  • This is the Dewalt DW2014C4 Drywall Screw Setter. This Dewalt drywall screw setter is from the Dewalt drywall tools line of driver bits. The engineers at DeWalt tools finally designed a must have tool for drywall screws. The DW2014C4 Dewalt drywall bit accessory helps you drive the screw into the drywall at the perfect depth, without over driving it and causing the drywall paper to tear. this is one of the most clever DeWalt driver bits they have produced. We have links to the Dewalt DW2014 beeow. This is one of the required must have tools for your DeWalt Drill. These deWalt drill accessories should be in your bag to augment your drywall screw gun. This video is a great demonstation of the drywall screw gun vs drill, where we show our Senco screw gun in action. This Senco drywall screw gun performed well, and so did the Dewalt DW2014C4 Drywall Screw Setter.

Don't want to be nit picky but it's not the clutch that makes it work. The beauty of it is you can use any drill. Thanks for showing people about it.👍

Me sitting here stressed out and about to screw in drywall for the first time - was worried about demolishing the drywall paper but after seeing this I will be grabbing this screw setter for sure. Thanks a lot for sharing this!

Jeff, awesome comparison with the drywall gun, the drill, and impact driver, especially with a 4k cam, thank you. I am totally buying a DeWalt drywall adapter, they looked perfectly set with both the impact driver and drill.

Definitely worth it if you can’t afford a drywall screw gun. Good diy repair persons bit

Try using them with a screwdriver or a drill with mechanical clutch. Use low speed and experiment with the torque setting. Also keep the dimpler bits protected from getting damaged by coming in contact with other tools/metals so that they won't form sharp edges that may damage the paper. Try using something like the dcf601 12v screw driver with these.

Good video! I'm pretty sure I have some of these. Didn't know what they were for!

I'm pretty sure the "clutch" action in your video was the Philips driver bit "camming out" of the screw (Philips is designed to do that). The buzz was probably the driver skipping over the screw. It doesn't rely on the drill clutch if you have your drill in the highest torque setting as your DeWalt in the video. Maybe on the lower torque settings it would use the clutch.

  • @maagu4779

Clutch setting is the key! The idea is ok, for small jobs. But really most jobs are not that small. Especially when hanging ceilings. The longer you spend the more on your back!

  • @milwaukee_69

I use a drywall attachment from Montana that can be used on a drill and impact driver and does the same thing as the dewalt bits.

The most of people in Costa Rica they use the mesh tape instead of paper tape for the joints, but i´m sure is better the paper tape according to what i´ve learned.
