on gizzards, it's for the dog, and my awesome daddy would take me back to a reminiscing story of eating gizzards made by my mom and grandma and loving them. So this time, I got an extra package of gizzards for him. Thank you for taking your time out to do this video. He has now satisfied his year long craving for fried gizzards. And it's all due to you and your advice. U ROCK, LUV! ❤️ happy Valentine's Day too!

Thank you 😊
